It is a nice hotel, is seems to be kind of oudated or a little bit more of repair in the rooms. The kitchen was without any appliance. We had to ask for them, because there wasn´t even a glass for water. The parking is not free it costs around 33 dollars per day. The buffet cost around 25 dollars per person, and finishes around 930am.

Requested daily housekeeping upon check in. Next day coming back from work. no housekeeping service had been done. No coffee or sugar was brought, bed not made, etc. I specifically asked for these items upon check in. 8:30 pm that night housekeeping came to my room knocking on my door wanting to clean, make up bed, etc. First night waited almost 2 hours in the dining room and food never came........waiter was very apologetic, but no food......I had not eaten all day and was not happy. 2nd day arrived back to hotel, bed was made.....no coffee was left... had to call downstairs for them to bring me some. Last morning during my stay....ran out of toilet tissue. Overall the beds were not comfy, the sheets and towels were very rough and not comfortable. There was mold in my shower at the bottom where the door rolls shut....which really did not shut.. the sliding doors in the shower would not stay closed, thus getting water all over the floor..

From Ms. Ginita, who answered my questions in advance when I called, to Mr. Taylor at the front desk check-in, who recognized our frequent-member status with gracious complimentary bottled waters, it was a welcomed feeling from beginning to end.

Everything was great except the room service

Lovely Stay! The people staying there were fun, the service was great, the complimentary cookies were AMAZING! Also so glad I chose a city view for our stay it was beautiful to wake up and go to sleep to!

I liked my stay with the city view on the top floor with good customer service. I asked for extra towels nd they brought them up to my room promptly, i will stay again.

The manager Pinky gave my husband and I the BEST experience we’ve ever had at a hotel! She was accommodating and reassuring. Because of her we will be visiting more Doubletree properties!

The pool and location were perfect for the conference I was attending while in Houston. Our room did have a notable cigarette smell. Nothing that was overwhelming - just something that you noticed when you first walked into the room.

Cons: Our room had an infestation. We had to pay $60 for parking for 2 days. Pros: Central location to my itinerary. Friendly staff.

The property does not look anything like the photos online. There was a strong stench in both of our rooms and the area felt very unsafe. We ended up cutting our stay short.

Property is worn Including the rooms. Lights in bathroom went out And even when notified, maintenance still never came to fix. On checkout day there was a powder outage amongst the entire hotel. With no prior knowledge, Staff slipped a note under the door saying it was a scheduled power outage for 24 hours. No breakfast lunch and dinner, No TV, no phone, no housekeeping or assistance from staff. At the very least, They could have told us this was a scheduled power outage so we can make a choice whether we would want to stay there or book another hotel but that option wasn’t given to us. However the main areas are still nice. The pool is also very nice as well.

After 7 days in the hotel in the day i have to check out the power of the hotel was off, there is no water, no elevators, i have 12 laggage i have to carry 12 floor with all my laggage, when i complain in the front desk they just say sorry

I absolutely loved my stay here. Made my birthday trip unforgettable! I do wish the check in times were a lot earlier than 4pm but other than that I will definitely be returning and recommending. Thank you Doubletree

So check in took forever, and even when the front desk had a line out the door, there was one person checking in guests, and three other people standing behind the counter doing other things. it took almost 40 minutes for us to check in. Housekeeping just didn't show up in our room our second day, so when we ran out of toilet paper and clean towels I had to call down to the front desk. You would think that with all those people standing at the front it wouldn't have taken so long to get help. but it did. Valet is apparently just using the courtyard to park cars so it is very tough to get in and out of the parking situation. the parking garage was littered with cups and trash, along with a lot of noise. my last complaint is that when i wheeled myself out to the car with the luggage cart (btw there is only one or two) when stuff fell off of it as i exited the hotel, the three hotel employees who walked past me couldn't have been bothered to help. Manager was of no help. Save your money, stay at one of the 6 other hotels in the same area of the Galleria.

Good location, convenient, clean comfortable bedding/sheets, helpful staff. Only disappointment is the cost of parking.

We booked for 4 people and we only got towels for 3. The property is very outdated and on the last day of our stay there was a 24 hour power outage! Overall, I would not stay there again unless there are some major updates.

Hotel needs to be remodeled, old rooms everything in the room was dusty and old, how likely I would be staying here again? Probably never due to how old it is.

My stay was amazing the staff was very friendly and helpful it was very clean the breakfast was good.. the bed was nice and comfy and i absolutely loved the shower water was very hot i didn’t want to get out.. I give the hotel a 10/10
