A hotel where you feel historic Turkey

Lovely hotel with many historical details. The shady courtyard garden was a soothing place to have breakfast. The owner's young daughters did a great job assisting with breakfast service, etc. The owners drove us to Ephesus and back again for free.

The owner was hoping to make extra money through restaurant referrals, purchases at his store, etc.

We loved this little hotel in a nice neighbourhood with its lovely courtyard and super-friendly host

Delightful hotel, beautiful situation, lovely patio, great views. The owner went out of his way to look after us, driving us to Ephesus free of charge and bringing forward breakfast so we could eat befoer we had to leave for our train.

Room was a little small, but it met our needs.

Exceptional

The staff were very friendly- they offered us homemade wine and fruit in the evening. Location was really good, walkable to downtown Selcuk and Temple of Artemis ruins. A quick drive to Ephesus ruins. Especially liked the art throughout the hotel and in the room. The towel animals were a nice touch!

Parking is on the street out front of the hotel and is a little tight.

Selcuk is a great town and location

Great location, an easy walk into a great little town and St John's Church museum on the hill. Highly recommend staying in Selcuk when going to Ephesus. Breakfast was served by very friendly people

Rooms were small and cold, and they wanted you to put used toilet paper in the bin rather than flush it. No tea and coffee in the room.

Excellent customer service They offer complimentary drop off to the ephesus archeological site. Nice breakfast. The owner arranged a real cheap transfer to Izmir airport

We missed having a refrigerator in the room We would have appreciated one to keep our insulin injections Also a coffee machine to make our own bed tea and coffee.

The hotel is familiar, beautiful, cozy and feels like you are at home. I like the surrounding area, very quiet but within walking distance of town. The attention of its owner, as well as the staff, are excellent. I would stay at the hotel again

Best place to stay in Selcuk

Nilya Hotel was a perfect place to stay. The decor is lovely, comfy rooms and the breakfast delicious. The staff couldn't have been more helpful- they took us to and from ephesus when we visited and also helped us arrange our onward travel. The location is perfect as walking distance to the sites in Selcuk (like church of St John) as well as restaurants and shops. Highly recommend staying here!

The owner and all staff are extremely friendly and helpful, the breakfast is great and the garden is really nice. I enjoyed my stay a lot and would definitely book this hotel again.

Very nice stay

Very nice, clean, little and pintoresque hotel. The owners took us to the Ephesus ruins, and to the house of Mary, which was very convenient. St. John is just 2 blocks away. The area of restaurants are close too. I had to cancel the first night due to bad weather at the IST airport and the hotel let me do that (very appreciated, indeed!). I recommend Nilya hotel to anyone visiting Selçuk.

Perfect location for seeing Ephesus

This is a perfectly located small hotel for seeing Ephesus and staying in Selcuk. Our rooms were clean and spacious, and the breakfast was excellent. The best part of our experience were the recommendations from the hotel's owner and the private tour he provided us with. He brought us to amazing sites and to restaurants with amazing food at bargain prices (no rip offs; just great food). Very friendly and helpful staff. Would highly recommend.

Lovely hotel in city centre

Nice views, fantastic breakfast and very cosy hotel. Very welcoming hosts.

It was freezing cold outside and instead of switching on the heaters, the hotel only used the hot air conditioning, which means we were quite cold that night.

Wonderful host made us feel welcome and made our stay complete. Great room, location and price.

Perfect location in a quaint town. Hotel owner was attentive. Staff excellent. Price was excellent. Room decor was traditional and fun. The owner went out of his way to provide a ride to nearby Ephesus and help guide us to local restaurants we might like. He owns a rug and art gallery in town which is also nice. We can't say enough about the way we were treated. Note that there are no TVs in rooms in case that matters to you.

it’s clean and quiet. close to the sight seeing spot and the railway station and a commercial street and Saturday market. the shower facility is very comfortable. the staff is friendly. good breakfast. I enjoyed the stay here. the garden is beautiful.

The staff, decor, breakfast and hospitality were all amazing! The free shuttle service to Ephesus was pretty convenient and they helped me buy a train ticket to Izmir which was not on the Turkish railway website. It was cheaper and a better connection than the bus ticket I had. I can’t thank enough for their kindness!

The property had an excellent location, it was just opposite the Esa Bey Mosque and St Johns Church. Food options were a short walk away. The hotel had a beautiful front courtyard and the room was really comfy. Breakfast was pretty good and freshly prepared. The caretaker of the property was really friendly and exceptionally helpful.

The best breakfast in Turkey. Beautiful room and hotel. Super friendly and helpful staff. Everything was clean. The balcony has a beautiful view of the mountains.
