Absolutely loved it. Very comfy cottage in a great location. Very beautiful area. Fabulous enclosed gardens.
Our dogs had a great time. Owners friendly and helpful without being intrusive.
Spent 6 lovely nights here. It’s more like a home than a holiday cottage.
Would love to go back 💜
Absolutely nothing. Except we didn’t want to leave 😊

The location was great. It was away from everything. The garden had comfortable furniture to enjoy the great weather.
So peaceful.
Inside the cottage was perfect. Loved the fireplace and the snug room. Had everything we needed for our stay for 5 nights. We will definitely be returning.
Nothing. Our trip was perfect.

The location was beautiful and the cottage had everything we needed. We wanted a break away from the hustle and bustle to enjoy some time together as a family, and we got exactly that. Thanks again for a great stay. We hope to return again some time in the future.
Nothing we didn't like :)

lovely and clean with everything you need.
A little remote but that’s the beauty of this property
we had a great time but it’s pitch black after sunset
Just a note for pet owners the property is pet friendly
We paid extra for our two dogs but no pets were allowed upstairs this was a bit of an issue as our dogs go where we go

location and beautiful cottage
the cottage is listed as dog friendly but the owner was surprised we were coming with the dog and asked us to pay extra for the dog which was a surprise as it has not been mentioned at the website.

The house is set in a stunning location, and ideal if your looking to get away from everyone and just have your own space, the decor inside is tastefully done and is in keeping with the building, combining new and old together.
There was really any negatives, the only thing I would say on a windy day the main bedroom does become a little breezy but this is to be expected with the age and style of the building

The cottage is tastefully done with cozy deco and makes you feel really at home. Nice space and amazing atmosphere. The surrounding is so pleasant and awesome whne you wake up in the morning. The walks ard the cottage is refreshing. The cottage was well kept.. Clean and good with all the facilities. Wud highly recommend and great stay for a family.
Pls do come in before dark as it can be quite challenging to get to the cottage in the dark. The instruction shud be look for the red door on your left at the junction to the bridge on the right as if it's your first time, you wud t know how many bridges you wud be coming through 😉

Beautiful location down lanes, over cattle grids and through farm gates. (Easy to find but suggest arriving in daylight). Feels remote but 15mins from local facilities. Old stone cottage, clean and comfortable with plenty of room. Wifi good, mobile signal, obviously not. Lovely stream in the garden with sheep on the mountains all around. Quiet and perfect for starry nights. The scenery is stunning for walks. We really enjoyed our relaxing stay.
Nothing.

Everything! The location was perfect for a quiet break away from it all. Fantastic garden for the dogs, and us. Very well equipped cottage and clean. Comfortable bed and lovely bedroom, perfect for a good night's sleep. Clearly a lot of thought, care and love has gone into the cottage. It was a home from home. It was ideal, able to cater for our needs whether the sun was shining or if the weather wasn't so good.
That we had to leave :)
An extra £45 for 2 dogs (cleaning charge).

Apsolutely gorgeous cottage in a breathtaking location. We stayed here to celebrate our 6th Wedding Anniversary and enjoyed lots of long walks nearby. We spent the evenings in front of the log fire which was perfect. Jane was amazing with all the info needed and made us feel very welcome. We cant wait to come back! :)

The most perfect little cottage in the most perfect of locations. So homely and tastefully decorated inside, and the garden outside is beautiful with a little picnic bench by the stream. Fabulous. Wish we could have stayed longer.
There was really nothing not to like. It was a dream.

This is a lovely cottage with excellent facilities in a gorgeous location. It's pretty remote - about three miles down a mainly single track road but you wouldn't get the views without that.
It was excellent - no problems.

The location of the cottage is breathtaking. The space is well used and cosy. The kitchen is excellent.
We were there during a violent storm and a hole in the gable meant that the bedroom was extremely draughty.
