Na prawdę było świetnie. Widok z okna na morze przecudowny. Pokój był czysty, było wszystko co potrzeba. Na przywitanie dostałem sok, właściciel też opowiedział mi historię o tsunami widząc moje zainteresowanie zabytkową łodzią która tam się znajdowała. Jadłem też śniadanie i było świetne. Jak dla mnie lokalizacja na plus, cisza, spokój, dużo mniej tłoczna plaża, a transport łatwy i tani - autobusami które kursują co kilkanaście minut. Jestem bardzo zadowolony i z chęcią wrócę za rok.

4 super schöne Tage bei herrlichen Gastgebern an traumhaften Strand. Hatten das 3 Bettzimmer mit Meerblick im Erdgeschoss. Geräumig, sehr sauber. Liegen am Strand verfügbar. Frühstück kann dazu gebucht werden. Auch Abendessen ist nach vorheriger Anmeldung möglich. Man kann Kaffee, Shake, Säfte und Mittags z.B. Rotti bekommen. Der Strand ist fantastisch und mit dem Tuktuk ist man in knapp 10 Minuten in Hikkaduwa. Die Gastgeber sind herzlich und versuchen jeden Wunsch zu erfüllen.

I liked most the warmth of the family running the property, such nice people that you dont want to leave them. Food was just so delicious. This is home made food not restaurant. The ocean is just by the property.

Die Unterkunft wird mir in besonderer Erinnerung bleiben - sie strahlt Ruhe und Entspannung aus. Die Lage ist traumhaft, alles ist sauber, das Frühstück lecker, die Betreiber sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wenn man ein kurzes Stück am Strand entlang geht, kommen nette Restaurants. Die Wellen waren nicht zu hoch. Ein paar Schritte weiter endet die Bucht und dort sind die Wellen niedriger, gut mit Kind. In unmittelbarer Nähe gibt es Kioske und einen Supermarkt.

Sehr schöne und gut ausgestattete Unterkunft, die an einem ruhigen Strandabschnitt gelegen ist. Super zum entspannen und schwimmen! Die Unterkunft hat Liegen und Strandhandtücher, die zur freien Verfügung stehen. Wenn man möchte, ist man innerhalb von 10 Minuten mit dem Bus oder TukTuk im Trubel von Hikkaduwa, am Turtle Beach oder auf der Restaurantmeile.
Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder!

The property was on the beach front.. Very nice location, the staff was very courteous, hospitable and helpful, the price was reasonable and the stay left a memorable picture in the brain…
There are some mosquitoes and the bed was creaking all the time in the night which disturbed the sleep… the creaking sound to be rectified…

Der Aufenthalt war toll, die Zimmer und das Bad sind extrem sauber. Zudem ist das Personal super freundlich und das Frühstück war sehr lecker und liebevoll zubereitet. Die Lage direkt am Strand ist super.

Had a wonderful stay in Sailors Bay. You get a welcome drink for free and the family will offer always the best for you. Awesome view and nice big and clean rooms! recommended place 10/10!

If you are planning to stay in Hikkiduwa you must consider this place! It is few kilometers away from the busy town and you can definitely relax here and take slow daily walks on the beach to the main town!
Place is super clean, breakfast is delicious and owners are just lovely :) Would definitely stay again!

The bus dropped us right outside sailors bay. We were greeted with a fresh papaya juice. The room consisted of a mini fridge and an electric kettle. Toiletries were provided by property. You could easily access the beach, since the beach was right behind property. The management was very friendly and hospitable. Would definitely come back it we were ever to come back to hikkka. It went above and beyond our expectations.

I had the upstairs sea view room which was lovely - great view.
The hosts were super friendly, helpful, nothing was too much trouble
the eggs /breakfast were delicious!
it was a little bit out of where the main action is - which was fine for us but you may want to stay further up. otherwise it’s a short walk/tuk tuk away ..
the bed was very creaky and mattress not that comfy.

Very friendly staff and owners, we had a lovely two nights and days at sailor's bay, beautiful private beach and possiblity to order food from a restaurant nearby. Best hotel so far on our trip!

Everything was very good. The beach is just a few steps from the entrance. The employees were hospitable and helpful when we needed.
1. We checked in early in the morning without any problems.
2. We could exchange money in the guest house (with a good rate).
3. One of the guys gave an interview to my husband as he was shooting a video about the country.
4. I left nasal drops while checking out in the room, then we could come back and took them back.

We loved the location! directly at the beach but far enough away from the touristy areas. The owner was incredibly nice and even organized a very cheap scooter for us. Rooms had everything we needed and were super clean.

Lovely welcoming hosts! :) Our sea facing room had such a nice view and breakfasts were delicious! It's about a 50 minute beach walk to coral reef beach but it was nice to be out of the busy town.

This place is so cozy and nice! The staff are some of the most friendly people we have met and are always ready to help you with tips for your time in Sri Lanka. Also, the rooms are very clean and if you need anything, tell them and it will be there right away.
The breakfast is nice and simple, with a lot of delicious fresh fruit, toast and eggs.

The place is amazing and the host is very helpful as well. The property is located on the beach so that was great.

It was clean and true to photos! The owners were very hospitable and ask after our needs very frequently. It was by the beach and hence very convenient if we walked to take a spontaneous stroll. Also, since it was a private beach (tho shared with other property nearby), it was relatively quiet and peaceful.

My partner and I had a very peaceful stay at Sailor' Bay! Sanoj and his brother are really amazing people, super helpful and made us feel at home! The ocean was right infront and beautiful. They also served a home style breakfast which was good. Over all, if you want a quiet, cozy, ocean front stay,yet not too far away from the buzzing Hikkaduwa,this is where you wanna be !!
There were a few power cuts, and they don't have back up/generator. But it was fine by us since we timed our going out according to the power cuts.

Perfect location with beautiful beach. Good Restaurants in walking distance. Few meters to local shops with everything what you need(fresh fruit,vegetable,bread,fish,etc..) Breakfast was tasty and rich of everything from local products. The owners, two brothers are very kind and helpful, and they do everything to fulfill what you need.

Great place to relax and read on the beach away from all the action on Hikkaduwa Beach (Although within walking distance or a short Tuk Tuk ride). Nice restaurants up and down the beach.
Dilan makes sure all is taken care of, from laundry to recharging my SIM card.
Breakfast is terrific, on the beach.
