Exceptional

The hotel is beautiful and rooms are exceptional. I loved everything about everything staying at Zuri. The pool its really nice with access to the most beautiful beach in Zanzibar.

Food can be better.

Un paradis sur terre

L’emplacement, la décoration, le service les bungalows, la piscine, bref à peu près tout n’est que luxe et volupté.

Le restaurant buffet du soir qui n’est pas à la hauteur du reste: thèmes indien ou asiatique pas à la hauteur de la cuisine de ces pays. En demi pension c’est ennuyeux, car les autres restaurants sont bookés sur 2 jours. Mais c’est oublié par la qualité de l’accueil et des attentions permanentes des équipes. J’écris cela pour humblement les aider à s’améliorer.

Incredible hotel, friendly staff and great place to relax

Incredible property, with stunning beach, the food was delicious and the majority of the staff incredibly friendly. Low tide was never a problem during our stay - big plus! The security at the beach ensured that the people selling goods on the beach keep a distance, however people do interact daily and want to sell their products.

Any activity that the hotel offered (e.g. diving, massages, airport shuttle etc) are totally overpriced… particularly considering that the people at the beach sell the same thing for a third of the hotel price.

Excellent, would strongly recommend

Beautiful maintained premises and grounds, excellent f&b, extremely friendly and welcoming team made us feel at home, excellent activity timetable with sports, music and other activities including daily yoga to get involved with. Finally very comfortable, well proportioned room inside and outside with a sizeable deck with a hammock.

Evening dinner is included, the a la carte in maisha was excellent. The buffet in unendo was hit and miss. Personally I’d prefer B&b rate and 2 a la carte restaurants to choose from.

The best choice on Kendwa beach

-Friendly staff -Best location on the beach, which were kept clean -Comfortable beachbeds and being provided with a bottle of cold water —Varied entertainmentprogram and sundowners on the beach, with bonfire, delicious cocktails and comfortable seating on the sand -The room was wonderfully decorated and has high comfort. I especially liked the spaciousness (terrace has also a hammock for two) and the second shower, which was outdoors -Guards on the beach, so you are not bothered bu vendors -Varied menu’s with ample selection -The landscaping

All in all this is the best hotel in Zanzibar!!

Zuri is Majestic! The location is the best. The smiles on the hard working staff is what impressed me most! I am fond of flora I Could identify many unique trees and spices! They even have senna leaves😂!! The manager came to greet our family and we expressed her our high appreciation!! Ps they have oatmeal for breakfast which I really liked!! Very worthy hotel!!

I didn’t like that they don’t have espresso machine with pods in the room! For people with disabilities this hotel has many stairs!

We enjoyed our time at Zuri and would recommend it to others

Location is amazing, staff are wonderful and all the facilities are exactly as described and do not disappoint, each bungalow has a very private feel, the whole place is small so never feels crowded, the restaurant food is excellent although the beachside offering could be better - the private beach is well managed and maintained

Noise from adjoining hotels was very loud at times at night, the description of the hotel does not mention how close the neighbouring properties are, also we booked a private snorkelling trip through the hotel which was quite disappointing and not really good value compared to what could be

Was perfect. Rooms, resort options and people were really good.

Wonderful experience. Hotel beach area was great, pool was a good size (33m). All staff were friendly and helpful. The resort was a good size to walk around and experience nature. The facility management were constantly making sure everything was perfect and nothing was broken. We only ate at the buffet restaurant every night as the changes each day was good for us. Gym was good. Night entertainment was also very good and well thought about.

Distance from the airport is about 1hr 20mins. Otherwise the resort itself nothing to say anything negative.

Amzing stay for our honeymoon

Everything about Zuri was amazing, the rooms, the restaurants, the beach, the facilities, everything was great. But the cherry on top for us was their high sustainability standards, which were a real plus.

The only thing that Zuri could not control was the wheather, as it rained quite a lot, so there is absolutely nothing that we didn't like about Zuri itself.
