It is huge for three people. beautiful living room with a huge kitchen. Nice location. Nice rooms on the ground floor.
There was a sticky patch on the stairs top. hairdryers have dirty scratches. Ground floor toilet basin is really small. No space to put a lot of things. Stairs are a bit high for my mother

Room was immaculate. The staff here went above and beyond the help and accommodate us, Hiromi was so friendly showing us around town also took us to the shopping centre free of charge even offered to pick us up from the mountains after snowboarding. Felt like they really cared and had great conversations

If there had been snow, the location would have been excellent. The lodging was cozy, spacious, and relaxing. We ended up spending a lot of time inside, since it was rainy, and we didn't get to ski as much as originally hoped. We were conveniently able to get rides from the staff to go to the market, and get to/from the bus station.
This is not a negative comment about Zen Chelets. But Hakuba experienced an early spring, which derailed our skiing plans. We skied for one day in wet conditions at Happo One, and decided to go on a Snow Monkey tour, which was excellent.

I loved the floor plan it was so practical . I also loved how close it was to restaurants and bars . You could really tell that the owners put a lot of thought into this location proving snacks and coffee.
The drive up the road was incredibly steep .

Very quiet
The pans were dirty

The chalets were very cosy and the size was just right for groups. Mick and Sarah have been very accommodating and very quick to respond to my inquiries.
The layout of the kitchen table could've been done better to make it easier for those staying at the loft to access the staircase but apart from that it was exceptional.

This accommodation is excellent. We stayed in the Mountainside chalet and were very comfortable with 2 adults and 3 children. Mick, the owner, and his staff were awesome, helpful and extremely accessible for the duration of our stay. There is attention to detail at this site. We will be back.
Our kids didn't want to leave

Cosy and warm cabin. Beds were comfy and cabin was quiet and relaxing. All services were within walking distance
Steep driveway made getting ina nd out difficult, especially in the heavy snow. Ski bus was a 10 minute walk.

layout, space, modern, well equipped, comfortable.
great attendance for pick up, drop off at bus station + driving us and waiting at supermarket 👍 also they accommodated for early check in and out based on the rest of their booking which was super helpful.
located nearby Happo gondola and Kokusai lift yet walking access is difficult. steep slope to get there. recommend to have a car / plan transport or best to walk through the small path to head to the gondola.

The Chalet and the very friendly and helpful staffs. Thank you very much…

The cabin we stayed in was very comfortable for our family of 4. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was small, yet accommodated all of our cooking needs. They even provided coffee for the French coffee press that was provided. The best feature was the western style clothing dryer above the washing machine. We have young children and it made washing and drying clothes so easy! We loved the Apple TV and access to Netflix.
On very snowy days it seemed difficult to drive down the steep path to the cabins/chalets even with snow tires. We watched several cars and SUVs slip down the path and get stuck. I’m not sure of their tires, but we had snow tires and we still managed to slip down the path for a few seconds and then gain control. The 2 other cars that got stuck prevented us from driving back out to a restaurant that night on New Years Eve. All taxis were full too. That wasn’t fun.
The heater in the Mountainside cabin turns off every 6 hours. It was a safety feature, but still made us get up in the middle of the night to restart it. If we didn’t we would freeze.

The location is great and the house is very clean and neat. Our 3 kids totally love the house.

Short walk to the gondola station (but not ski in-ski out), friendly staff, ski school not far. Comfortable beds for the family
Kitchen a bit too small, but ok for breakfasts for the family. For dinners, there are plenty of great places in Hakuba

Wonderful place! The house is well-equipped and the decoration is really nice. It’s convenient because very close to the slopes and the ski school for kids.
Quite far away from the supermarkets but the manager nicely drove us to the supermarket when needed.

We were pleasantly surprised with a bottle of wine, a loaf of bread and milk in the fridge. Well thought through design, and pleasant. Was able to play video flawlessly through apple tv.
The road down to the villas could be re-finished. The hill is just steep enough, that if it got icy you better have 4wd or chains to get out.
