スタッフの対応がとてもフレンドリー

Location 10mins walk from Echoland.
The staff spoke very good English.
German style hotel but we had to take shoes off at the entrance and take up and down my other shoes. Breakfast was only from 7:15 to 8:30. Furniture and amenities are very old and toilet was smelly. Paid around 19000¥ for a single room.

very friendly staff, excellent location to ski fields and restaurants. The Onsen has a beautiful view

Inside and outside Onsen (Rotenburo)
Several places to eat in the vicinity.
Only short walk to the nearest skilift.
The staff could be friendlier (compared to general friendliness in Japan), the place clearly has seen it's better days, i.e. rather old. Restaurant not open on Saturday, also need to reserve for dinner in advance.

the water temperature in the bathroom was a bit flakey

Mama-san and her family were exceptional hosts. The staff were helpful, friendly and spoke English well. You can hire ski gear and buy tickets from the hotel. They have a wide range of event nights, like Japanese banquet, rice pounding, foot baths and 2hr happy hour every night. The outdoor onsen looks over the ski fields. Walk 2 min to lifts, 5 min to town.
Make sure to get the new model skis as the old ones are getting on.

Check in was really easy. Location was amazing. Short walk to Ski slopes. Enjoyed breakfast.
Taking off shoes at front door.

This hotel is value for money!
Walking distance to Nakiyama slope and snowland, and there is a shuttle bus stop just 3 minutes away from the property.
Room was spacious and comfortable.
Breakfast was good.

Location very close to lift, nice Onsen, helpful staff. Ski rental available directly from the hotel. Good value.
Rooms a little dated, breakfast a little limited in choice.

The beds size were king single so it was very relaxed. The room size was very generous.
A little bit cleaner would be perfect

delicious breakfast, great public bath

That it has a nice hot spring and location was good.
Breakfast. Our breakfasts was already in price. it was so poor!! Everytime we went to have breakfast, there almost wasn’t any left. Staff who worked there didn’t even care to fill the food up and serve the customer. More than that they were pretty unfriendly and unhelpful. Thy was so cold and even angry. This was very unpleasant experience. Just because we was a foreigners the staff didn’t do their job. If we were Japanese I’m pretty sure they would be nice and full up empty dishes with food. This is truly crazy and ruined our whole weekend! instead of nice relaxing weekend in snow we had a very bad stressful time because of the hotel kitchen staff.

I have a strong dust allergy which ruins many hotel stays for me. No problem here, very clean.
Helpful and friendly staff.

2nd year we stay here for winter break and perfect for our family as always.
The Onsen is so good :-)
Perhaps the breakfast time can be a bit longer?

The staff were all incredibly accommodating and helpful. The breakfast, location, snowboard storage, and onsen bath were great too. You can skip lines at the resort by purchasing lift tickets from the hotel, and the Nakiyama lift of Happo One is very close (3-5 minute walk).
The bathroom facilities in the rooms feel old and dated.
7.0
The staff were friendly and accommodating — always thoughtful and provided accurate information to my questions.
The facility is aging. Our rooms were comfortable but very basic — two beds, a closet, a tv, a small table. The onsen also functional but nothing special. A solid two-star hotel.

the parking was so bad the car was parked anyhow and if u want to go out was so difficult and the man who was cleaning the car park was so arrogant and use very bad Japanese words this kind of person should not wrk in the hotel I think .
there is a small river in the car parking and there was no indications and it was snowing a lot there
this is very important for customer security I think

1) really close to the kids park (which is the most inportant part for me and my family) and to the ski area.
2) They have all required equipment available to rent it so it was very convenient for us.
3) it is perfectly located.
4) Laundry / Drying was possible
5) Staff was amazingly friendly and willing to help with everything.
1) Price was a bit too high from my view point.
2) Although a bit of a high price, the usage of the onsen was charged separately (600 JPY) from all the hotels I've been at in japan, this was the first time I' asked to pay to use the onsen in the hotel...
3) Cleaning of your room is every two days (although you can ask for daily cleaning) which surprised me a bit that by default, it's not offered daily.
