A nice, not to big family owned hotel. Friendly people who make you feel welcome. Location perfect, just a short walk to a lot of restaurants. Good atmosphere, authentic and well maintained. Perfect breakfast, fresh and delicious. Parking space just 20 meters away from the hotel.

Hospitality is what you'll definitely get here. Very nice place!

A very charming boutique hotel in Selçuk in a small portion of the town just below St John the Baptist church ruins (easy walking distance). It is an owner run and maintained hotel, named after the owner’s spouse. The care for the hotel shows in the pristine look of the rooms. There is a courtyard in the entryway and charming woodwork throughout the hotel. The staff were outstanding. The hotel is very close to Ephesus and and other sites such as the House of Virgin Mary.
There was not anything to dislike.

Nice accommodations with a lovely breakfast. Burga gave our family an excellent tour of Ephesus and surrounding sites.

Bugra Can was a great host. From airport pickup to stay at Hotel Mary to drop off at the airport was perfect. Hotel is in close proximity (2-3min walk) to many restaurants in the area. The family suite was well setup and convenient for our family of 5. Bugra is also a great tour guide for local exploration. The breakfast spread was amazing and personal (not a buffet) for each table.

We had an incredible experience staying at Hotel Mary's House in Selcuk, Turkey. This family-owned hotel surpassed all our expectations in every aspect.
Firstly, the breakfast served at the hotel was absolutely delicious. The wide variety of dishes, including local specialties, was a treat for the taste buds. The homemade touches and attention to detail made each morning a delightful culinary experience.
The rooms at Hotel Mary's House were not only super clean but also had an authentic charm. The traditional decor and comfortable amenities created a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, making us feel right at home.
One of the standout features of this hotel is the owner, Bugra. In addition to running the hotel, he also operates a professional tourist company that organizes tours all over Turkey. We were incredibly lucky to have Bugra as our guide during our visit to Ephesus and other nearby places. His amazing knowledge and passion for the history and culture of the region were truly impressive. Our entire family was captivated by the information he shared.
Furthermore, I had the pleasure of spending an amazing evening with Bugra, having coffee and engaging in discussions about life and history. It was a truly memorable and enriching experience.
Overall, I highly recommend Hotel Mary's House in Selcuk, Turkey. The combination of delicious breakfast, pristine rooms, and Bugra's expertise as a tourist guide created an exceptional and unforgettable stay. It is a testament to the warm hospitality and dedication of this family-owned hotel.
Nothing.

Mary’s house is a beautiful small hotel with a lovely and serene courtyard. Our room was large and nicely appointed. The bed was very comfortable, and the aircon was quite. What really made our stay amazing was our host, Bugra! He was incredibly relaxed and accommodating. we asked him if he would arrange a tour of Ephesus for us, and he took us personally ( Bugra also runs a tour company) His English is excellent, he encouraged us to ask any questions regarding history, religion, culture etc. Our day visiting Ephesus with him really enhanced and elevated our experience in Selcuk. Great stay, but even better host!
I have nothing to add, we enjoyed everything about our stay at Mary’s house.

Location, location, location…This lovely little hotel is located just beneath the Church of St. John in the city’s ancient center. There are multiple places to eat & shop nearby. It is very clean, fairly new (I believe 6 or 7 years old) and the breakfast was just what we had been anticipating as lovers of Turkish cousine. Having lived in Turkey many years ago, we couldn’t decide whether to rent a car and guide ourselves or use public transportation. Bugra, the owner offered to provide airport and other transportation in his small touring van- which was quite comfortable. After taking us to Ephesus and Mary’s House the first day, we decided to hire him for the Seven Churches Tour.
We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Bugra is well respected, knows all the best local places to eat and shop as well as the history of the area. He’s a licensed professional and generous with his time. He has a lovely family and they make the place feel like home. His two well behaved children even came along with us one day. He is a problem solver and enjoys helping his customers with their specialty interests.
We were more than satisfied with the price and service and feel that we got the most value out of our 5 night stay through his guidance and driving. We are looking forward to returning and following in the footsteps of Paul.
It was all good.

Interior design is impeccable and the layout makes for a relaxing and safe space. We were traveling with young children and felt very well taken care of. The breakfast was delicious. The owner is fluent in English and he gave us a tour of the Ephesus ruins and answered our various questions. He took our family to a great nearby place to eat ice cream.

"The room is big and beautiful. We enjoyed the Turkish breakfast. Our host was happy to attend to all our transportation needs and booked very good tours for us. He was a former tour guide so he is very knowledgeable. We highly recommend a stay in Mary's House."

Top quality furnishings and fittings, spotlessly clean, lovely breakfast, fantastic host. Excellent position close to Saint Johns basilica and the old part of Selcuk, which is a lovely town near by to Ephesus. It is possible to walk to and from Ephesus but takes about an hour. Very near what is left of temple of Artemis, One of the seven wonders of the ancient world.

A beautifully maintained, homey hotel with a lovely courtyard and rooms. The owner, staff and the owner’s family are the true gems of this place. They reopened the entire hotel for us when our original plans got mixed up. The breakfast was the best we had during our time in Turkey. The effort and care they put into their guests is unmatched. We will be back.

Beautiful little B&B. In a quieter part of Selcuk, but close to the castle as well as the town centre. Nice bars and restaurants nearby. The room was lovely. Very good Air conditioning. We were able to book a day trip to Ephesus as well with the owner, Bugra (pronounced Boora). Breakfast was traditional, but lovely and filling. Had a fantastic stay and a great day trip as well. We could not fault it!

The rooms were beautiful, clean and spacious - an absolute haven after a hot day (35⁰ Celcius) outside! An attractively presented breakfast was served in a lovely courtyard. Our host was perfect for his job - welcomed us with a pot of tea and really made us feel at home. Location was within easy reach from the station and the centre of town. We highly recommend staying here!

I am rating the structure, quite nice and clean hotel in the country side, near the main attractions.
Room big enough and friendly staff.
Nice morning breakfast
Parking on the street very close to the hotel
The hotel was fine, no dislike.
I wouldn't reccomend to use the guide service suggested by the hotel (the guide is the hotel owner himself).
If not driven by a religious background we wouldn't reccomend visiting the attraction Virgin Mary's house (nothing interesting from an architecture/art point of view)
