This is a beautiful historic home

I loved, loved, loved this place. Myra was incredibly helpful and welcoming. I needed a place for aome real R&R and it did not disappoint! I enjoyed the atmosphere and felt a visiting princess. The canopy bed enveloped like a long lost cousin and I slept like a baby. I've told everyone in earshot about this Mansion and its historical flavor. What a treat. Thank you Myra!

This is a victorian mansion repurposed as bed and breakfast. REALLY LOVELY rooms. If you want things to opperate perfectly go to a Marriott. If you want a lovely experience, come here. Im glad we did.

The Elfindale Mansion was beautiful. The bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed the history of the mansion. We were able to visit the rooms that didn’t have any occupants and they were just amazing as our room was! Definitely recommend this place.

I liked the old historic property, and the staff's knowledge of it.

We stayed for our anniversary and the property could not have been better! Our room was amazing, we stayed in the Veranda Suite and the woman in charge was a doll! We had a great breakfast the next morning, everything was so neat! The history of the mansion was so cool and I can’t wait to go back! I would highly recommend anyone traveling to stay here.

Unique property.

Myra was so nice! Kept in contact with me and even gave me a bit of history on the building and showed me a few of the unoccupied rooms and every room I seen was/is beautiful! If you like historic bed & breakfasts you’ll love staying here! Come to Springfield MO and check it out for yourself! You won’t regret it!

Great shower.

This is an amazing place with an amazing history. Beautiful, restored 1900s mansion with gorgeous decor. Comfortable bed, nice bathroom, and a lovely sitting area in the room. Excellent service with friendly hosts. Coffee available at all times; microwave available. Breakfast offered on the weekends.

The mansion is unique and has period specific decoration. The rooms are spacious and vintage. Myra was very helpful, kind, & knowledgeable of the property. Definitely a unique experience worth trying!

Never stayed at a B&B before but this place was the cutest. Bed was comfy, never heard or saw another person after the front desk receptionist, Myra, left for the evening. Myra was absolutely lovely as well! The only thing I found disappointing was there was no tub in the bathroom like the photos advertised. Overall the experience was lovely and would stay again if we’re ever back this way :)

This is a hidden gem in Springfield. Would recommend anyone stay here. The staff is amazong and the Mansion is beautiful. Close to dinning and entertainment. Right down the road from Bass Pro. Love this place.

Looked a lot more interesting online. In person, it is a very old building somewhat in disrepair or neglect. Neat history, but poorly maintained. Would not stay here again. Peeling wallpaper, dirty windows, half used shampoo bottles, etc. Just not a great experience. Breakfast okay if you can make the 1/2 hour when it is served and the coffee is pure Folgers!

The property is so unique and has such rich history. Rooms are huge and decorated differently. The staff was incredibly accommodating, friendly and informative. I highly recommend everyone to give the Mansion at Elfindale a stay!

It was so beautiful and unique. I loved staying here. The lady at the front desk was so kind and even gave us a brief tour and a little history about the house, and even walked us up the stairs to our room. It was so cool. Never been given that level of customer service at a hotel before. I will recommend this hotel to my friends and stay here in future visits.

The host was very friendly an d excellent to work with. The accommodations were great and the breakfast was delicious the next day.

The coolest old mansion. You feel like you are in the early 1900s but with the amenities you’d expect from an overnight stay today. Great history included. Highly recommend for something different from the same old any-town-USA chain hotel experience!

Love this place. It could use some work here and there, but it has character and is a very interesting place to stay. The staff are very friendly and accommodating.

Lots of history at this residence! Beautiful scenery and architecture

Don't make you stay in Springfield another "cookie cutter" experience in one of the chain establishment. Make your overnight stay an experience at the Mansion. My wife and I spent two night while visiting the WOW aquarium and the Bass Pro Shop, just down the street. Of course we stayed on week nights, but the quiet was deafening. We didn't hear a sound all night, none of the normal motel/hotel issues. We can't express our positive attitude toward the Mansion and will stay there on future visits. I also want to mention that my wife has mobility issues and has started using a wheelchair for extended trips. If you need the same convenience, please check early. They have a new ramp on the south entrance and one accessible suite with a shower on the main floor, the Governor Suite.

Loved our stay. If I'm in the area again, I will definitely check to see if there is availability here. Staff is very sweet and accommodating.

This property is a step back in time! Each room had a sleeping area, a sitting area & its own bathroom. The common areas were also gorgeous. Myra is a gem. This is a comfortable convenient retreat to launch day trips from, if you're anywhere near Springfield.
