Lovely welcome 🤗 b reception, room was a good size. Nice that the water is topped up daily and a restock of tea and coffee.
The wait time for breakfast think this could be managed better. Maybe not a problem if on a break but if working and need to be on the road it isn’t the fastest.

Friendly staff, good food.
Bathroom needed a little bit more attention to detail

We couldn't find fault with any of it.

My room was spacious & even included a fridge. Breakfast was lovely, on the first morning I had the full English with a couple of exceptions, proper sausages & very nice bacon, the second morning I asked for sausages, bacon & 2 slices of bread to make a bacon buttie. Nothing was too much trouble, even though Vicky on Sunday was rushed off her feet. I had an evening meal on the first night which was very tasty, wine was a little expensive but very enjoyable
On the first morning one of the staff started hoovering while I was still eating my breakfast, not very near me, but nonetheless I wouldn't expect that, a few more minutes waiting wouldn't have hurt.

Everything, staff were lovely. Communication before we arrived, perfect. Arrived late, they checked on us, warm welcome after a long and horrid drive from London (torrential rain). Room, clean, warm, cosy, comfy bed, lovely tea, coffee, chocolate and biscuits, and fridge with water. Breakfast divine, we had dinner too with some friends, couldn't have been better. Great range of non alcoholic drinks, which cheered my Dad up no end. Had a lovely stay,y parents stayed before, they used to live in Long Stratton so perfect for visiting old friends. Thanks to the lovely team who looked after us this weekend. Claire, Khurram, Sue and Ray (rms 10/11)
Err..... thinking.... that we couldn't stay longer?

Breakfast was really very tasty and you could choose to have half full English which is such a good idea. Fantastic coffee.
Our bed was very comfortable and clean and the towels were lovely and large, white and fluffy.
We stayed in Room 10 which has very limited headroom in parts and the bathroom is very tired. The hose to the shower is rusted up and needs urgent replacement. Single glazing is a blast from the past as were separate taps on the bathroom sink! We did find a rogue pair of socks in the spare blanket drawer.

The location was perfect for me as my brother & sister in law have moved to Norfolk.
The old Ram is very close.
We had a family evening meal which was excellent, breakfast was also wonderful.

four poster bed awesome; loved the open fire and the traditional feel of the place. We are regular returners who enjoy the moments out of time when we can just take a breath and have a deep relax.

Really lovely pub-place. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Food was excellent. Bed super comfortable. Would definitely recommend.
Located on a main route to Norwich, which is quite busy, so if you are a light sleeper I would recommend a room at the back.

we had room number 5 and you had to climb stairs to get to the bedroom area, both being in our mid seventies we found it hard carrying luggage up the stairs;we also had trouble opening the room door and had to ask for help.
