The cottage was perfect for the two of us, Toshi is an amazing host, very kind and helpful. Excellent customer service. Great location close to Happo-one ski resort or shuttle service to other locations.

The cottage was absolutely perfect. It is the perfect distance from both town and the slopes with multiple resorts within 15 minutes shuttle. We are a family of 5 including a 9 year old and it was a perfect size, cooking facilities are limited but it's enough. Toshi is the most amazing host, always on standby ready to take you to town, shopping, restaurants, rental shops or the slopes. Nothing is too hard or too much. We will definitely be back and Toshi is the main reason.

My family love this cottage so much. The room was clean and comfortable. From beginning to end, Mr. Toshi was a perfect host. You must stay here when you visit Hakuba.

It was a very comfortable cottage for two families of 4. It was plenty warm and the staff was friendly. The location was also great as it is in close proximity to all the ski hills, onsen and some good restaurants.
The kitchen was functional but the counter space was quite limited. A more detailed explanation/pictures of what is available to use for cooking would have been helpful before arriving at the property.

Cozy cottage, with all amenities including a functioning kitchen. Fabulous hospitality by Manager Toshi and his wife- nothing is too much trouble. We would recommend this place to anyone visiting Hakuba.
We loved everything

Excellent wood cottage - well appointed and very cosy with the underfloor heating...kids lived playing in the snow outside!
Difficult to organise dinner as all restaurants were fully booked and dinner at Epoch required booking a week in advance...

Well equipped cottage - good heating (also has a nice fireplace!), kitchen to cook meals, comfortable beds and living/dining areas.
Better if the cottage has its own the recycling and refuse bins.

Quiet place to rest after skiing. Great onsen onsite.

Perfect Location! Hosts were extremely nice and welcoming. They offered unscheduled pickup and drop off which made us tourists, whom are unfamiliar with the area, feel extremely welcomed!

Located super close to the Ski Resort. The Staff were a husband and wife couple who went out of the way to make sure we were happy. They provided free shuttle and assistance with renting ski gear and even got us signed up for lessons. I can't say enough about how wonderful it was to stay there.
They have a private onsen that my wife hasn't stopped complimenting.
Will highly recommend this to my friends. Will stay there again.
Nothing. It was just and ideal location.

Manager responded to questions and requests quickly, and provided helpful safety and activity advice.
Included plenty of firewood and starter for the fireplace. The rooms are comfortable and warm even on snowy nights.
The cabin bathroom is cozy and very clean, but by reserving the day before for an additional ¥2500, we enjoyed the on-site private onsen for an hour — there were big doors that opened to the snow, perfect for up to five people.
Due to COVID prevention, when we went they were unable to take reservations for on-site meals, so if that’s important to you, please contact the manager before you make your lodging reservation.
In the Cottage, dishes, cooking ware, coffee grounds and tea bags are provided, but there’s no sugar or cream, salt, pepper, shoyu, oil, foil or plastic wrap — so if you plan to cook, bring your supplies with you or ask the manager in advance if it is supplied. There is plenty of room in the refrigerator/freezer.
During the winter the mini trains and train museum is closed - it is something to look forward to when the snow is gone!
