Excellent chinese and western breakfast. Exit 3 from tangzhen, 2 escalators turn left cross the river and cross the traffic, the building is on the right "Commercial Plaza".

From train station to hotel no shelter at all.

Great location close to a subway station, easy to be found when walking from there (even with luggage). We really appreciated the clerk who check us in to the room. Not sure how it happened, but somehow we were initially overcharge - about 8 euro more than we were supposed to (I think regular vs Genius rate). We just came from a long flight so I didn't realise and we moved along to the room. The check in employee then came pro-actively to our room (about 10 mins later), apologised multiple times and refunded us the differences, which was credited immediately to our Mastercard (yes, visa/mastercard is working here). Overall a great experience in a clean (and I think new?) hotel, that also allowed us to check out later (2pm!), much appreciated after our very late check in at 7am.

We arrived on a Shanghai winter morning, there were very strong and cold winds in the area. As we were staying on one of the higher floors we could hear the winds going around the building and our room, which was also hard to get heated that morning.

Staff were really good and helpful. although no one spoke English they had a translating recorder. I arrived earlier than check in time, my room was ready so they let me go in.

The WiFi didn’t work on my phone

Night staff were exceptionally polite and helpful.

1. Location - walking distance to Metro station, Starbucks and what seems to be a small shopping centre. 2. Breakfast - options were more on local (Chinese) style, not many selections for Continental/western style beyond the basic. 3. Room size - a bit tight for 2 adults, but still acceptable (enough room to lay 2 small-medium size suitcases, and a small writing table to put personal belongings), adequate bathroom size too. 4. Front office was helpful with calling taxis in the morning.

1. Cleanliness can be improved - during our stay, used mug was not cleaned by housekeeping. Beds were not properly made. 2. No proper lighting, whether in bathroom or in bedroom, to put on basic makeup.

Breakfast was good, though children did not know how to use a buffet without touching the food. Having a staff member in the buffet area to help guide unaccompanied children would be helpful.

Was given a room someone had just smoked in. Staff upgraded me to a larger room in response to the issue. The rooms though newly made have a lack of finishing touches. Painting isn’t clean, shoe kikcs do not meet flush with the floor, etc.

location is great staff are professional very nice humble and they always want to help hotel very clean and decorations is new rooms are big with beautiful design and have everything needed iron and ironing board ,seating area, ….. etc the designer of the room thought about all details and tools needed ) all the time there were extra bottles of drinking water that was nice of the house keeping staff bed very comfortable and hotel is calm and great to relax breakfast is very good i highly recommend this hotel

the noise isolation can be improved. the indoor material feels cheap in some place, the main door doesn’t stop the noise and generate big noise when closing. other than this the rest is good.

Good location, clean room, great breakfast when it was open before the citywide lockdown, very helpful staff especially manager Sunny who helped me with several things including online purchases, testing for travel back etc. during difficult times in Shanghai due to epidemic related city-wide lockdown.

Room size - could be a little wider

Very clean! It felt brand new. Things were disinfected often. Hand sanitizer in the elevator. It was about a 5-10 minute walk to a metro station and about a 45 minute ride over to the Bund area. Breakfast was surprisingly varied and good! Staff was friendly. Later checkout time (2pm) and they held our bags for us for several hours til our evening flight.
