Clean, elegant decor, nice staff for the most part. In a clean and safe area.
Under construction/remodeling. We arrived a bit late and wanted to shower before bed after a long drive only to discover no hot water in our room. Front desk was difficult and initially was not willing to provide us with equal accommodations to what we booked. They wanted to move us to inferior accommodations until we pressed and demanded that they make it right. Even after they finally agreed the room we were moved to still had its own issues like a loose hanging ceiling tile directly over our heads in the shower.

At check in Richelle and Andre were very nice, welcoming, and helpful. All of the front desk personnel was nice an helpful.
I liked the decor and the location of the hotel. A few parades passed right in front of the hotel. Bourbon Street is a short walk away. We also enjoyed Daisy's Diner located across the street.
Our room wasn't cleaned very well, specifically the bathroom. There was feces around the rim of the toilet seat cover. We were settled in and it was late so I just cleaned it up myself. The hot water wasn't very hot and the pressure was low. We didn't experience the infamous PBJ sammies. If they were being served at a certain time there was no notification. The pantry had a poor amount of fresh food offerings such as sandwiches, fruit, etc..

Bellissimo Hotel e splendida posizione

I love the location and friendly staff. The recent needed renovations were very good.
Late late night it took the water a very long time to heat up. Sometimes it didn’t heat up.

The staff was extremely attentive and friendly (especially the bellhop, the waitress at the restaurant, and the hotel manager), the food at the restaurant was excellent, the room was beautiful and clean.
I have no complaints about this gorgeous hotel and it's wonderful staff. They made our stay memorable.

Room was clean and nice reception. Enjoyed pb&j hour!
Valet staff were not that friendly. Room wasn’t too special but I guess that’s what’s you get.

Beautiful hotel with an interesting history and close to the Superdome. Valet parking lot is right next to the hotel so we were able to see our vehicle from our room window, which is great in New Orleans.
Construction was underway for the bar area, so staff had to set up a makeshift bar in the lobby area. Glad they were able to accommodate some patrons this way at least. Breakfast area was nice, but the selections should be refilled quicker.

Trash service outside hotel loud and too early in the am
No bathtubs

The room was very nicely appointed, and the shower was fantastic. In addition, the breakfast in the restaurant was very good.
The walls were paper thin, and you could hear everything inside and outside. At midnight a restaurant acrorss the street had live music playing out on the street, which woke us from a dead sleep.

Entrance decor
Room was cold and couldn't regulate.
Quilt cover un pressed, looked like it had just been dragged out of drier.
Noise distribution regularly, told was testing of alarms but went on for hours

Staff didn't know how to use the computer at front desk. Had trouble getting receipts. Shower only had 1/2 door and got water everywhere!

Only 1 elevator was working
4.5
I loved the designs of the rooms, the staff was very friendly, the Napoleon suite was beautiful and I appreciated the peanut butter and jelly tradition a lot.
The building is historic so it definitely came with some drawbacks. One of the elevators was out of service the whole time we were there, our first room had a leak due to the rain but they more than made up for it by upgrading us to the suite. So, it really was a positive in my eyes.

it’s location . My first time staying at this property . My mom use to work at this property many many years ago. This hotel is apart of New Orleans’ history.
Upon my arrival the employee at the front desk was very distant and did NOT have very good eye contact and wasn’t too customer friendly . I didn’t get her name but she was a tall young lady that really seemed as if she didn’t want to answer any of my questions with elaboration.

Great and welcoming staff. The valet was efficient and got our car on time. My fiancé loved it, so do I!
Our closet door got locked.

Beautiful historic hotel with great service even with remodeling going on!!
4.5
Breakfast was good and bedding was comfortable.
Only one elevator worked so we waited a good bit. While the rooms were comfortable, they were tight. The bathroom did disappoint me because it was very very small, had cracked/broken marble, stained pipes, and the tub was not that comfortable to relax in. My biggest issue would be that the air conditioning was not up to par.

The hotel is beautiful! Great location if you want to be close to the French Quarters, but away from the noise. Great location if you’re attending a game at Superdome or Smoothie King Arena.
One of the elevators was out, but they did everything to make your stay comfortable. They even gave us the option of canceling reservations without being charged for canceling.

Good location, easy walk to Bourbon St and closer local restaurants.
Unfortunately there is currently no restaurant onsite except for weekend breakfast.
