Our family stayed in several of Alex’s Culver City houses and loved their amenities and location. Alex was very quick to respond with any issues that arose.

I so wish I could give this property 5 stars. The location and space were great. But the squirrels were out of control. They ran across the roof all day and worse yet, scratched on the space over the bed constantly. I am guessing that is why the skylight/window over the bed has been boarded up. I would get on the bed and bang on the ceiling, and they would still keep scratching. I could not enjoy the beautiful outdoor space, as the squirrels were aggressive. I was also disappointed, as the listing says there is an oven (listed separately from microwave), and it does not. I planned on cooking for my son who I was visiting. The cell reception in the house is poor as well. I did not have trouble with wifi, but sometimes I could not make or receive a phone call at all, unless I stood in a particular spot and didn't move. I had to cancel a business call. Alex responded promptly when I messaged him, but I was not offered even the smallest of refunds.

This property was far too expensive than it should be. The bed was too close to the walls making it almost impossible to get into and the shower was broke spraying water all over the floor. The only positive was the backyard. We left a day early and suggested the host refund our second night which was paid. The host has not responded to our request.

This is a great property, so convenient to so much we wanted to do- and the neighborhood is wonderful! LOVE the Jackson Deli just steps away. The place was quiet, clean and comfortable, and our host was fantastic and responsive. We would definitely stay there again!

Nice. Clean property with everything we needed. Perfect space for all our needs. Very close to visiting our daughter. Backyard had a couple sitting areas as well as a lemon tree which was a special treat (inspired a freshman drop) along with the birds and cute squirrel. We would definitely stay here again.

The cottage offered everything we needed in great shape- well stocked kitchen, warm blankets, plenty of towels, excellent heat, so many lemons from the tree in the back yard! Our only negative: the bathroom was quite cold. Perhaps we didn't figure out heat in there but it could get chilly. The positive- a very rainy storm led to a leak. In the middle of the storm Alex sent a terrific guy over who took care of the problem. Their prompt response really was exemplary. I do love being so close to downtown Culver City and to Jackson's market- so close and yummy.

This Culver City gem is perfect for your get away! Located just blocks from downtown Culver with coffee shops, restaurants, Trader Joes, and more ! The little one bedroom house is clean and quiet and has a big backyard for unwinding and soaking up the sun! This was my second visit to this property and I will be back again! Alex is a great host!

We enjoyed discovering Culver City and being able to walk to all of the restaurants on Culver Blvd. There’s a great convenience store 3 doors down with great omelets, sandwiches and general groceries.

Private property with enclosed back yard. Effortless check-in. Convenient to Culver action of course but only few properties down from Jackson market which has everything you need. This is my first and only pick. You’ll love it.

The house was comfortable, cozy, and quiet. It was clean. It was exactly like the pictures. The backyard was a peaceful retreat. I loved the choices of seating areas. I could sit and read or relax amongst the lush landscape. A great getaway !

This is a wonderful spot. Lovely quiet neighborhood and steps to downtown. Decorated tastefully and very cozy. The backyard patio is a gem, filled with hummingbirds, colorful birds, citrus trees and a lovely water feature that made the stay even extra enjoyable. A great place to “nest” and a terrific home base for anything in the Culver City area.

A sweet little spot in a great location, we had fun staying here. It's set back from the road, so nice and quiet. The backyard is wonderful for sitting and get beautiful light. Everything we needed was there.

this was booked for an employee and he seemed to really enjoy staying here. He felt the owner was very friendly the property had everything he needed inclusing its own small back area.

The property was a short walk to a variety of cafes and restaurants. It had very easy access to the airport. I will stay there again.

Nice little cottage in a great neighborhood. Everything was a described and Alex was a great host. It’s the second time we’ve stayed at his place and we will be back.

My wife and I loved the house--it was cozy but plenty of space for two people. Everything was exactly as advertised, and the outdoor space behind the house was terrific for reading and relaxing. The only reason we removed one star from the rating was the next-door neighbors--they had a loud party that began early evening Friday and didn't end until the police came around 2:00 a.m. Then they started the party again Saturday afternoon and it didn't stop until midnight. The other nights, though, they were quiet, and perhaps this was an anomaly, especially because the neighbor itself was friendly and quiet.

I stayed in Alex's guest house in Culver City with my dad for several weeks. The place is really comfortable, and the location is amazing. Walking distance to downtown Culver and all the restaurants/theaters. My dad is handicapped and Alex's place was a good fit because it has a shower instead of a tub. Having a washer/dryer was amazing too. Really helpful. Alex was super helpful, I had a lot of special requests because of our special circumstances, and he was always available and did his very best to accomodate and help. Can't thank him enough. There is a cute little market about three houses down, they make the best sandwiches. Don't forget to check it out. Would love to stay there again sometime.

We loved staying at this cute bungalow. The place was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. Jackson market down the street was great for a quick breakfast or lunch and coffee. We enjoyed being within walking distance to Culver Street as well. This house is so close to our daughter we will definitely request to book again

This house is more beautiful and spacious in person than in the photos - everything is brand spankin' new, clean, and luxurious. It's in a perfect and safe location right in the center of downtown Culver near the Sony studios. Alex was a wonderful and accommodating host and I couldn't recommend this place more!

This place is absolutely lovely for a trip to LA. It is within walking distance from one of my favorite LA restaurants, Rush Street, and everything else in downtown Culver City for that matter. It’s a super quick scooter ride, or a nice leisure walk. There is also one spot in the drive way if you have a car. Alex was always quick to respond and wonderfully accommodating.

This place is such a beautiful gem! I needed a place to stay one night en route to San Diego and am so happy to have found it because it's away from the WeHo and Beverly Hills crowd but still extremely close to all the good restaurants in those locations. Alex and Larissa are super sweet hosts who also made check-in and check-out swift. I would definitely recommend staying here if you're looking for a safe, quieter, low-key, and beautifully decorated place to stay while in LA!

Alex is a great host! He welcomed me when I arrived and showed me around in the area, provided me with useful info of the neighborhood. The place was amazing with its well-decorated design. Basic necessities were all in the house. Unfortunately, due to tight work schedule, I was not able to enjoy the private backyard of the unit which was literally amazing! I'll surely come back again for this place!
