A lovely couple to stay who we would stay again should our path wind its way in their direction!!!

Room had an excellent aspect and views across the local area. Breakfast was very good and all options catered for. Location really lovely and as we hadn't visited area or Wales before we found the experience with Lee and Mherly lovely. The communal aspect of the breakfast meant meeting other guests which was a lovely aspect.Would recommend to others wishing to visit this part of Wales.

Exceptional

If I could give a score of more than 10 for cleanliness, I would! Set in a lovely village, 3 pubs and a restaurant, 30 mins walk into Tenby or bus/taxi ride. A good base to explore. And Lee & Mherly were amazing hosts, breakfast yummy and plenty of it. Best kippers I've had. We felt like we were part of a family, such, lovely personal service. Huge room, with chairs to watch tv comfy mattress on bed and shared balcony looking out over fields/towards the sea. Thank you for a lovely holiday.

We stayed for a week, had a great time and would not hesitate to return and stay in Wychwood House

The breakfast prepared by the owners, Lee and Mherly and served by them in the breakfast room was perfect, something for all tastes from a full English to Continental breakfast. We also appreciated the help provided by Lee and Mherly in recommending local beauty spots and restaurants. The room was much more comfortable than most of the pricy hotels we've stayed in. The location, in Penally, is within walking distance of Tenby's North beach and with adequate parking facilities for driving around the area.

My wife and found nothing to dislike. Our room, we booked the Deluxe Double Room, was exactly as described and as shown and detailed in the booking confirmation.

Super cosy experience in Penally

A SUPER WARM WELCOME AND DELICIOUS BREAKFAST! Amazing hosts, it seems like nothing is too much trouble. Lee even took it upon himself to book us into a local pub for dinner after our late arrival.

Room was very comfortable, not the most modern decor but full of character, as per the whole house - and everything we could have wanted was provided, and more. Fridge (lovely to have a jug of fresh milk inside it, wonderful) and drink making facilities were great, it was so nice to have some snacks and drinks provided. The bathroom could do with a a little maintenance in a couple of places but it was so airy and spacious, all worked well and hot water was plentiful.

A very enjoyable stay.

A lovely house, spotlessly clean with some interesting original features and a beautiful well tended garden. Our room was large and comfortable, sky tv and thoughtful extras included. Welsh cakes on arrival, fruit bowl and sherry replenished daily.The breakfast was exceptional in presentation and delicious. Mherly and Lee were very friendly, attentive without being intrusive and gave good advice on the area.

We had a wonderful stay in July 2023 at small, very well run B&B in a great location.

We liked the Wychwood House and the Penally location very much. The site was ideal for exploring Tenby and the Southwest coast of Wales. The hosts were wonderful people, personable and were efficient B&B managers. They were also full of helpful information on local sites of interest.The breakfasts were delicious and the house, garden and rooms were beautiful and clean.

Perfect B&B, hosts, house and location. Would highly recommend.

Lee and Mherly were excellent hosts, it was like visiting old friends. Everything was perfect, nice little extras in our room, secure motorcycle parking, exceptional breakfast and just a short lovely stroll into Tenby. Lovely.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and our conversations and interractions with Lee and Mherly.

The hosts were extremely helpful and friendly. The accommodation rated among the best we have ever experienced. The food was superb and the flexibility offered during our stay was excellent.

I can think of nothing that could be bettered, however - and this is purely personal - I found the social situation of all guests sitting round a single table at breakfast time somewhat difficult - others, of course, probably enjoy this arrangement.

Delightful Wychwood

We had a very comfortable room in an impressive property. Our hosts were extremely friendly and helpful about finding our way round the area. The breakfasts were excellent and helped set us up for the day. As a result we had a memorable stay and we should certainly want to return if we are ever in the area again.

Excellent stay - beautiful house - amazing breakfast - lovely hosts.

Breakfast was amazing - lovely house and gardens - very well kept. Lee and his wife were lovely - paid great attention to detail.

We had our own private toilet and bathroom but would have preferred an ensuite.

Wonderful house, hosts, and breakfast.

We had a good-sized, very comfortable and light room with views across towards the sea. Really liked the house interior. Very pleasant hosts. Enjoyed the location, as well as the walk across fields into Tenby (about 30 minutes). First class breakfast.

Definitely Return

Welcomed as we arrived by Lee in the drive. A beautiful B&B with lovely gardens and views. Sherry in the room a very nice touch and Breakfast was perfect. Pleasant walk through the Golf Course and along the Beach to Tenby.

Forgetting that the Pink key is for the door on the right but that's my fault, lol.

I would recommend this place to anyone in a heart-beat.

breakfast was excellent, fantastic choices, beautiful products. The room was lovely, and the location was just right. We had a good walk to get to Tenby, so got in our steps before we began the day. The hosts would do anything for us, and always pre-empted our needs. The bedding and towels were changed very regularly, and the bedroom was tidied and cleaned, and fresh fruit and tea/coffee/bottled water was put in the room every day.

There was nothing not to like. For anyone who likes the countryside, the beach, lovely breakfast, clean room and friendly hosts, this is the place to go.

Amazing B&B

Lee and Mherly are exceptional hosts, we were made very welcome and treated to Welsh cakes and sherry on arrival. The property is spotless and the breakfasts couldn't have been better. Quiet location but only 20 minutes walk from the centre of Tenby. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this B&B.

Lovely B and B with great hosts

A lovely B and B situated within walking distance of Tenby town. The hosts were very welcoming and the whole place was spotlessly clean. Our room was huge with all the facilities you need, including a balcony overlooking a stunning country view, I really can't fault anything about our stay.

A great welcome, very accommodations with our bicycles. Bonus birthday cake for a birthday was a lovely touch!

Being locked out! Although it was another guest who was at fault it was very frustrating for us. May be worth considering another method for guests to enter after hours.

Wychwood House? No. Wychwood HOME. Best B&B EVER.

What did I like? Oh my God. EVERYTHING. Starting from exceptional warm welcome. Room. Furniture. Little details, like small bottle of homemade sherry, or the bell by the bath. Extremely, EXTREMELY friendly hosts, Lee and Mherly. Amazing, really FRESHLY COOKED breakfast, with really good choice. But it's not about choice, it's not about quality of bed or colour on the walls, it's not about beautiful area. It's about HEART. Those guys really give the heart. They are not only professional. They love what they do. They love people, they love to care about people, but they also know, when to leave people alone. Like in a good family. This was, how both of us felt like - like on a family visit. Any warm word on any language from this world is not enough to describe the temperature of positive feelings. FABULOUS. INCREDIBLE. Thanks Mherly, thanks Lee (especially for chats!), and... Definitely see you again. Shall I add, that this place is extremely highly recommended?

What didn't I like? Only the fact that 5 days went so quickly... No. I have found one more thing. I should be able to rate 'Wychwood HOME' higher than 10. It's 100 out of 10. One more time - highly, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Top world class.

Amazing host , location and property. you will not be disappointed. I highly recommend.

The hosts where lovely and very welcoming and we felt comfortable from the second we arrived. An absolutely beautiful house in a beautiful setting. the room was very clean and the garden well kept, everything was very presentable.The balcony looked over the sea giving that extra special feature and so relaxing.The breakfast was amazing lots of choice and cooked to perfection. not one fault everything was more than perfect. we will definitely be back soon. Lovely little guest house where we were made to feel extremely welcome.

Breakfast was lovely and plenty of choice. Hosts went that extra mile to give a "break away", vibe to our stay. There were delicious home made Welsh cakes in the room on our arrival which was a lovely sentiment. Thank you both will certainly be booking again :)
