Banff trip

Clean room with fridge in room. Kitchen and laundry room were clean and easy to use and we were able to drop our bags off before check in

Die Lage und das Bett war bequem

Das Personal war total unfähig, falsche Frühstückszeiten, sodass ich am ersten Tag zu spät da war, Kaputte Lampe wurde nach drei Tagen repariert, mein Essen aus dem Kühlschrank wurde ohne Grund entsorgt, abends/nachts laute Musik, Frühstück war schlecht

C’est une auberge parfaite pour les voyages en famille et amis.

L’emplacement de l’auberge est parfait. L’auberge de jeunesse dispose d’une grande cuisine avec une grande chambre froide et un congélateur. Le frigo personnel dans la chambre est un atout. Les chambres disposent d’un nombre important de prises. La possibilité de réserver un dortoir privé pour des amis/la famille permet de profiter au maximum du voyage en toute tranquillité.

Comme précisé dans la description, le parking est petit. Il est donc possible de s’y garer en basse saison mais cela semble difficile de pouvoir trouver une place durant les mois de mai à septembre.

Cheapest in town but not worth it unless you’re on a big budget. Location is all it has going for it.

Good location - 10 min walk from down town. It was clean enough for a hostel.

The staff weren’t very helpful or friendly. They weren’t rude but didn’t converse. They weren’t professional and had headphones on or having personal conversations when talking to them. I asked for help booking a bus to Calgary and they suggested one that only runs on weekends and weren’t interested in helping. They close the small communal area at 11pm or 12am which I was made to believe it was 24hrs.

Expensive but great experience

It’s a fantastic place, very clean, you have curtains in the beds, kitchen, you share the bathroom only with your roomies, which can be inconvenient but you get extra privacy, everything you need

Decent basics but could be improved

Comfortable beds with clean sheets. Great location of course. I won't complain about the price as it's one of if not the cheapest you'll find. Laundry facilities were great. Exceptional storage options: storage room, lockers, draws under beds. Nice layout and design of buildings and rooms.

No air conditioning despite how hot it can get. Only ineffective fans. Bed curtains only cover one side (with other sides open), are only on bottom bunks, and are unevenly hooked. Appreciate the thoughtfulness of the plug socket (you can use any plug type) but there was only one plug per bed. Bedside storage had 6 surfaces for 8 people and blocked the draw under my bed so I couldn't open it fully. Nice to have lights for each bed but they're way too bright to use when others are trying to sleep (especially in top bunks where there are no curtains). The bathroom has toilet and shower/bath in one room which is lockable and a sink next door. This meant everyone in my dorm either used their phone light or no light if up early morning/late night. Main issue was cleanliness. The bathroom and bed sheets were great but the main dorm itself clearly needed cleaning. Saw a gross spider just before checking out and wasn't surprised.

heater was too hot at night and too close to the bunk beds. We we’re sweating the whole night while sleeping. it was uncomfortable mainly because of the heater.

Great value for money during ski season

Excellent location, with comfortable bunks and clean modern en-suite. The staff were helpful and friendly. Great value for money.

the very basic of accommodations..... for sure.

The location is great and they gave me free parking for my car.

I didn't get a key for my room and was lucky someone was up to let me in. The biggest disappointment was that the room stank. Most of the 14 beds were occupied by long term renters and hygiene wasn't their focus.... it could have been the 20 pairs of shoes at the door... or the used laundry laying around could have contributed to the smell.

its accessibilty to the town and convenience stores

no free towels. why do i need to make a deposit for a towel? the free breakfast is not worth it. they served a cold muffin, small container of orange juice that no one refills and empty cerials.
