Damp on walls particularly bathroom.
Parking although stipulated prior it was an issue and if you moved
The property was basic but the river view was lovely
The road at the front is extremely busy and noisy
4.2
close to amenities and superb views from the back of the cottage
the road the property is on can be a bit noisy and windows at the front don’t provide much sound insulation. But not a big issue

cozy and very clean. location excellent.
not one thing

Perfect location for exploring Wetherby. Great view, nice riverside walks from the doorstep. Busy road at the front but the main bedroom was quiet. Only a short walk to the excellent Mews pub.
Parking was tricky: we were only lucky once with the free spaces over the way, but in actual fact the big car park at the riverside is only a five minute walk away so that was no big deal once we had done the main unloading.

The location is excellent, close to all amenities.
The cottage has an amazing view over the river from the lounge and the main bedroom.

The property is fitted with a door code which made key-less entry and exit really handy for us all.
The property is in a great location, just minutes from the town centre and the most amazing views from the back of the property - we had our dog with us and the walks (The Ings) again, just minutes away, were excellent - the hosts provided bowls for our pooch even though we didn't actually need them, this is a nice touch.
The kitchen is well stocked with plenty of crockery/cutlery and essential short stay supplies provided - even a Nespresso coffee machine with a few coffee pods!
The main bedroom was comfortable with good pillows and lovely crisp white bedding and bedspread - the main bedroom has plenty of wardrobe/free standing drawer space. The smaller bedroom was less comfy and perhaps more suited to younger children.
Our stay coincided with very cold weather snap but the property was cosy warm and has lovely gas fire for back up.
The parking is an issue but we received warning of this with lots of information on best places to park both free and chargeable and something you must expected in this small town at most times of the year - we always managed to find free car parking spaces just few minutes walk away.
I'm afraid we did experience some issues with cleanliness of the property, one which I raised immediately as I felt it was most unacceptable and received an apologetic message back very quickly. However, I do feel that the property needs some attention to bring it up to a better standard e.g. The curtains need some updating (not running on the curtain tracks well in either the living room or main bedroom), there are concerning black damp issues in the small bedroom towards the ceiling, the bathroom needs some attention to the bath panel and free standing accessories as showing signs of age. The kitchen cooker hood requires good clean and the garden would benefit from a thorough tidy up as the leaves that gathered on the terrace hid the evidence of previous dogs that had stayed - I always clean up after my dog but don't expect to clean up after others - I felt I had to in case someone thought it was my dog!

nice views from property. easy walk onto the town.

the view!!!!!
there was one huge issue which unfortunately made our stay uncomfortable, this wasn’t rectifiable however we did receive a refund. I’m sure more *could* have been done to sort the issue but it was our wedding weekend, so we just left it as was- I would 100000% expect this will be sorted for the next guests.

Comfortable and in a location that is both convenient and highly picturesque.
Quite noisy Road early in the morning, but that’s not really the cottage’s fault!

I bathroom between 6 is a challenge and the bed settee was uncomfortable

It was a cottage not b&b.
The narrow pavement and constant traffic to the front but that was the kitchen. The back of the cottage with living area and main bedroom was quiet with stunning views. A welcome pack would have been nice. After 5hrs travelling we had to go out and find milk.
4.2
good value short stay with great central location in town. lovely views at rear
little noisy road traffic. but to be expected from a town centre location
4.2
Great location. Walking distance to the town centre and a variety of cafes, restaurants and bars. The cottage had a lovely garden right on the riverbank and a lovely view from the main bedroom. Well equipped kitchen with coffee machine and large fridge and freezer. The hosts were very amenable and quick to respond to messages.
The shower was not very powerful.

perfect location for our needs, attending my nephews wedding nearby and
lack of parking is not ideal, bit of a lottery finding street parking nearby, managed to find a space at 9pm on Friday, could have caused problems the next day if I’d been unsuccessful

Excellent location, lovely views, very comfortable and ideal base to explore Yorkshire

Loved the views over the river.
Loved the proximity to the town.
Parking is the only issue.
We had to go around and around.
Very happy with the help and info received from the hosts on this subject.

Appreciated the extras you provided and welcome box. Really appreciated the personal message and wine.
Could do with a mat on bottom of the bath. A bit precarious when wet.
4.2
it is a great location, great value for money, spacious enough
no parking and the beds are a little uncomfortable

Location and views. Comfortable beds
Cobwebs hanging from ceilings, broken shower rest and musty smell on entry. Patio area and facilities dirty.

Great location for the village and exploring. Very comfortable and wonderful view. Good facilities and everything you need. Yes, it’s on a busy road and it has no parking but we experienced no issues and the cottage provides excellent value for money and we’d happily recommend
