Superb location with an authentic vibe! The communication was perfect and the riad manager was also on spot and quick! A

The property is located just a few meters off the entrance of the medina, at a small alley! Perfect for a walk into the sights also close to mini markets and restaurants. It is quite and cosy with an authentic atmosphere! Bonus : as I stayed in January, and reached the ruad at night, I found the AC on and waiting for my arrival!

The wifi connection was terrible to be honest. My room was located pn the top floor and besides being opposite a wifi extender, I had to use my cellular data for the night. Which would be typical I am afraid of wifi around Morocco.

Deplorable - the worst experience ever had

No me gustó nada la actitud, la deshonestidad y el mal rollo que nos ocasionó todo eso. Nunca he tenido una tan mal experiencia. No tengo palabras por el comportamiento absolutamente incorrecto de la mujer de la recepción, Hasnae. Nos cargaron a posteriori las 3 noches de alojamiento a pesar de que no estuvimos ninguna, ya que tuvimos que marcharnos del sitio la primera noche por todas las complicaciones que hubo a partir del primer momento. Llegamos sobre las 16.30h, después de haberles avisado que estábamos en tren y que llegaríamos en breve. Desde el minuto 1 la impresión que tuvimos fue de un sitio que no estaba acondicionado para recibir huéspedes, el alojamiento estaba en obras. Nos dijo que teníamos que esperar un poco antes de subir a la habitación. Esperamos más de una hora y media abajo para poder tener acceso a la habitación, después de 6 horas de vieje. Los baños de la planta baja estaban muy sucios (con calzoncillos sucios por ahí) y, aparte de materiales de obras (sacos de cemento y demás), había mucho polvo por las escaleras. La habitación era más pequeña y agobiante de lo que parecía en foto y tampoco el baño se correspondía al que aparecía en las imágenes. Esto es lo de menos. No había ni gel de ducha ni champú, tal como tenia que estar incluido, y tampoco se nos facilitaron cuando se lo preguntamos. Bueno, puede pasar. Volvimos en la noche después de cenar y nos encontramos con cucarachas en la habitación y en las camas. En la recepción no había nadie y, sin tener otra opción, tuvimos que buscar otro sitio donde pasar la noche y al que nos desplazamos a la 1.00 de la madrugada. Al día siguiente el Riad había sido contactado por Booking, ya que nos habíamos puesto en contacto con la atención al cliente para avisarles de la situación y de que no podíamos quedarnos allí por no cumplir ni con lo mínimo. Pasamos por el Riad para explicarles todo lo que pasó personalmente y decirles que nos íbamos a quedar ya en otro sitio.

Convenient and close to everything

The location is excellent and the facilities are very good! You can stay out late because it is located in an easily accessible area and there are people walking around the area all the time.

To the next time

The receptionist lady Hassna is very kind, smily, and open mined. The place worth to stay. I visit it for the second time. The breakfast was really something traditional and healthy, which gives me a positive energy to start my day with a fresh spirit. Thank you Hasssna.

Water was cold in the morning. It took a long time to turn into a hot one. However, I enjoy it.

Breakfast was good.

Toilet flush doesn't work and they didn't fix it. Clogged sink. Narrow building that accentuates the noise of the other (rude) guests. Cockroaches in the room.

Super stay

Very nice Dar, super cozy, very central, near everything. Super friendly and helpful staff! Really good breakfast in a nice atmosphere. Impossible good price, excelent quality relation. Recommend staying here for sure!

nice hotel near the blue gate

I really like the property and the location. the staff has been lovely and they helped me every time I had a question. I travelled there as a solo female and I felt safe.

the Wi-Fi could definitely improve. there connection wasn’t strong and it was very hard to make video calls. the breakfast was very good and tasteful but it was the same, every day.

good location nice host, uncomfortable property

It was a good location with Souks and restaurants at 2 minutes walking distance. Our host Hasna was really nice and helpful. Also the breakfast was good with traditional stuff.

The room was a bit too small. Plus, the room was on 2nd floor and the strairs were extremely narrow and slanted. You get almost breathless by the time you reach 2nd floor. Also bathroom had faulty fittings and it was really difficult to take a bath.

Location is exactly on the border with the medina and nearby blue gates. Overall great location. Decent breakfast and when my stomach was upset, the employee was ready to make something individual. Feels bit like a home/authentic experience.

It was bit noisy but I tend to go sleep rather early.
