Great place offering good access to the Galton-Gate of Etosha (.i.e. west-entrance). Lovely houses spread out in the spacious area, with nice hiking paths directly accessible, friendly and helpful staff, nice dinner and breakfast.

The place is nice, a few km away from Kamanjab, on a private property. The houses are very clean and cumfortable. The staff is really amazing ! Marychen and Bianca are just wonderful.

Everything. The welcoming, the kindness. I really loved the girl working here. Simply WOW. I for sure suggest this place and, if I come back in Namibia, for sure in my trip I will come back here. Room Is important but I think the most important thing is people and well, here they have the right people, for sure! Lodge simply lovely, confortable and clean. Sleep here for two nights and beds are so confortable. Come here!

Comfortable rooms and nice dinner. The main building really gives you that Africa vibe.
The breakfast is really basic and we didn’t have any coffee or tea making facilities in the room. Unfortunately, our room had a view on the campsite, even though the property wasn’t near being full. Kaoko didn’t offer any activities, though there is a himba village (with a guide you can contact) nearby.

Excellent welcome, delightful staff ; rooms are new, functional and airy.
Good value for money.
Dinner and breakfast were fine, not fussy.
Campsite area looked nice.
There's a waterhole illuminated at night, with a dramatic viewing platform.

After cutting short Uis (camp), we wanted to get closer to Etosha for a reasonable price.
We were the only ones in the bush lodge that night. The room was great, quiet, clean with place to park the car. The small patio allowed us to cook (we were self-sufficient).
They have a great viewing area to a small waterhole, worth having a drink at.
Breakfast is simple.
As we were the only ones in the whole area, we felt we were importunating them. (Note: they were always polite)

Sofia was amazing, it was a last minute booking and we only arrived at 20h30ish and we still managed to have dinner
Sofia iand the other staff are professional, and their level of service is commendable
Nothing that we did not like...

Again a good stopover on our way north to Epupa Falls. Nice pool area and deck over waterhole. A very pleasant eland stroganoff for dinner. Bar was not very well stocked unless you like jagermeister!!!!

We had a one night stay here before entering Etosha National Park. Reasonable prices, comfortable room and only 40mins drive to the western gate of the park. We had a decent meal (set menu and price) in the restaurant and the included breakfast was decent. Overall a pleasant stay considering we were using it as a stop on our way to Etosha.
We were not informed during check in that you need to put wood in the shower boiler outside the room if you want a hot shower. This should be communicated to guests on arrival. Bar closed up quite early (as soon as we had had our last bite of dessert) without an offer of last drinks. Staff communication to guests could be improved.

We had dinner, breakfast, and lunch at the lodge. Both food and service were great.

Close to Etosha western gate.
Rooms were very hot with no A/C and only 1 ceiling fan in the room that doesn't cover it all.

Beautiful setting, quirky accommodation, great staff and excellent service. Food was excellent. Highly recommended.
We forgot to close the windows at night, our own fault as there are nets at the windows and we forgot, so we were really cold during the night. Just something to note for other travellers about the drop in temperature.
