There was nothing we did not like about the Attic.

big rooms, clean, lots of food and snacks available. jean was lovely and welcoming

mattress in bedroom was very uncomfortable.

Breakfast supplies great, though no filter coffee available

Location a bit far from Kilkenny

It was very spacious & plenty of things to do in the apartment. The host also filled the press and fridge with lots to eat, which was a lovely treat

I thought it was going to be 2 bedrooms & a soda bed in the sittingroom. When it in fact it was 1 double bedroom and a very large living area with a double & a single bed on one end and a sofa bed at the seating end

Everything was perfect, the host was really nice we will definitely come back in the future

I liked the location and also the room we stayed in. Very spacious and clean. Host's were very nice and helpful.

the space and house

The house is a beautiful 2 story building in the middle of rolling farmland. No other guests during our stay. The attic is exactly what it says, The entirety of the attic with loads of space including a pool table, enormous TV with Netflix, table top soccer and lots of other considerate touches. The bathroom is spacious and spotless and wi-fi is a very satisfactory 50mbs. The host were very informative and helpful with directions and local amenities.

There are greyhounds next door, so feeding times can be a little noisy. A sink in the kitchenette would have been a bonus. Little or nothing else to complain about. Just a really nice place to stay. Excellent value.

Jean was a great host.

Jean was the perfect host. We planned to cook, but there is no stove in the apartment. Jean and her whole family were all so kind to let us use their private kitchen and she even brought us the best dessert ever. Highly recommended!

A very comfortable space which was great for the kids. We wanted somewhere quiet and this was ideal. There was a kettle with tea/coffee and cereal and bread to make make toast. There was a large tv with all the streaming services (you just need to log yourself in) and the pool table and foosball were a hit with the kids. The location is slightly off the beaten track and the directions aren’t correct on booking.com. Make sure to ask for the Eircode so you can find the property, but the owner did phone us to make sure we weren’t lost.

We were only there for one night so didn’t find anything we didn’t like.

Very private spacious living accommodation situated in the attic of a beautiful home. Views were breath taking and the location was only 7km from Kilkenny. The host Jean was so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble , made us feel so comfortable. The private living area is really generous with lovely bedroom , and modern clean bathroom. Large TV with access to Netflix and WI-FI. Will definitely be re booking on our next visit to Kilkenny.
