Very friendly and helpful staff, from check in to Restaurants to gaming.
Good size rooms with a very lovely view over the River. Great Buffet Breakfast, good variety and plentiful. We also had dinner every night in the Boardwalk Bistro. The Bistro was very busy every night, but we got our meals within 15 minutes of ordering. Great service.
Maybe a stocked Mini Bar would add to the comfortable room.

Room was lovely, and renovations are fantastic
The buffet breakfast was just ok.

Brilliant view, friendly professional staff, comfortable spacious room. Green room bar was vibey and fun. Fish and chips from kiosk great for price.
Cafe food and coffee was ok, not brilliant. Mini bar a bit pricey.

We had a wonderful view - the comfy bed was perfect and our breakfast options were perfect. The staff were also exceptional. A big shout out to Marg(ie) who worked downstairs at the Boardwalk Cafe - thank you for making us feel so welcome.
Nothing - we really did have a perfect break.

The view from my room was great including quiet and comfortable bed. The live music and seating options in the Casino Bar was my personal favourite. The cafe options and service was very good. I enjoyed my visit to the spa hot tub and sauna. I played a round of mini golf!
I think the staff could improve how they conduct the fire evacuation including the way they talk to the guests and also not running however be brisk. As there are so many levels with rooms surely it could be possible to include another set of lifts? My friend had mountain view and I had harbour view, when we booked I had sent a message to request close room allocation however I think we were 6 levels apart. On my check-out morning, around 8:45am it took 5 attempts for my turn to go from my level to the hotel lobby. In addition in the bars, the staff need to clear the glasses or empty bottles much quicker, we left the Green Room, returned more than 1.5 hours to the same table, my friend took our glass and bottle back to the bar. We didn't get into the Birdcage as it was always crowded.

The staff member at check-in was rude, condescending and allocated me a room that was already occupied.
During check-in, the staff member was u professional, smug, and rude. He smugly commented that he suggests i provide a credit card with sufficient funds (insufficient funds earlier in the day prior to check-in).
I asked what time the Longhorn resteraunt opened and if a booking would be required. He answered "around 5 or 5.30" indicating he did not know. He advised a booking would lilely not be required, however due to an event; the resteraunt was booked out and we had to wait an hour for a table to become available.
Upon allocating a room, we carried our bags upstairs, and our swipe card would not work or open our door. Frustrated, we asked housekeeping close by to gain access for us, only to discover the bed not made, and someone elses belongings in the room. Housekeeping confirmed there were already guests in that room.
Upon returning to reception, the same staff member laughed and said that's not right. No apology or explanation was provided. The staff member changed our room on the same floor and joked that if someone was staying in this room to again come to reception to have it rectified. This was not funny, nor appropriate, and beyond unprofessional.

Excellent location. Spacious room. Great breakfast buffet.
The lift was very slow and many times we had to wait over 10 min to get a ride.

Had a meal in the cafe, which was good value for money.
The Satnav takes you to a back gate. It would be helpful to notify guests who are new to the area, what the best address would be to easily access the property.

Location, view, room and food were superb
Checkin staff said room would not be serviced unless I hung “service required” sign out. Yet to my surprise (shock) the room had been serviced when I returned after hanging out no signs. He should have said it will be serviced unless you hang out the “no service required sign”.

The rooms were beautiful, spacious & clean. Pool was lovely.
Only one working lift, then we started using the service elevator. 2 person Spa in pool area didn’t make sense.

For me personally the bed was to soft and I should have ordered up a different pillow.

The view was absolutely amazing and I hope to stay there again one day, when I revisit tassie again room was clean staff were nice room service wasn't to bad
the only downside i would say was not being able to open the window enough to be able to take a really nice photo of the outside landscape and the room service was a little bit on the expensive side

The view for our room on Level 11 was excellent over the harbour, and the bed was very comfortable. Towels and robes were great. We dined at the Point and Kwan Ho, and both restaurants were excellent. Not my first time, and will do it all again.
One of the lifts was under maintenance, but that was clearly temporary. The shower temperature was a little bit variable, but the pressure was good and on the whole, nothing to really worry about. Certainly no reason to not return.

great location with plenty of free parking. variety of eating choices so you don’t need to leave accommodation.

We stay here whenever we see a concert there. The new rooms are so comfy and the BEDS! Envelope you when you get into them. Very comfortable.
Not the properties fault but one lift wasn’t working which made it take ages to go anywhere but they did everything they could under the circumstances.

The bed was super comfy and the view fabulous
The breakfast was a bit ordinary; the lift was small and one mostly inoperable.
The lighting was too low, especially in the bathroom

Extremely comfortable bed. Fabulous pillows. The most friendly staff. Delicious food. We loved everything.
We loved everything we will be back.

The revolving restaurant was a stand out. Excellent food and value for money. We like the location as it encouraged us to walk into Hobart rather than drive.
We purposely didn’t include breakfast and glad we didn’t. Coffee machines were broken and didn’t feel there was much choice on the day we did have breakfast there. The first night the fire alarm went off(another couple said the same thing happened on a previous stay). There was no direction from the staff or even roll call. Good job it was a false alarm.
1.5
There was an emergency evacuation which was unsupervised. No staff saw to the guests coming down the multiple stairs, no assistance provided or directions. It was chaotic. Elderly guest on oxygen, myself needing both knees replaced and one woman with a herniated disc all struggling to descend the stairs. No communication given. No fire wardens, men in black standing in groups talking. I am still recovering from the physical strain of descending 9 flights of stairs

Comfortable bed.
Food is way below standard, Not cooked bacon and chicken toasted Turkish bread, raw bacon and Luke warm chicken, soft pita at Cafe, told lady she just looked. Buffet breakfast, no bacon wait 5 mins, no bread for toast wait another 5 minutes, coffee machine half cup poured, putrid and machine flashing maintenance , very disappointing. I felt like an inconvenience.
Accommodation at motor inn, step in and over shower...don't trip and taps for shower too low, which results in either burn or freeze as can't see what taps are.
I emailed Wrest point twice no response, then posted on their Facebook site....but still no response....iwanted to give them the opportunity to respond before posting feedback as per my emails...still nothing.

The room was spacious. The views of Mt Wellington and suburbs great.
Breakfast was excellent and good choices the area comfortable. With great views of the waterfronts and shipping.
Not happy about needing to evacuate at midnight and stand outside. But totally understand the reason.

property was very clean and everything was easy to access.
A lift in the Motor Inn section ha ha
