Nestled in a tranquil woodland setting within walking distance of the ZigZag and Sandy Rivers, this studio-style cabin in Rhododendron is a wonderful escape for winter sports and summer adventures on the slopes of Mt. Hood.
This cabin feels both secluded and close to Mt. Hood's wonders, with a public easement to the ZigZag River within walking distance. You'll also be able to stroll to the Skyway Bar & Grill and a nearby pizza parlor, and easily drive to world-class hiking trails and mountain resorts.
The cabin is attached to a main house on the property, but it has its own private entrance. The grounds are lovely and peaceful, offering a sheltered hot tub, a firepit, and a covered deck - all with beautiful views of the surrounding forest.
Inside, the space is lofty and atmospheric, featuring two-story ceilings and details of natural wood and exposed brick. After a day of adventure, curl up on the sofa in the warmth of the woodstove (with logs provided) and fix yourself a pre-dinner snack in the kitchenette with a mini-fridge, microwave, toaster, electric kettle, and coffee maker. At night, choose between two sleeping spaces - a bed facing a TV on the ground floor and a futon upstairs in the loft. Central heating and air-conditioning offer ultimate comfort.

Great place! Clean and cozy! Would stay again.

Charming, cozy, well-outfitted, nicely presented, in good condition. If we had wanted to cook meals, the lack of a kitchen would be an issue, but the setup was perfect for this stay as we just needed to heat food.

Cozy; quaint; relaxing; owners personable and responsive; enjoyable conversations and hooked us up to Merlin, creating an enjoyable experience!

Great place to getaway and check out for a little bit

This is a really nicely crafted cabin in a great location. I stayed for a weekend while snowboarding at Timberline. Not only is it 15 minutes away from the ski area, but it's also close to many great restaurants and mini marts, while also feeling like you are very remote and away from people. My only complaint was that it would have been nice if it had a bigger fridge and a kitchen sink. I would definitely come back.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Creekside Cabin. It was very private, clean, and close to Mount Hood. Would definitely come back :)

We love the Creekside cabin. It has a good size yard for our dogs to play in. A wide deck too and the hot tub. The room smelled really good when we arrived. The only downside about it is, there's no sink in the kitchen. Overall, out stay was great!

It was perfect in every way!

We had a great stay at this place. The only thing that could improve is a full kitchen. The neighbors did express displeasure that it's a rental place but that didn't bother us too much.
Clean, cozy, great hot tub and nice patio to hang out on. Everything went smoothly. The loft bedroom gets a little warm and dry in winter, so make sure you use the fans to get the air flow going!

Loved this cozy, clean cabin! The hot tub was such a wonderful addition to enjoy. The only thing that was missing was bedding for the loft bed. My seven year old had to co sleep with mom and dad in the queen size bed which was a little squishy! Other than that it was perfect!

We had a great time at the cabin - it was super clean, pretty, and in a lovely area. Hot tub was awesome as well. We had a hard time finding it in the dark -- make sure not to use Google Maps!

We had an awesome time at this cabin! Pretty
minimal which is nice. One perk would be adding a little more storage or shelves for any items you bring to toast or heat up. Beds were cozy, hot tub was perfect, and we even lucked out getting some snow while we were there. Last item that would be awesome is an option for later check out or early check in. We didn’t get an early check in text until 30 min before and our drive was longer than that so we didn’t get to enjoy that. All and all, amazing spot!

Such an adorable little studio cabin in a quiet area. Hot tub was a wonderful perk. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The delightful thought and care that went into what was provided (coffee, tea, cutlery, toiletries, etc) was so awesome. Thank you for a delightful stay!

Little studio apt style place in the woods with an audible river nearby. Private hot tub area that was really nice and a patio that's probably pretty nice when it's not winter.
Could probably use a bit more instruction on getting a wood stove fire going (we're idiots and couldn't figure it out), but that's a total nit. Great comfortable place.

The cabin was great! Super cute and cozy. However, there is absolutely NO way to contact anyone if needed. We were not provided a key code so we couldn't lock the house during our stay.

