Food, drink and service were first rate. Wonderful staff, so helpful and friendly. Location was excellent for hill walking.
Bedroom was a wee bit tight for two big guys, but not really an issue given that we loved every other aspect of the hotel and staff.

Very nice and modern hotel
The decoration is fun and the personnel is very nice
Very good food
If you have some problems for sleeping with some noise, I would recommend earplugs or go somewhere else
It is indeed quite noisy, would it be because of the road just nearby or the music of the downstairs restaurant

The food was AMAZING!
The staff is very friendly.
The price is pretty big, especially considering that breakfast is not included.
The bed was soft, but is was comfortable.

Staff were lovely, food in the restaurant was amazing. Lovely atmosphere.
All of the rooms are different and quirky in their own way. The outback room we stayed in was lovely and fresh, with nice little touches like handmade soap and mini shortbread biscuits. It's the little things!
The only thing is that the walls are quite thin in the outback rooms and we were hoping for a little lie in, but got woken up by the cleaner at the crack of dawn and were shattered after a long holiday so could have done with a bit more sleep!
But we met her after, and she was absolutely lovely and so friendly so that's nothing personal to her!

A beautiful setting in the heart of a stunning area. Comfortable and friendly, the bar area was buzzing on a Friday night. Food is delicious and well earned after a day in the hills
I'm not a fan of Dogs in an area for eating, keep them in the bar

Beautiful setting - love the quirky vibe. We’ve eaten here before, but this was our first overnight stay. Comfortable beds and fun decor. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent in choice and quality. Lucky enough to be there on a live music night, which made for a great start to our holiday in Scotland. Also loved the next-door store.
Breakfast could be included for the room rate, especially as the hotel is quite rural, so eating elsewhere means backtracking, or driving some way onwards. Makes a night’s stopover relatively expensive (in addition to dinner) when added on for a family of 4.

What a wonderful place I'm so glad we found. Stayed for 3 nights to be in the area for hiking and relaxing. Perfectly located, endless hikes to chose from. The bedroom was perfect - great size, very clean, extremely comfortable bed and great big/well pressured shower. The main facilities were also fantastic - wonderful friendly atmosphere for breakfast and coffee and cake and then great in the evening for dinner (lovely menu and delicious food) and drinks! Espresso martini was 10/10. The staff were fabulous and welcoming.

The loud music in the afternoon and evening. It did stop when we went to sleep.

This motel exceeded our expectations. It doesn't look much from the outside but when we got in we were so pleasantly surprised. We just loved the cool eclectic decor and relaxed vibe, it was super stylish. We loved everything about it! The food was good. The fire in the bar was cosy. The room was cute and clean, very comfortable bed. Breakfast, although not included in the price, was fab. An amazing, although very expensive, shop next door, with stylish, chic and unusual things in it.
Nothing we didn't like.

The staff, atmosphere, location, food, service are all wonderful. A super place to explore the area, or pitstop at en route to the rest of Scotland. Food is great, breakfasts + coffee are superb
rooms are feeling a bit tired in the main house, just a lick of paint in places, but super comfy and w wonderful warm cosy place to stay.
