The room was lovely, and there's tea and coffee facilities in the room. The hotel is in a fantastic location for central Kandy, but still very quiet for sleeping at night. There's also an attached cafe downstairs, if you're feeling lazy and don't fancy venturing very far for food.

Considering that the room price did not include breakfast, it wasn't the best value for money compared to other places I stayed in Sri Lanka, and I also felt that the breakfast served in the cafe was not great quality or value for money - again, compared to other places I ate at.

The Aroma Inn is situated right in the middle of the Kandy Town amidst the busy streets. Among all the hustle and bustle of the streets and tiny side roads is this amazing hotel!! If you want to really "Feel" the vibe of Kandy Town you cannot find a better place. The rooms are spacious and clean and very beautifully decorated. So cosy and comfy! The bathroom was clean and spacious and all toiletries were provided. The restaurant was exceptional with an absolutely brilliant and varied menu and very reasonable too. The "English" breakfast was truly brilliant and included everything you would expect and more! My wife is particular about her food and does not eat anything an everything but the restaurant here had everything she craved for and she was really into the food provided! I have been to Kandy many times and stayed at many hotels including 5 star hotels but the Aroma Inn really blew me away and made me forget that 5 star hotels even exist as we were given 5 star treatment from beginning to end!! Such a wonderful welcome and staff go out of their way to ensure all your needs are met and more. I was on my honeymoon and our stay at Aroma Inn added to our special unforgettable memories!!

The rooms look much better in the pictures. There are stains on the walls, the rooms are very dark, the furniture has many scratches ... in general it just feels very old.
