Friendly and efficient check in Clean, comfortable room

Great friendly

Hotel is clean and very well maintained. Staff is super friendly and helpful. I have stayed in the suites side and the Tru side and I head a great expereice in both. I will be back again soon

Really great property - the common areas, the pool, lobby were all nicely maintained and spacious, and the staff were friendly. My particular room had some issues - mainly in the bathroom (the wall-anchored soaps kept leaking and the toilet moved when it was in use), and the sink water did not drain very fast. But overall, would definitely recommend this place!

The breakfast was excellent!

The room had no hair dryer, phone didn't work, the shower soap dispenser was empty. Then we had noisy neighbors bit we couldn't call the desk due to Ann inoperative phone

staff was super friendly gave my daughters friend a free pint of ice cream to celebrate her birthday. very accommodating hotel with games to play bottles of wine for sale. love tru!

Wonderful experience

Great location! Hotel is full of family fun for the times your not site seeing. Only thing that wasnt great was the beds for us.

I did not sleep a wink. There was a group of 6 unaccompanied minors and a basketball above us. They were nouncing the basketball on the the floor (my ceiling) and wrestling all night. They finally were quiet at 5 in the morning, just in time for me to start my day.😠 The front desk was of little help.

Very good property. I had no issues at all and the staff were very helpful.

Felt so sterile. Felt like a hospital. No dressers or drawers, not closet but an open rod. MINIMAL. If you like Minimalist, this property is for you.

Close to Albany and very nice, clean and close to shopping.

We were given a room that must have been a janitor closet turned into a room. No furniture other than a bed and a super small attached to wall desk. The window shade was also taped up to the wall. Also the hotel will only supply clean towels every other day of your stay even on request. I was also told that they could not give a copy of my receipt only emailed and that was their policy.

I’ve stayed here over a dozen nights in the last few years. Nicest hotel in the area. Not the cheapest, but it has the best location and feels the safest.

Front desk was so friendly during check in—kept her smile when the phone was ringing off the hook, and a long line of customers. She was great. Our weekend plans were outside in the sun both days, and we came back to clean room with Ice cold AC. Shower pressure was a little weak, but was nice and hot when needed. Breakfasts were delish with good variety.

Pros: The location was great. I had never seen the combo of two hotels in one. Night desk clerk was very nice. I didn't wake up in time for breakfast, but I thought it was nice you could choose between either hotel for breakfast. I appreciated check out was at noon. Price was great for a stop over on a cross country drive. Very clean. Nice common areas. Cons: (I had a king room.) The mattress sat directly on a wooden bed frame which was not super comfortable. The furniture was very sparse. There was only one chair in the room, so not sure how that would work for two people. There was plenty of room in the corner for an arm chair. The suitcase rack sat over the A/C unit which I thought was odd. There was not a lot of room to put stuff. To the right of the tv was a wooden table maybe 1ft by 3ft and there was a pull out desk that was maybe 2 ft by 3 ft. So there wasn't really anywhere to put anything. I guess this is just the style of Tru.

I had to ask for soap three times before someone responded. I also asked for bath towels but no one brought any.

TV was not smart tv

The hotel rooms seem like a very basic dorm Room… room had no soap and couldn’t get anyone to answer the phone for hours - had no much at the front desk either … had to track down a housekeeper in the morning for soap

Friendly staff, clean hotel, small pool.

Nice place for an overnight stay with our granddaughter. Breakfast was good, room was comfortable. We had some extremely loud people above us , it sounded like they were doing gymnastics for about 6 hours. The pool was closed for cleaning so our granddaughter was very disappointed. But we would stay again despite the little problems.
