Bed was comfortable. Parking is tight for midsize and larger cars. It took 5 mins for hot water for a shower.

We only spent one night here but the experience was excellent. Our room was well appointed, spotless, and most comfortable. The included breakfast was extensive and delicious. We will certainly return here for our next visit to Coronado.

The hotel has free parking! The room was VERY clean. The breakfast wasn't the greatest, but it was free and the employees were very kind! Very easy to find and close to the ferry landing. We will definitely stay here again!

We stayed only one night and it was great. They were very accommodating. There was a slight mess up with the payment and she called me to let me know what what happened and that if was fixed. Such great customer service!!! I would stay here again. Even for annolder building it was well kept and clean.

We had a pleasant stay at Best western Coronado. Our check in was quick and easy and staff so friendly and helpful.
Our room was clean and spacious and that’s a big plus. Even other guests were nice and friendly to us. Definitely staying here again.

Staff was great, very friendly and welcoming. The room was nice and clean. Location was great, very walkable to restaurants. The one issue is they blast CNN on the TV in the breakfast room which is very unpleasant. The staff was very kind about the situation but they had no control over the TV, sounds like it’s a corporate level issue/decision. So note to best western corporate - children shouldn’t be bombarded with death and destruction while trying to eat breakfast.

Beautiful hotel and very clean! Wish we had stayed longer than one night, the coffee open in the morning was superb and great walking distance to multiple options.

Great location! They have a few bicycles to go to the beach. The neighbourhood has some fine restaurants. You can walk to the ferry that brings you into the Gaslamp district. Unfortunately the price for this 3 minute cross-over is priced a 8 US$ single journey.

Reliably clean and well-equipped. No ocean view, but close to restaurants. Coronado is a great walking town, and this location fits the bill.

The staff was excellent, but the room was dark and had a hint of a bad smell. No amenities' like dish shop or paper towels are provided. The hotel was in a convenient location and felt safe. Parking was fine as well.

The location of the property was very convenient for activities in San Diego.
However, it is sitting right next to a busy 4 lane road and
can not be described as 'Quiet' at any time of the day.
That was the only downside to this rental.

Clean hotel that is centrally located. Good breakfast options and good coffee. I just wish the young man who checked us in was a bit more helpful. Didn’t tell us breakfast hours or that the refrigerator in our room needed to be turned on. We assumed it didn’t work.

The management at front office is friendly and cordial and I will stay there for sure. Just one thing the vending down stair is definitely too noisy for those guesses who stay there next to it.

We loved our room! It was clean & spacious & everything anyone could want. The front desk was attentive, welcoming & proactive. The property itself could use a tiny bit of maintenance, especially via the elevator & area viewable from. It is absolutely easy to find & get to. Highly recommend!

The images online and the verbal description present a flattering image. Economical with the truth, particularly bed size. Also receptionist whom we briefed did not pass on an important delivery message to her shift replacement. The result was that Apple courier could not deliver without instructions. As a result, we were forced to return to the Apple store the following day and pick up what we had paid for. Bad or indifferent communication.

Absolutely not as pictured, room not ready at check in, room was in a dark corner across from washer/dryer and vending, no view. Tv didn’t work, fridge didn’t work. Of 3 days, room was only made up once. No parking available for a truck, had to park 2 blocks away… Horrible experience….

The property was clean and nearby/walkable to destinations of interest, shops and restaurants. There is a great little market a block away for fresh produce and other goods. The free summer shuttle also stopped within walking distance, maybe a block away, so it was a free 5-minute ride to Hotel Del Coronado. Ferry transport to downtown San Diego was a mere 10 to 15 minute walk. The main draw was free on-site garage parking. The continental breakfast was simple, but sufficed. Otherwise, it was an average hotel that could use re-upholstering and re-carpeting, but it was still a great option for my vacation purposes.

This is the 3rd time we have stayed here and it never disappoints. The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. The room is clean and comfortable and very quiet ... especially at night. The hotel is super easy to get to when coming off the Coronado Bridge. The hotel is very close (less than a 10 minute walk) to Ferry's Landing which has great places to eat and shop and has magnificent views across San Diego Bay. This is definitely our go to place when we travel to San Diego!!!

We enjoyed our stay. Everyone was very nice, very convenient location for food options including grocery store choices. Breakfast was good, pool did the job, even little 2-3 person hot tub, beds were comfortable, small bathroom, great blackout curtains, and the furniture/carpet need to be updated.

We came here to escape the Arizona heat in July. The weather was perfect!!! Our room was a 2 room suite, very spacious, clean & comfortable. The decor was a bit outdated but that didnt retract from our stay. A delicious breakfast from 6-9am. Its located in a residential area within walking distance of several restaurants, bistros, a market store, & a couple of blocks from the water. Theres a free bus that takes you from our end of the island to the Del Coronado & Silver Strand Beach. The price was reasonable as well. Highly recommend!
