It was our 1st visit to Heywood Spa and celebrated our wedding anniversary. It was clean comfortable and we had a couples massage in the spa which was excellent. We will definitely stay here again in the future.
There was nothing we disliked.

Designer interior. Very friendly & helpful staff. Absolutely gorgeous food in the restaurant too.
The Spa area was too chilly and tiles to the sides of the pool were very dirty/grubby

We have just spent 6 nights at Heywood Spa Hotel, which was our second visit after our initial trip to Tenby in March 2022.
The hotel is in a great location, about a mile (20 min walk) from the town so ample parking and far enough away from the crowds. There is a lovely indoor pool with indoor and outdoor hot tubs. Spa treatments are also offered.
Breakfast is very good with good variety of continental and hot options plus juices and tea/coffee.
We had an executive room, these are spacious with a lovely patio or balcony area.
The staff are all lovely, special mention to Mandy on reception who was extremely friendly and helpful, always greeting us with a smile and interest in our day and providing excellent advice on walks, excursions etc. Ask her about the lovely Bosherston Ponds/coastal path walk!
The mattresses are well used and the double bed consists of two singles locked together and covered with a topper, which ordinarily would be fine but due to the dips in the single mattresses, there is a ridge in the centre of the bed and dips on either side. There is also not enough storage; one small wardrobe and a couple of shelves, fine for a night or 2 but not enough for longer stays.
Massage advertised as 45 mins but was only 35.
Outdoor hot tub needs more regular cleaning; residue in the water.

Hotel very convenient to Tenby.
Room very clean and comfortable.
All staff very friendly, helpful.
Food and facilities excellent.
4.5
Staff were friendly, Facilities were great, lovely spa and pool where you booked a timeslot so was less busy which was really nice.
Gluten free bread catered for with the breakfast.
The one size fits all robes and slippers were too small for me and too big for my girlfriend. I'd rather have not had them in the room.
The TV wasn't a smart TV so could only watch basic channels, for the executive suite I'd have expected at least this as a minimum.
The extra large double bed was 2x single beds pushed together so had an annoying lump in the middle.
Breakfast felt like it was a chore for the staff to make you items off the menu, full English including 1 bacon, 1 sausage, 1 egg, 1 of everything where it would have been better to ask what exactly you'd like.
They also had GF bread which was a bonus.

Everything , room Breakfast were excellent .
We also thought the swimming pool was superb.
Only thing that let the hotel down was the showers both in the men’s changing rooms difficult to turn on or off .
In room 208 shower head doesn’t really allow water to come out !

The room was large and well fitted. General cleanliness was excellent in all areas. The staff were friendly and efficient.
Wi-fi reception, particularly in room was poor.

Great choice of breakfast, loved scrambled eggs and smoked salmon
More modern shower, rather than shower in bath with shower curtain and bit of mouldy silicon, plus extra draw space in bedroom

Perfect location. The staff where AMAZING. Nothing was too much trouble.
Special shout out to Carmen on reception and the lovely Charlotte who owns the hair salon. They both helped make our stay special. I would highly recommend the salon. Charlotte did an amazing job with my hair.

Nice pool area and great views from the restaurant. The bed was very comfortable.
Our bath/shower/toilet area were in a small, dark, cupboard-like space a few steps down under our room and quite difficult to navigate in the middle of the night. The hotel restaurant hot breakfast was not up to standard, particularly for the price of the stay compared to many other places we have stayed on this trip. Some things not cooked enough, which was a health and safety issue. Extra hot lattes that were , at best, warm. The valet parking cost of 10 pound each time the car was retrieved that we were not informed of until checking out.

Everything was excellent: staff, food, room, drinks, location.

Enjoyed the pool and the spa treatments.

rooms very good. restaurant very good food and excellent choice. leisure area was good.
would have liked a fridge in the room.
initial email and welcome seemed to have lots of rules which was off putting - like choosing a time for breakfast, however almost all staff were extremely friendly and welcoming and very flexible after this initial encounter.

Location is great, only a short walk into Tenby. Quiet area so no noise during the night. Spa facilities great, only two other couples were using the spa during our slot so no overcrowding. Hotel is kept lovely, room was a really high standard. Staff were all friendly and we didn’t have to ask for anything. Robes and water waiting for us in the room. Good toiletries provided. Lovely gentleman taking care of us in the restaurant in the evening.
Breakfast was quite average, only one poached egg on the cooked breakfast, however evening meal in the night was well above average. It would’ve been a better experience if the restaurant staff weren’t constantly clearing/laying out other tables and waited to do this. Everything else about the stay was brilliant and I would definitely go back again.
