The view was stunning! Great pool size. The rooms were very comfortable and A/C worked perfectly. The kitchen was fully stocked with all amenities needed. The landscaping was beautiful and we saw lots of animals roaming on site over the course of our stay.
The roof leaked during heavy rain on top of the couches and living room area. Outdoor lighting wasn’t great. There were ants in the kitchen when we arrived in two different locations up the walls and counter.

absolutely beautiful property, inside and out. Stunning views, luxurious interior and exterior spaces, beauty in every direction. The glories of tropical flora & fauna abound. had high quality and convenient finishes and fixtures. Made us feel both comfortable and steeped in luxury. The Vacasa property management representative on WhatsApp was friendly, helpful, responsive and very supportive.
The description did explain that a 4 x 4 vehicle would be needed all year round, and the mountain location suggested the trek to the property would be a bit rugged. However, the 2+ kilometer, winding, steepdrive to get to/from the property was more rigorous than I expected. Also, rainy season started a bit early which made it a bit more nerve-racking, navigating the drive up and down the mountain side. None of that is the fault of the property, but could have been explained a bit more. We did have an AWD, four-cylinder small SUV, which, honestly, was not ideal for this kind of road situation. But we were warned. The second issue was recurring power outages, sometimes just for a few minutes, but other times for a few hours. Possibly because of the rain? Although sometimes it happened during perfectly clear and sunny times of the day. We did ask the property to consider adding a generator if this is a situation that does occur in this location. Again, not under the control of the property owners or managers, but perhaps some additional consideration could be given to help guests get through those inconveniences. Two of my family were trying to work remotely so even the intermittent outages caused some inconvenience. But if you’re just there for true unplugging, and relaxing, you could not find a better spot. finally, and, again, not under the control of the property, there was a second property immediately below us, which was undergoing heavy construction on a daily basis. unfortunately for us, their workday began at 6 AM Monday through Saturday and, while we were there, included constant use of a loud table-saw for hours and hours each day. The toucans, macaws, hummingbirds and other glorious tropical birds did not seem to mind the construction noise. They continued to fly by and hang out in the beautiful foliage around our property, but it did kind of harsh our mellow.

The house is amazing. Beautiful location, fully equipped, lovely garden, great ocean view.
The people from Vacasa (the company arranging the renting of the house) were not really great.

Loved the stars at night. As well as the birds in the morning

Everything is perfect! From grill station to soft beds, you won't miss anything!
It's not easy to get there (especially if it rains).

Stunning & emaculate villa with everything you need for a relaxing time & more. Feels like being on top of the world! Even a running machine & weights to the delight of my husband & sons. Generous with towels, pool towels etc. Fabulous washer & dryer.
The access road is not for the faint hearted. Access would not be possible without a 4x4 and even then it’s a challenge especially in serious rain. An information book with clues as to rubbish disposal and pool man visits would have been useful. You really need to make sure you don’t forget anything during your supermarket trip!
