About this apartment rental
With a private balcony and great view of the courtyard, pool, and beach, this 2nd floor condo will soon become your home away from home. This beautifully renovated condo has a spacious living room with brand new furniture as of Fall 2021, plenty of seating for the whole family. The full equipped kitchen has new cabinets and quartz countertops and comes with a full size washer and dryer and both a drip coffee pot and a Keurig. The primary bedroom has a plus king size bed and the private ensuite bath has a walk in shower. The second bedroom has a queen size bed and in the smaller, third bedroom also known as the “Crow’s Nest,” has two bunk bed style twins. Please be advised, for safety reasons we ask that no one over 100lbs go on the top bunks. All the condos are equipped with private WIFI and have TVs in the living room, master bedroom, and second bedroom. We provide initial toilet paper, trash bags, bath soap, and dishwasher powder. Guests are advised to bring supplementary items if needed. Take advantage of the recreational opportunities of this private gated community, including a large oceanfront pool, children's playground, two tennis courts with pickleball court lines, and a basketball hoop. Our indoor amenities include a heated pool, sauna, racquet ball court, and fitness center. Due to COVID-19 please be advised Colony Reef Club does not guarantee health, safety and welfare and that use of common areas and facilities is at your own risk. The beautiful, white, sandy beaches are just a two-minute walk from buildings 1 and 2 and a three-minute walk from building 3. The beaches are accessible by car with just a short drive north to the Dondanville Road Access. Only a 15-minute drive away is historic downtown Saint Augustine, where there is no shortage of shopping, dining, or fun activities for people of all ages. Check out the towns many historic attractions or hop on the Trolley’s to see it all on the go! You can purchase tickets to many of Saint Augustine’s attractions here in the office! Saint Augustine has no shortage of kid friendly entertainment! Check out the Alligator Farm or the Lighthouse and Maritime Museum here on the island or head downtown for the Pirate and Treasure Museum or Potter’s Wax Museum for some good old fashion family fun!

Great location, grounds well kept. Walkway to beach almost new. Unit we stayed in needs deep cleaning. Cobwebs and dust on top of refrigerator and other objects, cooking pan was in terrible shape.

The condo complex was a great spot as an introduction to St Augustine and the area. We made use of a lot of the complex amenities, including both pools, the hot tub, the tennis & racquetball courts. The condo itself was a bit dated and less clean & taken care of than I would expect, possibly just due to the age of the complex itself. We were coming from a stay in Hilton Head so I had that as a recent comparison. Overall, we adjusted to the condo nicely and the property management company was responsive. The condo could definitely benefit from an investment in continued upgrades and maintenance to compete against other vrbo condo properties.
Really enjoyed the beach and outdoor pool and hot tub! Also loved dining at Beachcombers and mini golfing, which was a short drive away. The Alligator Farm was a pleasant surprise - great for both kids age 7 & 9.

Colony Reef is an awesome complex. Love the views of the ocean. Wonderful well kept landscaping. The amenities are perfect for us. Love the indoor heated pool!!! Our unit is perfect for us. Has exactly what we need to live here for 3 months. We r coming back and can’t wait to return. Staff was awesome to work with. We very much enjoyed our time here.

My family and I enjoyed this renal unit - clean and nicely decorated. We had a few minor issues on the first day such as: (a) one toilet not flushing; (b) one bathroom fan not working; and (c) one blind fell down in the living room. These items were quickly addressed by the main office and repaired the next day. Also, the dryer did not dry the clothes even after 2 cycles. Overall, a satisfactory unit and a wonderful holiday!

This year the kids wanted to stay closer to home so I found this place.We got lucky our first time renting at Colony Reef! Our rental was spotless, comfortable & by lucky, I meant we had a wonderful location! We have already booked it again for next year. I thought our owner went above & beyond by providing the little things that most rentals we’ve stayed, don’t think about. Looking forward to next year!

Beautifully updated unit with lovely beach decor. Furniture and beds were all comfortable. Great location near many kid friendly attractions. There were seven of us staying in the unit including 3 young children. The kids loved the bunk room. The white sandy beach is amazing and the complex pool is impeccably maintained. Our unit served our purposes quite well. The extremely large outdoor pool and hottub were well located and beach access a breeze. Had many more amenities, but we just never got to try them out. Publix and Winn Dixie very close.

We had an "ok" stay in this particular condo. The owner was very good about responding right away and allowing us to check in a couple of hours early. However, both toilets were leaking and in need of repair. Both showers literally drizzled water for a shower making it very hard to clean and rinse off. The hot water did not last long at all. The kitchen lacked in supplies like serving spoons and cooking utensils. The living room and master bedroom vertical blinds were broken. Was told beach chairs were provided but did not mention that meant beach chairs to tote all the way down the long walk to the sugar sand beach...and they were the 1982 style chairs...not lounge chairs. We had to buy our own from WM. Beach towels were not provided. I had to bring about 8 beach towels. I felt like I packed up our home to take it on vacation and that just isn't "vacation" to me. The property itself is very nice and has a lot of amenities which are very clean and well kept. The pool is very nice and so is the beach area....just very hard to walk on as the sand is thick and very soft and there is an uphill trot on your way back to the condo toting all of your supplies (chairs, towels, cooler, etc). The condo is in need of a lot of repairs. For the money I will look around at other properties next time or just a different beach in general. I do not like having to tote and supply our own beach towels and chairs. I can stay home and do that.

Everything about the colony reef condo was exceptional! The location is great and the views of waking up to the sound of the waves was awesome. It was not only great for 4 adults the kids loved the place also, we had an 8,4,and 2 year old with us and they loved sleeping in the bunk room. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to travel to st. Augustine.

Our condo was well appointed with excellent views of the pool and ocean. It contained all the amenities a family needs for a week at the beach. The facilities of the complex itself were well maintained and clean. The only downside of the condo was the mattresses need to be updated—they were very firm and uncomfortable. Nicely Furnished - Everything You Need
The unit had all the necessities and was nicely furnished for a beach rental. The property as a whole was well maintained. Nice surprise that we could check out tennis rackets since we forgot to bring our own. Nice patio furniture. Great bunk room for kids or extra guests. We recommend the unit and would stay again.
