Too old with smell

Nice motel close to the Mitai Maori Village. We were able to walk the short distance to the show at the village. Nice size kitchenette and large room.

We have been over charged in the name of extra person charges, complained to Expedia customer service and they told will refund/voucher $50 but turned out no refund or no voucher has been received, worst customer support

A bit dated, very old decor, but clean.

The property was like stepping back to the 1970’s. The carpet was worn. The “kitchen” area had insufficient sockets for the number of appliances. The reading lights in the bedroom didn’t work and one was held together with cellotape. I am amazed that this motel has a safety certificate.There was apparently a hot pool but it was in a shed which was locked up. It was in a good location for the gondola and activities.

Motel is very handily located, right next to skyline gondola and just down the road from Zorb and next to Mini Golf with Bunnies. Motel is a little dated and could use some upgrading, but hosts very friendly, good size grounds and trampoline and plenty of space for parking.

Hosts friendly. Big down fall was the double bed, we were wondering why the bed was so unconfortable and noisy, it was kept together by 2 by4 wood. The couch was terrible shape hidden with sofa covers. Slightly run down. Rubbish bin for kitchen way to small for a family of four. I can say it is very warm. Convenient to luge and mingolf short drive to supermarkets and other attractions.

Awesome place to stay, only the car parking is not enough but apart from all, the property is excellent

Dirty little place where things are filling apart. The couple who run the place is helpful, but owners clearly did not spend any money on renovation for a very long time. The bar next door doesn’t help with noice every night to. Not recommend it’s all.

Facilities were clean and tidy

We enjoyed the above options and would like to re-book again, same place, next year for a extended time, so, we can discover the activities and go on a shopping spree. However, the fire alarm, in Unit 4, kept going off while cooking our toast. It seemed that the fire alarm, was placed, too close to the kitchenette. Otherwise, pleasantly enjoyed our stay. Everything was clean and fresh. It was set in lovely grounds was quiet and peaceful. Would happily stay there again.

It didn't have laundry facilities but there was a laundry business just a short drive away. Hot pool was out of order. Lots of other amenities close by, countdown, garage, take away, food outlets, skyline. And a decent size play ground for a toddler. Owner and staff were very nice.

Very clean Jug didn't work but was very quickly replaced. Buildings need modernising $185 seemed expensive for the age of the buildings.

Nice cheap option

Great cheap Place that was perfect for our needs. 5 adults 1 child. Only issue no one at reception when we checked out and was unsure of process and had to email. Also room 5 shower temperature needs fixing.

This property was conveniently located and easy to find just a little old needs some updates but very clean and tidy

Lovely staff, huge room and well equipped kitchen. Mini golf with giant rabbits next door is a must with kids!

The motel is only a 15 minute bus ride from Rotorua centre. The motel is very dated and needs a refurbished. It was comfortable and spacious and clean. I would stay again

Nice motel apart from the fact that their laundry wasn’t working as well as their hot pool- no mention of these distinctions on their website nor on the email we received after booking and paying. Beds were comfy and the electric blankets were a plus. The location too is a plus- only 50-100 m away from the cultural village , the skyline, the farms, and other major attractions of the area.

This is a 7 unit motel right next door to Rotorua Skyline which is very convenient. I was surprised of the price each night was super expensive for given how old and dated / tried the property / room is. The price might of been higher because I was traveling in the end of year peek holiday period. Checking in was manual in which you had to fill out a form with all your contact details then get's placed in a big pile with the others. I found each unit had a cheap silver letter box numbers on each sliding door and one unit next to mine had it's one missing. My unit had NO AIR CONDITION! This made sleeping in the summer difficult that you need to have the fan running by your bed all night to help cool down which can be unpleasant at times. By looking at the building design it not hard to add Air Conditioning one room at a time. Parking can be tricky and tight at time when all the cars are parked out side the units. Staff are very nice and check up on their guest to see if you are okay and need anything.

Property super close to Skyline, mini golf next door, Zorb just up the road and across the road is Rotorua Canopy Tours. Walkable to a few eating facilities and supermarket countdown. We had 5 people in our group so one had to use the couch which is hard and not a comfortable sleep. All amenities to do own cooking. Did not use the hot tub so cannot comment on it. First impression wasnt great but the rooms are clean and beds comfy.

Rip off , service was slack the spa bath wasnt working, shouldnt advertised things we cant use

My kids and I loved the space of the unit.

Convenient, close to family attractions, clean. Slightly on dampish side, heat pump didnt work, no laundry facilities & no dry towels were supplied.

Very friendly owners! Note had everything we needed for our stay. Only negative was that the wifi signal wasn’t very strong, so couldn’t be used a lot of the time. Location was excellent being right next door to the gondola.

I never received a confirmation of my booking so thought it wasn’t booked. So we booked other accomodation thru air Bnb. Then I see that my credit card has been charged for the accomodation that wasn’t confirmed by Expedia. Ive used Expedia before and know how it’s works - I didn’t receive a confirmation. I’ve checked all my emails including junk and deleted.
