A comfortable stay for good value with great staff.

Very accommodating staff who were responsive to messages. Comfortable rooms with warm blankets and very good hot showers! The location is on a quiet street while still close to restaurants, shopping, and the city center.

At night you can hear some noise from the other guests, but it wasn’t excessive.

Ok for one night.

The responsiveness and friedliness of the owners. Great people. Very good location.

I had expected more after a quick look through comments and pictures on booking.com. I was slightly underwhelmed by the reality of the place - rather simple. I would book elsewhere next time.

Superb

The stuff was super nice and helpful, spent a lot of time helping us. While English was not perfect, it wasn't hard to communicate anything. The place is by no means luxurious, but it has its charm and I happily returned here for my second visit of Quito without even considering another options. Great breakfast, awesome location for tourists (safe, a lot of restaurants, shops, night life, downtown within a walkable distance).

Fantastic, I had a wonderful time

Beautiful property, amazing indoor garden and sunroof area and lots of lobby seating. Breakfast was delicious and very affordable, location was very convenient, within walking distance of most city locations.

Wifi connection was a little weak in the top floor roofs

Exceptional

one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in. it is very pretty, the rooms are spacious and comfortable and the hot water showers are really hot, which is rare in Ecuador. the owners are very pleasant, every day they called me by my first name, it may be a detail but I think it shows that this hotel is not impersonal, that the owners recognize us and that they consider. I highly recommend this place.

A home in Quito’s Mariscal district

Very caring and kind staff. The lady running the hostel anticipated our requests and offered help whenever we seemed to need it. Beyond welcoming!

We loved everything. The rooms are not luxurious, but they are excellent for the price

Exceptional

I highly recommend this place! They are very accommodating and make sure that everything is going good for your stay. The rooms are really great for the price. I would recommend the double room as it’s a lot bigger than the single room. :) The hostal is located on a quiet street and I felt pretty safe walking by myself. I recommend walking to La Floresta where you’ll find lots of restaurants. I had no problems walking from the hostal. The walk is about 15 min. Also this place is pretty modern and very clean. They have a fully equipped kitchen and overall it’s very good for the price.

I wish to come back!

Very cozy hotel! We had a room on the 2d floor. It was big, clean and looked authentic. Hot water was always available. They serve classic to Ecuador breakfast (omelette, toasts with jam, fruits, fresh juice, coffee). The hosts are friendly and helpful, one of them, Darwin, speaks English. The hotel is located at the one of the most beautiful street in Quito, very green, safe, quite and close to the bars

They charge 12% if you pay by card. Soundproofing is not so good, you can hear people on the terrace in the morning if they are not quite enough. Only one of hosts speaks English (but it's okay, in some hotel in Ecuador nobody speaks English at all). However these small issues didn't spoil our stay in the hotel and we definitely stay here again if we come back to Quito!

Nice comfy bed. Quiet location. Friendly and warm staff. Good little kitchen for making dinner. Free hot drinks. Great hot shower

Great value for money! Clean, good location, hot shower.

Value for money is exceptional. The hostal is very clean. The location is great. We didn't use the kitchen but did have a look at it and it is very well stocked. We were able to leave our bags at the hostal after check out until our flight that night which was very helpful. Best of all there was super hot water in the shower!

My only complaint was a hard pillow. The bed was comfy but just the pillow sucked. Such a small thing for overall a great hostal.
