We stayed in this house as part of a little golf trip, and absolutely loved it! The kitchen is well stocked and the appliances are very easy to use. Beds were very comfy and each room having it's own bathroom was perfect! We loved the pool table and quite enjoyed the hot tub after a few rounds of golf. Only comment would be that we wished there was more than 1 TV in the house. Maybe one in the pool room or by the fire place. Regardless we absolutely loved our stay and Gabriel was fantastic to work with. Very responsive, coordinated and ready to help if needed. Check-in and out was a breeze. Looking forward to next year!

This house was perfect. The house is well stocked and very comfortable. The view is spectacular. Golden has a number of good shops and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a great time staying here. The house is in a great location, just a short walk to ski to the lifts and an easy ski home. The house is large with a great kitchen. There was more than enough space for our group. We will definitely book here again if/when we come back to KHMR.

Beautiful home and location. I will say with 6 bedrooms 1 TV is NOT enough especially if you have children. Otherwise great vacation.

Couldn’t have asked for a better place for our group of 12. Sleeping arrangements can be made up in Kings or Singles. Great for all types of groups. The kitchen is well stocked. Plenty of seating in common areas for your entire group. Pool table is a nice touch to pass time. Large hot tub on covered patio. Gabriel is very communicative for all your needs throughout your stay. Will definitely be back!!

The accommodations at Grizzly Chalet suited our group very well. There were enough rooms and space to gather and spread out when needed. What a beautiful place. Very comfortable and well stocked. Love the very large table as we could gather for many fantastic meals. A great way for family to come together to say goodbye to our dad, grandpa, great grandpa, brother, husband and friend.

A wonderful place to stay with our family. It fit all of us (13) with space to spare. The kitchen work well for our Thanksgiving/Christmas gathering.
The games room, ie pool table was used by everyone.

3 families with young adult children.. we all had a great time in the spacious house and huge super well stocked kitchen. with so much room, and bathrooms with every bedroom, we had all the privacy needed. loved the hot tub.
went biking with a neighbor/local who showed us great trails. kept busy with all the outdoor activities available (hiking, biking, golf, via ferrata, white water rafting and saw Boo the bear...)
15 min drive to Golden. 1 hour to Lake Louise. be aware of Hwy 1 closures at night - during weekdays.

Loved everything about our stay!

We were 4 adult couples that stayed at the property in mid-June. We found the property to be very nice and roomy and well appointed (from kitchen/grilling utensils, towels for the hot tub, high-chair and safety gates for children, to even hand-knit foot coverings at the front door if you wanted to use them). The beds were all very comfortable (and our parents who are in their 80's and often have issues with beds and their backs even thought they were very good). Neighborhood was quiet and backyard is private. The only "issues" we encountered were fairly insignificant - namely a) curtains in pool room/doors to the grill were jammed and couldn't be opened and thus had to simply be pushed aside, b) toilet seats didn't sit well on the stool and would shift a little startling a person, and c) getting live TV was doable, but difficult to navigate. We found Gabriel (owner of the property) to be very responsive and available throughout the entire booking/stay.

This was such a beautiful cabin! We were a group of friends up for 5 days to ski and it was perfect. We were concerned it would be a bit of a trek to the mountain when we looked at google maps, but you just needed to walk about 5 ish minutes to get on a groomed trail all downhill to the resort, and then the ski out at the end of the day brought you right to the end of the street! Having the pool table and hot tub for multiple simultaneous activities was great too, since we were a larger group. And each room having its own on suite definitely helped at the end of a ski day when we all wanted to shower. We put the couple with the baby in the front room, and the rooms seemed well enough sound proofed that he never woke up from the noise of the rest of the adults downstairs after he’d gone to bed! Thank you for having us!

This house was absolutely gorgeous. It was clean, open, fully stocked and had more than enough space for three families with kids to spread out. We used the kitchen everyday to cook meals, the hot tub to relax after hiking, the great room to play cards and do puzzles, and the theater room to play movies for the kids. We even took advantage of the location and used the nordic trail system for runs. We will be back!

We came toma Golden with a group of 10 for a golfing trip in July and this property did not disappoint one bit. The hot tub and pool table were great for entertainment and the kitchen is massive and well stocked . The owner was very open and easy to communicate with. I would not hesitate to stay here again for another golf trip or a week of skiing at Kicking Horse.

Great location and accommodations
Lovely property for myself and seven friends. House was very clean with everything you could want for cooking meals and relaxing and unwinding. Instructions were very helpful. Beds were super comfortable, everyone slept great! Having a fireplace for cool evenings was so nice to wind down by.

Friends Trip
We are a group of empty nester couples who enjoy each other’s company but with many varied interests. This was our second weeklong trip together and we loved this home. It was spacious, well provisioned for the cooks among us, and in a perfect location. Everything about the home and the town of Golden was terrific. I have stayed with my family and my friends in many VRBOs over the past 10 years - this was one of the finest. Thank you!

Perfect ski vacatoin
This house was fantastic. Great location, tons of room, well stocked kitchen, and hot tub in addition to other perks. Perfect place to wind down after skiing. Our group mixed it up with skiing days at Lake Louise, Kicking Horse, and CMH Heli-skiing out of CMH Purcell in Golden BC. You won’t be disappointed!

Great stay in Golden
This vacation property is great for big families or multiple group vacations. The six bedrooms all having en suites is fantastic!! The kitchen is setup with nearly everything you need. Such a great layout!! The pool table and large dinner table were fantastic for game nights. The hot tub was a nice addition and use of the large garage came in handy. The only thing I'd like to see is some better maintenance on the house. Some shower faucets didn't work well, wall damage not repaired, garage door openers don't work, the fridge ice machine didn't work well and the hot tub is very dated. The house could use a general repair person to go in and fix things up a bit. All in all, an awesome setup in a massive house with many accommodations. Highly recommended!!

My family and I had a great stay at the property. There is more than enough space for social distancing. The property was clean and check in process was seamless. Would recommend this place for a quick mountain getaway!

A few suggestions
With paying a cleaning fee was not to sure why we needed to take the garbage out when there was garbage bins in the garage. This should be part of the cost.
Plus with the fireplace it would be nice if there was paper to start it.
Other than those two things it was a great place to stay.

Property was great and everything was as stated on the listing. The property manager was easy to contact prior to our stay and responded quickly. Everything was very clean, except I wish the carpets were vacumed properly and doors in bathrooms locked properly as we did have little ones with us that could pick up small things and open doors as others were in the bathrooms. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed and more. Would definitely come back!
