We certainly enjoyed our 2 week San Diego vacation at this property. The location for us was great as we have relatives who live nearby and were able to spend time with us there. The house is clean, roomy and well appointed with kitchen, linen and bath supplies as well as an abundance of games. The check in process was easy and Eric communicated with us during the visit to make sure all was going well. While, as fully described in the VRBO writeup, there is definitely overhead plane noise it was easy to get used to and never really interfered with our stay. We were able to enjoy nice weather on the front decks and private backyard too and with breezes and open windows never even had to turn on the AC during our July time there. Definitely a fun time and a nice respite from the Arizona heat.

This lovely home was a perfect location for our daughter’s college graduation celebration. It had a gorgeous view from the roof top deck and the other two outdoor spaces were comfortable and well-appointed for all our entertaining for family and friends. Our host provided excellent instructions for check-in, departure, and general house care. This home was spotless and had every imaginable kitchen tool and appliance, plus a ton of indoor and outdoor games. The Point Loma location couldn’t have been better for us, with easy access to the shops at Liberty Station and all the downtown attractions, plus the airport! Highly recommend!

We love San Diego and visit often. This house was perfect for our family. A few things to note, there are a lot of stairs to get into the house and street only parking was challenging on school days (High school kids parking on the street and walking to school as well as at pick up time for the elementary school). We couldn't park when we first arrived since it was carpool time. Weekends were not an issue. Beds were cozy as were the outside spaces. I know plane noise is mentioned in the description and it does effect hanging outside and chatting with your guests. You won't find a house better stocked then Eric's! He has signs explaining everything and you will not need to purchase any supplies for a short stay. Overall we were very pleased with our stay!

I can’t recommend this location enough! It has plenty of space, close enough to downtown, but far enough away to where you don’t have to deal with the noise that comes with staying in a major city. The host was amazing and Eric made sure to feel us welcome, but also made himself available for any questions

Loved the huge deck above the garage, the stargazing deck on the roof, and the beautiful backyard. Got used to plane noise after a few days. House is loaded with everything you'd need including lots of games. Location is close to everything. Don't miss the Sunday farmers market at point Loma high school which is just a few minutes walk!

This house was close to everything; Liberty Station, Mission Beach, La Jolla Cove, Torrey Pines Nature Reserve, Sea World, Old, Town, Coronado, and much more. It was the perfect spot for our family vacation. The house had everything we needed and more. Eric was available when needed by text and was a great host. As others mentioned, the planes at 6:30am were a great alarm clock, but with so much to do, who can sleep in??

Fantastic size for our family of 5 adults. Between well-equipped kitchen, gas grill, two patios, large living room it had all the amenities. We also appreciated how close it was to Liberty Square -- we walked there numerous time for shopping, dining or running. The airplane noise can be intense some evenings -- luckily for us that only happened the first night we were there. Eric was incredibly responsive to all our questions and very accommodating about early check-in. Overall very highly recommended and we will look for this property again on any return trips to San Diego. It's an amazing city!

Family reunion
First of all, Eric was a great host, very accessible and helpful. I have not experienced anyone better. The layout of the house was great and it was well supplied. The outdoor spaces were amazing, both front and back. Great location to access anything you wanted. Liberty Station has really grown and we made several trips to explore and eat. We all agreed that we would rent it again!

Graduation
This house was a perfect stay for the 6 adults in San Diego for our daughter's graduation. Eric allowed us to have a graduation celebration there and the back patio was awesome and easily accommodated 15 people. Eric was a superb host and always accessible through text.

Pt. Loma get-away weekend
Property was located in nice neighborhood a few streets from the stores and restaurants of Liberty Station. Lots of outdoor space both in front and back of house including a rooftop desk with a straight view of the airport runway and the downtown skyline. There were plenty of household supplies and kitchen utensils. We lacked for nothing at all. The host was very responsive and pleasant. The only negative was being in the flight path of planes departing from San Diego airport.

