A great place to visit and well maintained!!! Worth the price!!!

I was able to collect the key from Skovveien and then take an easy 5 minute walk to Colbjornsensgt. The room was excellent and overlooked the Palace gardens as a little bonus. As always with Frogner House I appreciated a comfortable bed, a sitting area and the general facilities a standard hotel room normally does not provide.

Great location, convenient to book - friendly service when flight delay let to late check in.

I booked this hotel and then stayed in it because it had a washer in the room, which was very helpful in the middle of my long trip. The washer was it’s major redeeming quality. To check in at another location (even though I was aware when I booked it) was inconvenient. When you have been traveling all day with a very heavy bag adding another 10 minutes of hiking around is not a perk. Maybe not a problem if you had a car. The throw pillow on the bed and the ottoman for your suitcase both had icky white stains on them. I wanted to cover the ottoman with a towel to that I could still use it, but there was only one towel in the room, and a note that to request towels was an extra charge and they were only delivered on Wednesdays. Also there was no floor mat towel, and so any water that flooded from the shower could not be easily cleaned up, making getting ready uncomfortable and wet. Also, there was no art on the walls, and the blackout curtain for one window was a few inches too short. It would be nice, as others have mentioned to have instructions for the washer. Despite googling the brand and searching through instruction manuals I still managed to somehow wash with hot water resulting in ruining a few important articles of clothing for my trip. The location is perfect. With a few changes from the hotel management (washer instructions, cleaner furniture and more towels) this could be a much more comfortable place to stay. I, however, would not stay here again.

This apartment was absolutely great! Easy check-in, great location, very clean and comfortable. I will definitely be booking this place again when I return to Oslo.

We where upgraded to a 3 room apartment due to some booking issues. Effecetive handling by the reception staff.

Excellent location, secure building, nice small studio apartment with kitchenette and laundry in unit. Bathroom was a bit dirty, a couple of the windows had broken bits, and I would have loved to see a laundry pod or more than one towel, but overall was a great place to be based out of for 3 days. Wi-Fi wasn't working when I was here but my data plan allows roaming in Europe, so not an impact for me.

this apartment was amazing! a stones throw away from thr royal palace. the apartment was very clean, with all the facilities...shower, kitchen, dining table, double bed, washing machine, crockery, cutlery. the room had plenty of storage and even had underfloor heating!! (wow). its handy having a kitchen to cook your own food as everything is so expensive. there is supermarket round the corner to buy various ingredients. i would definitely recommend this apartment as its very close to the centre, clean and very homely. only let down was there was only 2 sachets of coffee despite them knowing we hsd booked for two nights.

Room was unexpectedly very clean, organised and well stocked with everything you could need. More storage was made available by how they built a platform above the kitchen and bathroom. I liked how you have the sliding doors to separate the kitchenette and bathroom from the living space. Highly recommended.

The studio room was very small, stuffy (the window did not open)and badly arranged (too much furniture in a very small space). I would not recommend taking a studio room, the average hotel room gives you more feeling of space.

Room was ok, however no ventilation. I like fresh air. Had to look up washing machine instructtion on internet.

Pleasantly surprised. A nice room (I was alone so has the studio single) with the bonus of having a waher/dryer in the bathroom. The location is great, just behing the palace and right next to two trams and the Bygdoy bus. Easy access from National Theater station (train and subway, or catch the 19 tram from Oslo S. A very quite and tranquil area. Easy walk to Aker Brygge or Frogner park. They offer a breakfast service but i would skip that - there is a nice little cafe one block west which I used for breakfast (I was at the satellite location (Inkognitogata) so check-in was two blocks away - a minor hassle).

Frogner House operates quite a number of apartment facilities in the area of Oslo just west of the royal castle/palace, in an area I believe is called Frogner on maps. It appears that they vary in size of accommodations - we stayed in the Incognigata (great name) street one, which was a studio apartment. Very comfortable, clean, well equipped. You should know that these are apartments, not hotels, so no hotel services though it appears that one can purchase them (new linens, cleaning, etc.). However, a well equipped kitchen area. The location is close to stores, restaurants, etc. and a GREAT bakery/coffee shop half a block away. Our only dissatisfaction was that the sleeping area was a very compressed alcove - literally no room to either side of the bed so we had to climb in and out over the bottom.
