The location of the hotel right on the seafront was lovely. There’s a large car park with Tesla charging points. The rooms were more traditional looking but there was enough room and the beds were comfy. The staff were all very pleasant. The dinner there was delicious really tasty and very good sized portions. I had the steak which came with chips, coleslaw, salad and onion rings.
Only that it could be modernised.

No lift available
The weather could have been kinder 😂

Didn't ask about room service

Breakfast starts from 6 am and you can pre-order so it is ready at that time if you require it. Very handy for main car park (and bus pick up/drop off to/from Sellafield) so very handy for work trips. Staff were all very friendly and helpful.
Nothing, for the price, very good value.

Nice room, great views, great meals and a breakfast for a king.

The food was delicious. The staff were excellent-professional and friendly.
The view of the sea was glorious.
Very kind to our little dog, offered her sausage in the morning.
The room needed refreshing. A lick of paint etc.
Only one bath towel provided. They were quick to sort once reported.
The first day our room wasnt serviced. Staff apologised when reported.
I feel it would have been nice for the hotel to acknowledge that we were on our honeymoon.

Doesn’t look too great from the outside but was clean and comfortable. The staff were more than nice and the food at night was exceptional.
The car park gives a bad impression which is a shame.Harder to find if you are going towards Drigg.

The coast was lovely
The hotel was very dated the carpet in the room was badly stained cracks in ceiling paintwork dirty only one member of staff.

Huge spacious rooms with every comfort. The fastest wifi of our whole holiday, out of ten other accommodation venues! Delicious breakfast, very efficiently run hotel. Such easy access to our room. Friendly helpful staff. Lovely walks on the promenade and the expansive beach. Would recommend to everyone. Certainly will return.
Not one thing!

Our expectations were not high when we boo ked at the last minute but hotel exceeded our expectations. Sea shore is next to the hotel. Breakfast which was included in the price was good and hot. You have to write and leave beforehand as what you want night before. Overall will visit again and stay here if visiting Lake district again, although it is slightly away.

Not very much
We arrived in Seascale in the middle of a heatwave. We entered the hotel and found an envelope with the room key in, no staff. We went to the room, south facing, the window and curtains were wide open and the temperature must have been 40-50 degrees inside. There was no way to cool this down so we spent most of the evening on a picnic bench across the road. When we eventually went in to go to bed there was no way you could sleep in that heat. The room itself was reasonably clean but well worn. There was some black mould in the silicon around the bath, the extractor did not work and the mdf toilet seat was worn and chipped. The breakfast was well enough cooked but with cheap end ingredients, sausages for example were obviously supermarket frozen value range. The hotel seems to be used as a bunkhouse for workers from nearby Sellafied as as far as I could tell they were the only other guests. In the time we were there we met only one staff member and that was the girl cooking breakfast so there was no point in complaining to her. We were booked in for two nights but left, tired and irratated, after the first

Were really pleased we found the Bailey Ground and Seascale. Really affordable and good availability compared to the Lakes but there is gorgeous coastal walking (train connections work well for that) and we also had a great hill walk in Eskdale via the Ravenglass heritage railway. Clean and comfortable room and really good breakfast.
