mattress slightly too hard

the staff were nice and the food was good.

the room was FREEZING, the thermostat was in german so unable to work it and when you turn the temp up it went back down. the bin in our room wasn’t chNged so had sanitary products still in it. and the television didn’t work.

Room was fine, well appointed with good drinks making facilities. Steakhouse pub was good food and drinks, with free parking on site. Location was handy for what we needed.

Room was too cold for us and couldn't get it to warm up, despite assurances it would take some time to do so, but would warm. Wife complained she was cold overnight too. Pub was cold too, especially if sitting near the windows.

Room was very nice, beds comfy and great to have a coffee machine in the room, overall the restaurant and hotel is well decorated and clean. It was a short walk into town where there are other pubs/restaurants for dinner too. Our stay was quiet and peaceful for a stop-over on our visit to see friends.

Some dust/cobwebs on the ceiling in the bathroom that could have been cleared. Was a little unsure of where the entrance was as it was dark. I may have missed it but some instructions of where to go when you arrive would be great as the restaurant and hotel share the same entrance. Overall minor things as we enjoyed the stay!

The room was well set up with lots of nice touches - coffee machine, local toiletries etc

TV reception, couldn't watch standard BBC channels Although the meet and greet was first class the follow up service (dinner and breakfast) there was no "is everything OK? " which I found a little strange

First time staying at Harpers Haslemere, and hopefully I’ll stay there again. Room was excellent, with all modern amenities, very comfortable bed, good coffee machine, nice hot shower. Really enjoyed the food, perfect steaks at night and a full and filling breakfast. The highlight for me however was the playlist in the restaurant, music that took me back to my youth, all the funk, soul and jazz tunes that were part of my life for so many years. Loved it.

Although the drinks range was extensive there wasn’t a traditional ale to drink, the Meantime IPA was nice, but not quite the same.

A very long way round to the night entrance/ exit in the cold. The bacon rolls were sandwiches and not as described in the menu.

Everything was perfect and I would stay again. Thankyou to the staff member in the morning who was very understanding and caring when I wasn't very well

First morning there was someone stood right outside the patio on phone for a while and then strimmed grass for about an hour after. But nothing major just meant couldn’t have natural light in room for some of morning as didn’t want to open curtains to someone stood outside

Clean and comfortable room. Very helpful and friendly staff. Excellent food.

All good no issues

We liked most of it. We particularly liked the location opposite the train station and the thematic design.

Bathroom shape and layout made it feel a bit small / tight.