The pictures don’t do it justice. It is such an incredible home in a great location. We absolutely loved the outdoor spaces with the incredible views, the open concept kitchen that flows into the living area and the bar, and the spacious rooms. Fantastic property with views for days, multiple unique seating options both inside and outdoors, in a well maintained home perfect for a large family or group of friends. Point Loma location is great for those wanting to gather with adult friends...quiet neighborhood of friendly, respectful people. Fantastic opportunity for plane spotters to see the departures roar past from SAN as well! Will absolutely be back. Host was very helpful and flexible, and made our last-minute booking seamless. I cannot recommend this home and this host enough.

Christmas in San Diego
Highly recommend this property. Eric the owner is responsive with any questions and provides everything needed for a nice stay. Being near the airport there is noice from planes flying overhead frequently, but we weren’t bothered by it and actually enjoyed watching the planes from the rooftop deck. Super convenient location for getting downtown or up to northern beach towns. We cooked a full Christmas dinner at the house and had everything we needed in the kitchen. The front and back outdoor spaces are very nice to enjoy the San Diego weather. We’ll stay there again when back in San Diego.

Fabulous Stay
We all loved staying at this property for our Thanksgiving family reunion. The house is perfectly situated in now one of my favorite areas of San Diego, Point Loma. The house itself was big enough for the 4 of us staying there and then hosting my parents and sister for Thanksgiving. We enjoyed the views from the front deck and roof, but my favorite spot was sitting in the backyard listening to the birds and enjoying the cool breeze. The kitchen was well equipped and large enough for two cooks in the kitchen. Eric was available when I had questions and provided quick response. Everyone in my family was super happy with the house, even my little min pin loved the stay. He was all smiles laying in the backyard sun and getting his daily walks through the beautiful neighborhood. I got to discover and appreciate OB, a quick drive from the house. Dog Beach was a hit with everyone. Overall I’m so happy to have found Eric’s beautiful home and share it with my loved ones.

Beautiful Haven for Bridal Maidens
Perfect location for 5 adults and a baby (2 couples, 1 single, and 10 month year old). Pretty close to the airport, downtown, gas station, and delicious food around. Beautiful view from the roof! Our girl friend's wedding weekend included bachelorette events beforehand. With a bunch of us visiting from out of town, we needed a place for girls to meet up to carpool or get ready. The gorgeous backyard was perfect for photos - Just so happens that the groom was US Navy, so the bridal theme was naval/sea and the clean anchored blue rug outside was perfect. We slept through the night despite the airplanes flying RIGHT above us. Also slept through my friend's baby crying so I think the walls are pretty crazy well isolated. I loveeee soaking tubs and huge 'rainfall' type showers, so the variety was quite special. Just a perfect stay. I'm already thinking of when I can come back. :)

Great home close to everything in Pt Loma
My family and I had a wonderful time at this beautiful home. This home literally has everything you need. The master bedroom is large, the huge walk in shower in the master bathroom is awesome. We loved hanging outside in the backyard and on the front porch with the cool fire table. We will definitely be going back to this home. Eric the owner was great and easy to deal with. I would definitely recommend this to anyone staying in Point Loma.

Lovely property. Very roomy. Close to everything you want to do on vacation. Only drawback was the airplane noise. While muted inside, it was hard to enjoy the outdoor patio areas.

Quintessential San Diego
If you're thinking of visiting San Diego, you can't do much better than this home. This comfortable property embodies the charm and flavor of San Diego. The property is clean, well equipped, and very comfortable. Is there jet noise? Sure, but that's hard to avoid in this city where the airport is virtually downtown, not to mention the birthplace of naval aviation being right across the bay. The views are spectacular and the location is a great jump off point for any of the fun things to do here. We enjoyed the fresh tomatoes and lemons out back! We've stayed at other locations in San Diego, but this easily ranks as the best.
