距离汽车站和佛牙寺都不是很近，步行很难抵达，需要打突突车。

Nous avons été très bien accueillis et le personnel est vraiment dévoué pour que tout se passe bien. Bon petit déjeuner et vue sympa sur le lac depuis leur salle de restaurant. Vingt minutes à pied pour aller en ville. Je recommande la pizzeria 50m de l’hôtel.

Le matelas à ressorts et le restaurant Sakura qui est juste en face et qui a fait beaucoup de bruit pendant ces 2 nuits où nous étions là. C’est dommage car cela dessert l’hôtel.

Nach dem wir uns über das Zimmer nach hinten beschwert haben, wurde uns nach 2 Nächten ein Zimmer nach vorne raus mit Aussicht gegeben. Das war schön.

Das erste Zimmer nach hinten raus, war nicht wie im Text beschrieben.Es sollte geräumig und schalldicht sein, war aber extrem klein und so hellhörig, dass man den Nachbarn beim Zähne putzen hören konnte.

Pohodlné postele, nádherný výhled. Bohužel hodnotím jiný pokoj, než který byl přes booking.com rezervovaný.

Pokoj objednaný přes booking.com absolutně neodpovídal fotografiím, byla to miniaturní temná skrýš bez oken. Hned po příjezdu jsme museli požádat o jiný pokoj, který odpovídal fotografiím, ale museli jsme si připlatit. Tento pokoj měl moc krásný výhled a celkově vypadal mnohem lépe. Ubytování je ve velkém kopci a celkem daleko do centra, ikdyž to na mapě tak nevypadá.

Super balcony, clean, very comfy bed, goood shower and great view. Easy to walk to town and very nice breakfast.

Bella vista dalla sala colazione, camera abbastanza spaziosa e pulita, va benissimo per un breve soggiorno. Vicino ai posti per mangiare, bella zona con viste panoramiche.

Wi-Fi non funzionante, proprietari totalmente assenti se hai bisogno di qualcosa (non c’è mai nessuno alla reception), acqua della doccia non tanto calda (un po’ fredda e un po’ tiepida).

What we liked most were the views from the room, during breakfast and the breakfast itself. The room had a fan, air conditioning and a mosquito net. If you don't have hot water, go to reception and they will turn it on - we didn't know that. We had really good Wi-Fi which worked great throughout our stay. The accommodation is located a 20-minute walk from the center. If you don't want to climb the 5-minute hill towards the end, you can use a TukTuk for a maximum of 200. Use the Booking maps when searching.

As for our room, the bathroom and door was a weak spot. After you close it was difficult to open again just with a ring hanging on the door. Also there was too many mosquitoes inside. The staff won’t be too enthusiastic if you do not want to use their services related to transport and activities in the city. But I have to say that the staff is very nice and accommodating.

My bed did not have a mosquito net.

Hôtel idéalement situé dans les hauteurs (ça grimpe un petit peu), à l'écart du tumulte de la ville (qui est à 5-10min à pied). On entend les oiseaux ! Chambre très agréable et bien équipée avec un petit balcon privatif et une vue sur la ville et son lac. Hôte francophone (qui parle très bien le français), très gentil et accueillant. Ils nous a bien renseigné sur les activités possibles de Kandy et ses alentours, voir même sur la suite de notre voyage sur l'île, avec de très bons conseils sur les sites à visiter ou les moyens de transport. Petit déjeuner délicieux avec vue imprenable !

Der Ausblick vom Balkon runter auf die Stadt bei Tag und bei Nacht einfach TOP. Der Preis von Zimmer unseres Erachtens extrem günstig. Frühstück immer frisch vom Hotelkoch zubereitet. Abendessen auf Anfrage auch kein Problem. Eigentümer super super nett und spricht DEUTSCH. 50 Meter entfernt gute Pizzeria.

Nebenan waren wir beim Essen, nicht empfehlenswert.

Great service. Owner very polite and welcoming. Regularly checking that everything was going well.

There were small red ants that came into the room and caused some disturbances but nothing major. Likely my own fault probably spilt some juice on my bag prior to coming.

Excellent location close to the temple ...around 20 minutes walking distance. View from room was pleasant as we had a balcony. Facilities and Western breakfast were very good. Coffee and tea making facilities available and the room had a lovely colour scheme and comfy bed. Friendly owner and staff

Nothing to complain about. Just steep roads which is normal in Kandy.

- the kindness and hospitality of Muhamed and its staff, je gave us very good tips and tricks and eased our trip to Kandy ALOT. - the view of Kandy, amazing - distance from Kandy is at a walkable distance. -breakfast is genuine and abundant. Be sure to eat the egg hopper :)

- we had two cockroaches in our room the first night. We killed them and they never came back, but just in case, inform the staff. - the sink was loosing water, we could not use it properly after the first night.

The owner here made our stay! He was very generous, providing us with local recommendations and ensuring we didn’t get trapped by any tourist cons. We stayed here for 3 nights and had a lovely Sri Lankan breakfast cooked for us everyday which varied including egg hoppers, omelette, fruit, pancakes etc. The location was lovely providing us with a wonderful view from our balcony! We could even spot lots of cheeky monkeys around us. It only took 5 minutes to be down by the lake, but of course this is very big to walk around. The guest house is also near a few lovely restaurants including a Vito Pizza (this was our first non-Sri Lankan dinner and was worth it), as well as the viewing point of the city.

The shower was a bit temperamental so we struggled to get warm-hot water. However, in such a hot country this isn’t a huge problem. We also had a few ants in the bathroom but the owners quickly sorted this out for us.

Their hospitality was exceptional. Spectacular view from the hotel. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. I strongly recommend it.

Weird smell of towels :)

Nice guest house in line with other guest houses in Sri Lanka. Owner was very friendly, helpful and provided us with good advice and suggestions. It’s at the top of a long, steep road, it felt good to get our steps in but something to consider if not that mobile.

Despite being one of the few guests at the time, the manager/owner did not know what room we had booked when we arrived. We were taken to a deluxe room and it was later mentioned that we had to pay ~$3 more per night as we were in a deluxe room. Not a major issue considering the price of the accommodation but worth mentioning. There did not appear to be much difference between the deluxe and standard view rooms, save for the deluxe being higher = slightly better views.

The breakfast was really good with a view! Staff friendly and the room clean. Close to the lake and if you get a room a bit higher then we did you have a great view.

It was a little bit too far from the city center with a hill. Walking down no problem but home we took a tuktuk.

The host at Highest View was very kind and helpful. The property is within walking distance from Kandy Lake, up a windy steep road, but was very do-able. Our room was lovely with a small balcony from which you could see Kandy Lake.

Breakfast was adequate but with little variety. The hotel opposite was rather noisy and played music a little too loud and too late for us.

Very friendly Staff and a quit location. In 3 minutes walk you are on the lakeside. The breakfast was also nice and every morning different.

Wonderful spot with an amazing view. The breakfast was vary yummy and the staff was great!

The only complaint was the tuk tuk driver that was set up through them. He seemed super nice but after we went just to a few spots and we're done for the day he took us to a "spice farm" that was "free". It was just a scam shop and was vary un comfortable with pushy sales people trying to sell wacky creams and super expensive vary old basic house hold spices. They will wrap you in to spending a ton of money unless you say "nope I'm leaving" right away. Luckily we could spot it shortly after we arrived and got the F out of there! Would have expected that setting something up with the hotel we would be able to avoid that kinda stuff.