Loved this location! Very clean space and had everything we needed. Super close to yummy restaurants and beautiful scenery! We will definitely be back

This was a cute, cozy little space. Perfect for our weekend getaway. Quiet, surrounded by nature, close to fun and nature.
Kitchenette is minimal but we planned ahead so it sufficed.
We would totally visit here again.

My husband and I stayed at this property for one night. When we arrived, there was signs directing you where to go. Over all, main floor was clean and cozy. However the loft was what we were really interested in and it was dirty. The bed was slept on and there was hair. Very obvious that it was not clean. I took pictures and sent them to the number i was provided with and they said “ Thank you for patiently waiting. Please know that I have alerted our local operations manager regarding this concern, and we'll get back to you as soon as we receive an update from them.” I never received an update. We couldn’t use the fireplace because apparently there was a fire ban. We looked it up in mt.hood the ban was lifted September 22nd. We are from Montana so we know all about this stuff. The hot tub was clean and we got to enjoy that so it was nice to soak and enjoyed the rain because it was covered. Although the hot tub did have dirt in it so we aren’t very sure when it was cleaned last. I personally did not enjoy the coffee, my recommendation as a property manager myself, have the individual original packaging to display or just changing type of coffee all together. Would not say this is a bad place, actually the opposite, it just needs a better and more experience eye for small details. The property manager should have inspected properly.

Very private cabin, comfy and cozy! Bed was comfortable and we enjoyed the deck and the hot tub.

My partner and I love camping, so for our honeymoon we wanted to enjoy some fancy camping and this cabin was perfect! The hot tub was amazing, the deck was the perfect shaded spot for boardgames or breakfast, and we loved the overall relaxing and cozy vibes of the property. It’s also an amazing location to explore Mt Hood! The kitchenette is very basic, but there are lots of fun places nearby for dinner.

Place was very clean and peaceful. Great place to to get away from the city, walking distance to private river and hike trials. The hot tub is definitely a plus.

We stayed here for one night and loved it. It's tucked back enough to be secluded and peaceful, but close enough to town if you would like to get out and about. The room was clean and we were even able to check in early. We would love to come back.

Cute place, clean and cozy. Great spot for myself and my young daughter. Only thing I wish was available was a microwave, but other than that it was exactly what we hoped for.

Everything was great. However would be nice to have a slightly larger refrigerator and have a microwave

The cabin itself was great. However, I got hot tub folliculitis all over my whole body from using the hot tub which is due to the hot tub not being properly maintained. I attempted to reach out to the property manager directly in February when this happened because I did not want to leave a negative review but I received no response. I went to the doctor and was diagnosed with hot tub folliculitis days after my stay. I thought I would let this go but I have received a $300 bill from the doctor and no manager has responded to me so at this point I’m no longer feeling gracious enough to let it go without a review. I have used many many hot tubs in my life and this is the first one that left my entire body covered in painful bumps like I had chicken pox.

Close to the river, hiking trails within walking distance or just a short drive. Big nice porch to lounge on, hot tub in good working order, clean throughout. Thanks for the stay!

My wife and I loved this cozy little cabin for a winter getaway. Nicely decorated, close to activities and a gloriously big hot tub.

Love the fireplace, it's clean and easy check in. I also love the bed on the loft, soft and comfortable.

Great place to ride out the storm! We were nice and cozy. Also good for a one nighter on the mountain. No washer/ dryer so difficult to dry ski gear for multiple days skiing and staying over. Very nicely designed with great space for a family of four.

This creek-side cabin surrounded by moss draped, rainforest pines was a wonderful place to settle in with a good book in front of a wood fire stove and leave the cares of work and the city behind. A covered porch kept off the occasional rain and allowed searching the thick forest for secretive animal life.
We hiked nearby trails, walked along the river and considered the mountain biking potential and nearby skiing opportunities for our next trips. The waiting hot tub soothed our newly found muscles and nearby restaurants satiated our hunger. This home was magic.
