excellent location for our preferred excursions

It was very peaceful. No noise to be heard from other rooms. We used nearby places to eat, did not choose take away deliveries. Will visit again for a longer stay and recommend to friends and family.

Enjoyable break , gorgeous views.

Brilliant views and great position for other amenities. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The lift was broken and I have mobility issues so struggled with the stairs. Property does still need some updating.

No Heating, No Hot Water on a Winter's Night...

The views from the room and the nearness of being able to walk to the beach

Had no heating and no hot water after driving six hours from London and when we called provided numbers, there was no answer or assistance, so spent the night in a freezing, beachfront room. Our stay was 26 Nov 2022.

Great stay with fabulous scenery close by combined with dog friendly pubs not to far away.

Great location close to the beach which was perfect for us and our dog, access to dining room to eat our own food was helpful as well.

to be honest we got what we expected and as such there was nothing to dislike.

Lovely hotel. Like the freedom of coming and going. Keys left in the entrance for us. Rooms spacious and clean

Clean, great room with good view, good facilities. Overall a great stay. Would recommend and definitely stay again!

Radiator or toilet leaking resulting in bathroom floor becoming wet in places,slightly unpleasant when stood in when didn't see.

could of done with more than half of toilet roll for a two night stay but found some in the shared bathroom 😁

Short break for walkers near Wasdale

Great location for Ennerdale and Wasdale. Loved the Fidz bakery - lovely breakfast things and pasties for walking trips

Nice place to stay.

Really enjoyed our stay at Bailey Ground Lodge. Our room was clean and had a small fridge for milk ect. Alan was available every morning if you needed anything, teabags,towels ect. Seascale is a lovely place to visit. Another hotel down the road just a few yards away with bar,music,food. Train station 5 minutes walk away.

The door to leave

There was no one there to great, there was no hot water to shower or was, tried ringing hotel many times no response, a constant banging from the outside which kept us a wake both nights very poor example of a hotel, would definitely not recommend staying there to anyone.

The room was spacious and comfortable, with comfortable beds and good wifi. The room was clean with sufficient storage facilities

As we were travelling for work we missed not being able to have breakfast on site. I also prefer the room being serviced daily.

Superb

The sea view was lovely, the bed was really big and comfy. The room was very clean and there was plenty of draws and hanging space for clothes. Bathroom was very clean and soap and shower gels supplied which was nice.

Wasn't keen of the fridge on top of the dressing table, made it a little bit dark in that corner for doing my hair. Although the fridge was good for keeping drinks cold.

The view was amazing, beds were comfortable

As it’s. not maned we stayed for 2 nights but not enough beverage left. If your coming here I’d say bring tea coffee sugar and milk

Good value for money

Shower was excellent. Great size room. Strong WiFi. Large size TV.

No breakfast. Bedsheet on fold out bed was ripped. Lights in room need updating (warm LED lamps would make the world if difference). Carpets were tatty and in need of renewal.
