The Bebington was advertised as a hotel. It says’Bebington Hotel’ on the building but it is not a hotel. It is a B&B. Because of this we were expecting a much higher standard of accommodation. Our room was on the second floor up 4 flights if steep stairs. Had it been a hotel as described there would have been a lift. Also we expected to be able to have an evening meal. Instead we had to drive to a pub. We are extremely disappointed that this was misleadingly described on booking.com

The Turkish restaurant at Daker Hill that was recommended

Shower was hopeless to point of unusability, I turned to bath and after half hour of running (and distressingly wasting) a significant volume of water I eventually stared to get hot water, after nearly an hour I had enough hot water in the bath that I could wash my hair in and I use d the bathmat as a towel to wrap it in. The wallpaper was pealing off the walls, breakfast would be only considered as good if you only eat a fry up. I was only given 1 towel (no hand towel) and TV remote was in need of fresh batteries. Think they are more geared towards travelling working men.

We had a spacious double room which was tastefully decorated and had a small comfortable seating area. The room and bathroom were very clean. The breakfast was individually cooked to perfection! The staff were welcoming and friendly.

Room 9 had a sloping attic roof. Bathroom should have had blinds or curtains.

Perfect location for our stay. Port Sunlight & museum 10 minutes drive. We were travelling by ferry to Isle of Man and hotel was only 20 minutes by car from the ferry port. Excellent breakfast and very friendly helpful owner.
