Hotel is a wedding venue so it was quite noisy in the evening.

nice atmosphere breakfast was ok for the cost, we had a discount. I would have felt unhappy had I paid full price.

lack of storage and no surfaces in the bathroom. dinner menu was good but the execution was limited. lacked flavour and some dishes were dangerously hot.

the room was cosy and warm, staff were excellent and the shower was great!

as is to be expected with a property of this age, it was quite noisy (creaking floor boards, voices carrying etc) and if you are tall, beware! the ceiling beams are very low.

Quirky building, comfortable rooms, helpful staff

Booking.com website said midnight closure for reception, inhouse literature said 11pm - manager offered to stay until 12 which was great. Mentioned to owner next day who said he would amend booking.com entry Unfortuntately restaurant and bar were closed due to staff illness whcih meant we didn't get chance to check ut the whole experience

Everything about the place is amazing. The team have great customer service and very accommodating.. The place has a lovely quirkiness to it and it felt homely. The beds are very comfortable and breakfast was just lovely. Very clean also. I can't until my next visit.

Amazing hotel with incredibly nice staff and owners. We felt this was a good place from the time we booked and we were not disappointed. We will be coming to the region more often and we are glad we found a great place to stay. We highly recommend it and we will definitely be back! Very comfortable place with easy parking. The rooms are lovely, quiet and very comfortable. The whole place is beautiful and you can see they put a lot of love and work into it.

This is a lovely building and the room was charming and very comfortable. The WiFi was good and the bed very comfortable. The staff were particularly attentive and charming.

From the minute we walked in to Random hall hotel we thought what a stunning place.. It was our first night alone as a married couple and we was welcomed with delight. We had an amazing room and was decorated with rose petals and a bottle of prescecco on ice for us.. the food was amazing and the staff was very friendly and welcoming.. We will definitely come back to stay.

Excellent service. A hands-on owner that really cares. A lovely idyllic location. Everything a hotel should be with food to die for. I recommend this hotel without hesitation.

Great little room (freshly re-decorated), on ground floor, so very convenient for bar and restaurant. Superb breakfast (both mornings), especially local smoked salmon! Very hospitable host/owner who made me very welcome.
