Il villaggio è l'atmosfera giapponese e il letto (anche se impolverato assai)

Bagni senza doccia, assenza di acqua calda, onsen con muffa, struttura infestata da umidità, molta polvere, assenza di riscaldamento fuori dalla stanza

centrally located on main street in Shibu Onsen near all the 9 public onsen, simple Japan style accommodation with friendly host who picked us up from Yudanaka station and made a lovely breakfast. Had a lovely sushi at Kozushi restaurant around corner (made a booking via our host)

the place is a little dated and sleeping on the floor was hard

Yuko san and his husband was very kind and helpful. Nice location

Price is upscale but The ryokan is in a run down.. not well maintained and dusty! I was in the annex building -quite scary to be honest.

A bit worn and outdated but it will get you into the 9 onsen - the owners are exceptionally nice.

The location is absolutely perfect if you are going to the 9 onsen

the hosts were so lovely, they helped us with everything we needed including finding the right bus, answering questions we had about the town and restaurants, and they even drove us to the station. extremely friendly and accommodating. the facility had an “old school charm” about it that some would call outdated. to us, it felt like staying at someone’s home which was comforting. for the price, it was good value if you can overlook outdated furniture or old curtains and carpets. no coffee or meals are available but there is a kettle and small fridge in the room so we brought our own coffee and snacks.

The staff was so nice, they came to pick me up to yudanaka station and also got me to the jigokudani monkey park entrance! The room was wide and cozy too, and the ambiance was really genuine.
