The house and view was amazing! There is nothing better than being right on the water. We enjoyed all of nature’s scenery. The house was amazing! So comfortable. We look forward to booking another stay next year!

We loved our stay at the retreat, beautiful views and very clean which we loved. It felt very cozy, inviting and the kitchen was fully stocked. The rooms each had their own heat/ac which we really appreciated.

We've stayed here a couple of times and love the house and the location. Beautiful view, a great trail for running or walking just down the street and everything you could need for your stay in terms of kitchen equipment, beach towels, etc. Property owners responded quickly when we reached out with questions. Highly recommend.

If I could give this listing more than 5 stars I certainly would. Amazing views, super clean and the kitchen utensils were nice, not like someone’s leftovers when they purchased new stuff. The place was just perfect! Muah! Chefs kiss!

We could have stayed here for days! Picture perfect! We loved everything about this home and our stay. Perfect end to our whirlwind trip to decompress before heading home. Clean, beautiful location and views, quiet and just amazing. Highly recommend!

Beautiful setting along the beach… very comfortable great room, bedrooms and an amazing bathroom. Close to Oak Harbor restaurants and stores. Was just perfect for our family gathering!

The West Beach Retreat was a perfect pick for a long ladies get-away weekend. The accommodations are clean and welcoming, exactly as described, maybe even a little better than described as it would be hard to articulate the special location of this home. Squeezed between ocean and a small lake, and within walking distance of a great park - you feel like you are a world away, but in reality the conveniences of town are a quick 10 min drive down the road. Crashing waves, beautiful views, sunrises and sunsets, all in a well equipped and comfortable space. There was literally nothing we were lacking while here. Needless to say, our trip wasn’t even half over with and mom was asking how soon we could bring her back again to stay!

Our stay in March was lovely. The property is in a nice location on the island with beautiful views. We ended up sleeping in the room that faces the water and it was a lovely way to wake up and the bed was very comfortable. Would stay again.

The house was wonderful, very clean and had everything you could need for cooking and just relaxing around the house. The view is incredible. Close to services. Owners were great as well. I emailed them a couple of questions before our stay and they responded within a few hours both times.

The house is beautiful and exactly what we were after! When we visit Whidbey Island, multiple times a year, we are always looking for west beach, ocean views/front bc…we are sunset ppl and my soul is at peace with the sound of the waves! This house was JUST THAT! It was clean and the ocean breeze was perfect! We have an amazing view and even felt ocean spray from time to time! There was a terrible wind storm when we visited and much of the island was out of electricity for hours, even houses around us. Our house never lost power but there was a clear plan/power outage package available to us if there was! We will likely utilize this house again if it’s just my husband and myself or maybe another couple. We often bring our kids and choose a large space then! But this is perfect for a quick little get away!

This is our 4th or 5th time staying at West Beach retreat. We come back because we love the views, sunsets, roaring waves at high tide, walks on the beach at low tide and chill beach house that fits our family of 4 perfectly (daughters 16 and 20) Great place to relax. This was our 4th year in a row at this property. It's so comfortable and the views so gorgeous that you don't feel guilty for sitting around and doing absolutely nothing else during your vacation. This year we got lucky and were able to enjoy an afternoon rainstorm and a double rainbow after. We also saw heron which we hadn't seen before. I highly recommend staying at West Beach Retreat.

Third time staying here, still amazing

This house makes me so happy and relaxed. Walking into the cute entrance and taking my shoes off. Then the big reveal as you go down the hall into the living area, and the water is right there! The water is so close it's like being on a boat but no seasickness. Doesn't matter what the weather is doing, it's just nice to sit and look out the windows. I should also mention that the kitchen and bathroom and fireplace are amazing. Plus the birds love to hang out very nearby (on the pond side of the house) and you can hear them singing all day. We will definitely be back for a fourth visit.

Amazing to wake up to the sounds of the ocean and beautiful views and then to relax and enjoy the sunset. Our daughter loved exploring the beach and looking up at the stars. Communication was great and owner was responsive to questions. House was stocked well and the the basket of snacks and bottle of wine was a nice welcome. Would definitely come again!

This house was perfect in every way from the view to the comfort. The owners have to left a anything out to make our stay amazing. Thank you for the wine and snacks. Those small touches are a great way to start a stay. This is a beautiful home and a lovely staycation. The sunsets are breath taking. We will definitely be back. This home was so accommodating, our small group of friends including a baby had a great time. We got snuggly by the fireplace in the evening and watched a beautiful sunrise in the early morning. Got to see bald eagles and other sea birds. What a unique property to have water on both sides of the home. A great stay for families and friends.

This is the 3rd Christmas on Whidbey Island and the 2nd at this property. One can hear the waves 24/7 along with the seagulls. High winds had waves crashing over the deck and against the house. Very exciting! The next day it snowed ~4". If drifting off to sleep to the sound of waves is appealing to you, I recommend this rental home.

Amazing waterfront, the space is beautiful and comfortable. Loved the tiny holiday tree, so festive and perfect. THANK YOU for providing such a plethora of pantry items! I had forgot to pick up coffee the first night, it was so wonderful to have the basics. This place because it is absolutely perfect in every way.
