Book it! This place was the best. We were greeted as soon as we arrived by Maren (I think) who proceeded to tell us about the town/neighborhood and places of interest. She even gave us a map and drew out routes for us to the bus station, restaurants, and shops, with recommendations! Our room was crisp and clean and the perfect distance to town. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go, but Establo is just set back from the busier streets of town so it’s a little more quiet and peaceful. We asked for an early breakfast as we were setting out on the O trek in the early am, and this was accommodated no problem. Breakfast was an amazing spread (delivered to the room) and the perfect start to our day. There’s even an espresso machine and a milk frother in the room, little bits of luxury. TLDR, great place, perfect location, delicious breakfast, incredible host.

Very clean and nicely decorated rooms. Helpful staff. Possibility of leaving bags for the duration of your stay in Torres Del Paine (for a reasonable fee). Nice breakfast, which you can have in your room at your convenience (i.e., not tied up by any breakfast times, which is helpful). Proximity to the bus station being an added bonus.

As the name of the place suggests, this seems to be a stable conversion. Which is generally cool and gives the place a lot of character. That said, an unintended side effect of the conversion is that walls dividing the rooms aren't particularly soundproof, which also meant I got woken up by the couple next door twice... On the positive side, they seemed to have a lot of fun ;-)

Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast in the room was very convenient.

Location was farther away from restaurants than we expected. After initial contact, we never saw any staff.

The bed was very comfortable and the room was nice and quiet. The breakfast provided in the room was good. Good location not too far from downtown and less than 10 minute walk to bus station.

The shower did not drain and was very dirty. There was no staff at the property while we were there.

The room was very clean, spacious, comfortable. Vicky was welcoming, friendly, and provided great recommendations. Breakfast was delicious!

Vicky, the owner, is a hands-on manager who clearly cares about her business. She went to great lengths to ensure we had whatever we needed--in fact, when we discovered our car had a flat tire on the morning of our departure, she road with us and found a place to repair it for us, and quickly! And that is the definition of above and beyond! The room was spacious and clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the breakfast was just what we needed to start our day. It's also a great value. We would happily return, and I highly recommend it to others.

Honestly, I can't think of a thing I didn't like. As a well-travelled person, I have a critical eye when it comes to travel, but there is nothing for which I could fault El Establo.

The hostel is nicely decorated and feels very warm and cozy. We enjoyed our stay, as it is at a convenient location and quite close to the bus station. We were able to leave our stuff at the hostel while we spent 2 nights at Torres del Paine. Our host was extremely friendly and helpful with everything we needed!

Lovely little hotel, about halfway between the city center and the bus station. We stayed twice (once before and once after our W Trek) in two separate rooms, both of which were comfortable with great beds. Breakfast was nice and is delivered to your room, with your choice of hot or cold foods. Best of all was the service and hospitality - it was above and beyond what's expected.

The second room we stayed in did not have very much hot water, so you needed to wait a full 30 minutes in-between two showers. This was a little inconvenient to wait so long after our trek when we needed a good wash but were starving to head to dinner.

Excellent! Everything about this place is brilliant, Vicky and her staff were amazing, couldn't be more helpful and accommodating. They had dogs which was a bonus for us but they were very considerate about whether we were comfortable. The rooms have unlimited coffee from espresso machines and the breakfast is lovely.

Very friendly, flexible and accommodating staff who could not have done more to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Clean, quiet rooms with really comfortable beds. The rooms are hidden out the back of the property, almost like a retreat. Breakfast was served in the room and was delicious. Would highly recommend staying here and would definitely come back again. Thank you!

Amazing experience with El Establo. We stayed for a night before going to Torres del Paine and our stay was remarkable. In particular the host was very welcoming and helpful. There were Nespresso coffee machine and milk frother (!!!) in the room, that was a nice surprise. You can feel that the hotel is made with lots of love for hotel business and horses :)

Would be great if the door to the bathroom could be closed

Excellent location, wonderful facilities. Staff is exceptionally helpful and friendly. Food was great, wi-fi was very fast! They stayed late and even did some laundry for us. All around, just amazing.

Super comfy beds, delicious breakfast, beautiful rooms and lovely people!

The only thing we didn’t like was leaving 😊

If have the chance to get a room there than do it. The host has all ouer special wishes fullfilled. Very nice and well cleaned room.
