The check in was great - staff member was very professional and friendly. The room was comfortable and very clean. Great breakfast!!
Noisy early morning due to workmen in the car park however this is temporary whilst some refurbishment works are being done.

We had a one night stay here and we absolutely loved it. The room was beautiful and very comfy. We had a lovely meal and breakfast both of which were amazing.
Parking was easy the car park was full but we were able to park in the square opposite the hotel for free.
Staff were so friendly and happy at all times, we had a great night and will definitely be back.😊

Food was excellent - so glad we pre-booked, as it was busy.

Breakfast was very good and well presented
I would have liked some fresh fruit as an option. I was not happy with the waitress on Thursday morning who chewed gum very obviously during service

Very convenient location. Lovely characterful pub. Friendly staff.
We were in room 14 on the ground floor, which was handy but could do with a bit of soundproofing as you could clearly hear people talking while leaving out of the back door. Staff need to be aware when leaving/arriving that people may be trying to sleep.
Also there was shampoo supplied but no conditioner.

Lovely room, well decorated, comfortable bed and good layout. Bathroom was modern and comfortable too. We also have a really lovely dinner - the manager recommended the steak and it was delicious.
We did have to wait to check in - we'd arrived early in evening service for the pub and there were loads of staff around but none who could actually show us to our room. To be fair, the staff we spoke to were charming and apologetic about the wait.

Breakfast and dinner were good once we requested to be in the main restaurant
Being put in a dingy side room for dinner. Banging fire doors at night

Our room was lovely, overlooking the Market Square
Staff friendly. Food excellent.
Would advise that if you plan to dine in the evening, you should book asap, as is very popular and gets busy. We were disappointed that we couldn't get a table for Sunday.

Comfortable rooms, beautifully furnished and decorated with clean and modern en-suite bathroom.
Nice selection of complimentary drinks.
Friendly and helpful staff.
I ate dinner in the dining room and it was absolutely delicious.
There was plenty of choice for the inclusive cooked breakfast including Full English. I chose Cinnamon French toast as I only wanted something smaller. This is such a minor criticism because it was delicious and really well (freshly) made but it came on the plate with nothing else. No fruit (garnish) or syrup. Just 2 slices of French toast. So as delicious as it was, I didn’t finish it as it was a bit monotonous.

The staff were great, great location lovely village. Breakfast was one of the best I have had.
We were made to wait in a packed pub for over 20 minutes when we arrived. Bed was a bit soft and lights flickered quite a lot.

How cold the room was as the heating appeared to go off quite early

Pub was great with a good atmosphere. Breakfast was awesome.
When we arrived they had messed up the booking and had to hurriedly find us a room. We were stood around for about 30 mins while they sorted it out. No offer of a drink while we waited.
Room was below average for the star rating. Old darkwoood furniture, no WiFi code and local info. Bouncy bed. I guess they put us in room that was not normally used.
