Great location with cracking view. Walking distance into Ella, but off the main strip so it was nice and quiet.
Some water in the room would’ve been nice, but everything else was fab!

The view here is stunning, the exact same view as from the fancy Ekho Hotel, you have a perfect view of Adam’s Peak and Ella Rock. The small deck chairs on the balcony were perfect for relaxing on & enjoying the view. Hosts were really lovely and extremely accommodating, happy to help with anything we needed. Room & bathroom were clean, having a small fridge in the room was really nice! The location was also good with a 5 minute or so walk to the main street. Value for money was really good, especially with breakfast included, which was served on the beautiful balcony at any time we requested. Thank you :)
Only down side was no aircon in our room, but this is pretty standard for Ella. Fine to sleep at night with the fan on, but can get quite warm during the day. I was still able to nap though!

Extrem liebe, herzliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Sie haben uns jeden Wunsch von den Lippen gelesen und machten unseren Aufenthalt unvergesslich. Die Aussicht war top, das Zimmer sauber und das Frühstück lecker und abwechslungsreich. Restaurants, little Adams Peak und Ella Rock alles in Gehdistanz zur Unterkunft.

Amazing view of Ella Rock from the balcony. We saw a lot of birds, monkeys and squirrels. Great to have the delicious breakfast here. A short, but steep road to get to the centre of Ella. Worth it for the view though. Very clean, large room that didn't need airco (had a fan).
A lot of mosquitoes in the bathroom, sometimes ants, and a froggy in the bathroom. But in the middle of nature so to be expected.

La propriétaire et son fils sont absolument adorables et font tout pour vous aider. La vue depuis la terrasse est magnifique. On est au calme tout en étant pas très loin de la rue principale d’Ella. Le petit déjeuner était copieux.
La route n’est pas facile d’accès en voiture mais le fils de la proprio est venu me chercher en tuk tuk.

מיקום של חמש דקות הליכה לרחוב המרכזי (אחרי עליה רצינית)
הבעלים הקפיץ אותנו בטוק טוק לרכבת על דעת עצמו.
החדר- מלוכלך , מלא בחרקים. המון נמלים במקלחת, ג׳וקים במרפסת בשעות הערב שנכנסים גם לחדר עצמו, יתושים (יש כילה אבל אין איך לסגור אותה .....)

Вид с террасы великолепен! Уютное тихое место и совсем рядом с центральной улицей. Приветливые хозяева, которые реально делают все, чтобы вам было здесь комфортно. Хорошие завтраки на террасе.
Надо внимательно смотреть, какой номер бронируешь. Есть там без вида комната.

Przepiękny widok z tarasu, najlepsza lokalizacja w Ella, 11/10!
Ładny, duży pokój (polecam najwyższe piętro), bardzo miła właścicielka. Doradziła nam jak najlepiej dostać się do kolejnej lokalizacji, zaangażowała nawet męża, aby pomógł nam podczas przesiadki w innym mieście, w którym pracował, bezpłatnie podwieziono nas tuk tukiem na przystanek autobusowy.
Śniadanie smaczne, w standardzie lankijskim, tosty z dżemem, rotti, omlet, soczewica, owoce. Serwowane na tarasie z widokiem na góry smakuje wyśmienicie.
Spokojna okolica, nad łóżkiem moskitiera.
Na pewno zarezerwowalibyśmy ten obiekt ponownie.
Łazienka mogłaby już zostać wyremontowana... były w niej mrówki.
W pokoju nie ma klimatyzacji, jedynie wiatrak, ale pogoda w górach jest taka, że nie przeszkadzało nam to w ogóle.
Obiekt jest położony tak, że trzeba podejść kawałek pod górkę, dla tego widoku warto, ale może dla kogoś będzie to problem.
WiFi działało raczej kiepsko, ale myślę, że każdy i tak ma swój Internet.
Mimo tych małych minusów i tak gorąco polecam, bo otoczenie wynagradza wszystko!

Die Familie ist unglaublich freundlich. Ich habe dort meine Wäsche waschen und sogar eine kaputte Hose nähen lassen, das alles zu einem wirklich fairen Preis. Die Unterkunft ist ruhig gelegen und das Frühstück ist auch gut. Das Zimmer war gut ausgestattet und sauber.
Der einzige Nachteil ist der Hügel, den man hochlaufen muss, wenn man nach Ella will. Ohne Gepäck und Kinder einfach, mit stelle ich mir realtiv schwierig vor.

Very helpful staff, they arrange the transfer from Ella to Mirissa. And have a great view outside from your room 😀. If I have time, I will stay longer to explore Ella. Definitely will come back to stay here again.

The family was all smiley and friendly. The view from the balcony was superb. Location was good however it is very steep to get to the geusthouse. For peoople in normal condition, that is not a problem, but the place may not be suitable for elderly people.
Breakfast was simple but tasty.
Unfortunately the rooms are very moldy and have a very bad smell. The rooms were not well equiped. The towels and sheet were very old.

What a great hospitality of the owner, amazing views from the balcony, clean room and clean balcony, tasty breakfast. 5 Min walk to the main road in Ella but quiet to sleep.
You can see lots of monkeys from the balcony and it‘s a lot of fun to watch them!

The host is the most welcoming lady ❤️ breakfast was amazing, served in the terrace with an amazing view. Room was spacious and in the standard for what concerns cleaning. I saw a little gecko but after one week in sri lanka I consider it normal.
The position is good, 5 minutes walking from the centre, 10 minutes from the station. There is a short (1min) but quite steep climb to get to the centre, which is also very very dark during evenings. But it’s such short that it’s not a problem.

Good location and breakfast...very big portions of fruit toast tea coffee and great staff. Regarding the location it is nestled in the forest and up a huge hill (only downside) and do not go during the rainy season. Nothing will dry if wet.
The bed, room, shower, sink, lack of air-conditioning and floors were very poor for a really nice view...if i could sleep outside it wouldve been more comfortable. I think something bit me most of the night and ants covered a packet of sugar within minute when waking up. Facilities too old or not upgraded in the far side room but walking past the next door room it looked like a totally different hotel. Be careful which room ur given

The view from this place is just insanely beautiful, breathtaking honestly!!!
Bedrooms don’t have ACs but you definitely don’t need it because it gets colder in Ella in the evening. It is located perfectly in city center but also quiet and secluded.

Green village has an amazing view over mount Ella. It is clean, well taken care of and has a great value-for money.
The property owner is a VERY kind & nice person, as well as everybody on staff here. We felt safe and happy to come back every time.
We have been here twice on different occasions.
It is hard to reach here because of the steep road leading to the property, although the breathtaking view and the quiet worth it in our opinion.
