This is a great location and place to stay. It was large enough for the extended family. It was great having direct beach access and use of the pools and hot tubs. I would recommend. However, I will be more cautious when booking corporate ran places going forward. Having only basic supplies of 1 toilet paper roll, 1 dishwasher soap run, etc is more hassle and costly than it is worth. When I stay at privately owned places all of this is taken care of. I don't have to worry about buying a small dishwasher soap so I can run the dishwasher while I'm there, etc. Also, be cautious, when staying here, if you leave the windows open to get a cross breeze (and not use the A/C), your fire alarms will go off due to the humanity. I called the corporate number and they had no clue and were not concerned. We found out from neighbors as to the humidity issue.

The property was very nice and well maintained. It is bigger than many of the other places we have rented over the years. It was perfect for our 10 person family. The 10 person dining table was also a nice feature.

We were a family of 6 adults so space was important. The description and photos we saw were accurate- it was a beautiful spot. The view from the balcony was amazing - we even saw dolphins! This condo had a well equipped kitchen, four bedrooms with comfortable beds and exceptionally clean. The location was good - right at the beach but also a good size pool and lazy river.

We traveled from Va with four teenagers and six adults. We were comfortable with plenty of room in this unit. The facility was well maintained, quiet and convenient. When we checked in one of the AC units wasn’t working. We called and within an hour it was fixed. The management company that manages this property is great. If I had one negative I would say that the carpets are worn and torn in some areas. They need to be replaced. Beds comfy, pillows and bedding clean and kitchen well equipped

First time staying at this location, we normally stay down in MB @ Sandy Beach Resort. We decided to get out of all the hustle and go for a quieter location. We absolutely loved it !! The room was large enough for 7 adults comfortably!! Let’s talk about the balcony!! We could have lived out there ! We enjoyed so much we would love to come back again!!

I spent a 4-day weekend with 6 sibs in a corner unit, and we enjoyed all aspects of our stay. We were able to check in early when we called as requested. No problem with parking even when we needed a 3rd pass for a visitor. The beach was great and the balcony view was phenomenal. Furnishings were as pictured and were comfortable for us to spend hours visiting. Beds all slept comfortably. Kitchen was well equipped. Our only complaint was that there was no screen in the sliding glass door and we were specifically instructed not to leave the door open because it would set off the smoke alarms. My brother stayed at a high rise just a few blocks away and they had no such requirement. We have stayed in other condos at other beaches and never had a problem. We come to the beach when the weather is more moderate and missed being able to open the door to hear the surf and feel the breeze. Finally, we followed the restaurant recommendations provided by Luxury Rentals and had all wonderful meals and service. It was a great experience.

Condo was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The view from our balcony was beautiful and the beach was just a short walk away. The kitchen was stocked with cookware, utensils, cups, glasses etc., and there was even a storage area with chairs and body boards for the beach. Everyone had a wonderful time on our vacation. I would definitely recommend this rental!

We had an amazing time at this property. Honestly it was above our expectations! The place is gorgeous and very spacious, breathtaking view out of the balcony, smelled very nice and no bugs whatsoever. Outstanding service too, all my requesting and questions were promptly answered. Will definitely stay there again.

We had a great time during our stay at the Southwind Resort in Myrtle Beach. The accommodations more than met our needs. The beach was easily accessible and provided a beautiful of the ocean from the balcony. the unit also offered the necessary amenities for a group of 11 people which included 2 babies. The fire alarm went off in the unit 3 times which appeared to be related when balcony doors were open. This was the only major negative about our stay. We will consider staying here again in the future.

Overall positive based on being at the Beach. For the price I expect for the interior of the Condo to be top notch and it wasnt. The dining room chairs were being held together with some kind of brackets and I thought that was not great. As to the overall cleanliness I thought it was nice, But in a few of the showers there was mold, particularly in the Master, on the sill of the interior of the shower. I put that I wouldnt recommend it to someone, but I also do not know that I would stay in this unit again.

We had a great experience at South Wind. Room 1101 was just what we had hoped for. It was clean, very spacious, and well maintained. We had a beautiful oceanfront view. The pools were clean and we loved being directly on the beach. There were plenty of restaurants to choose from within just a few miles. We would definitely return.

Perfection
This was an absolutely spotless beautiful condo in a great building . It was perfect for our family of 6 (and could have fit 10 people Ie 4 adults 6 kids). The management team was very fast to reply to a minor issue. We would stay again 100%. Thank you for letting us use yiour beautiful home away from home.

Just what we were hoping for
Amazing view, and balcony. I loved getting up watching the sunrise. Location close to everything, but did not feel commercial at the condo, and beach. It was very quiet. Like others has said, plenty of room. We had 8 adults. I enjoy cooking, and had most meals planned- kitchen was a little sparse with cooking sheet pans, mixing bowls, etc. But plenty of pots and pans- and wine utensils! Low beach chairs/cart/umbrella are available for the beach. Overall very clean, comfortable, and relaxing.

Lovely stay
This was a beautiful condo. Everything was nice and clean. Beautiful views. Only problem was, the tv didn't work and we asked for maintenance. They never showed. But overall it was great!

Wonderful!
This property exceeded my expectations. The location was in just the perfect spot. Watching the sunrise from your couch is definitely an unexpected bonus. Plenty of room to spread out and relax. The outdoor chairs on the patio were very comfortable, especially with a good cup of coffee.

August getaway
3 couples and 19 yo shared this condo. 1st off, description completely accurate! There is plenty of room, no one felt cramped and all had privacy. 3 bathrooms was key. The main corner balcony was perfect at any time of day, and the space?! Huge!! With high chairs, tables, and loungers. Storage unit has umbrellas, chairs, sand toys, noodles for water. We loved our stay!!! 2 issues with thermostat and dishwasher, both resolved within hours. Seamless communication, check in, and checkout. Love love Southwinds!!

Birthday Trip/Relaxation
My family and friends came to celebrate a birthday and we stayed 5 days/4 nights. The property was really nice and very spacious. We was sent all the info we needed on time. The condo was very clean. We had a couple of minor issues such as two door knobs need to be fixed and there was no hot water at one point. Maintenance fixed the water issue with no problem. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and the view to the ocean was amazing.

We had a great week in this unit - the size was perfect for our large family, and everything was quite clean. The one downside for us was that the building fire alarm (not just our unit) went off three times in the week we stayed and we had to evacuate - once at 3 am. Otherwise we loved it. We stayed here last here for Christmas. For Thanksgiving this year we got a bigger place (4bedrooms). It was very spacious and clean. Everyone didn’t feel on top of each other. We were worried that even though it could sleep 12, it would only have dishes for 4 but it didn’t. We will definitely make this our place to stay whenever we come to Myrtle Beach.
