We've visited Florence several times now and always loved walking pas this iconic building with the view that one day I would stay there. This visit that goal materialised. A great reception from the ladies in reception led us to our room facing the Arno River. The room was huge, king sized bed, and bathroom well appointed. Clean and spacious. Superb bedroom.
Breakfast is also a treat. They have a chef who makes the most fantastic omlettes, and the stocking of the buffet breakfast is done maticuloulsly. Our go-to hotel from now on when we will inevitably return to Florence.

2nd time here and will keep coming back. Love how everything is walkable without being in the thick crowds of Florence. Hotel and staff are incredible and very knowledgeable. Will keep coming back.

We loved being right next to the Arno River. It was an easy walk to the Oltrarno area and just as easy to get to the main sites of the city. Our room was surprisingly large, but the windows were placed oddly high so that we could only look out of one of them from a small set of stairs if we tiptoed.
The views from the rooftop bar were magnificent! We'd stay here again.

Our fourth time at the property. Staff is always friendly and professional. Not inexpensive, but true value as the rooms are incredibly clean, plenty of amenities, great location to walk to the Duomo, Academia, Uffizzi, etc. Concierge service has never let us down on restaurant recommendations/reservations. The views from the terrace and bar are magnificent. The rooms are very big even for American standards. The staff is super friendly and attentive. The location next to the Arno and overlooking Ponte Vecchio nut not next to it and its crowds is superb.

Location is perfect by the river. View from restaurant amazing. Typical posh Westin. Way too expensive for what it is honestly. Guests did not adhere to Italy mask mandate and crowded onto elevators to and from rooftop bar restaurant. Staff was delightful.

Where do I start? No tv, ordered a bucket of ice, instead got a glass half full, 10 euro coke, water pressure low, no glasses, had 2 cappuccino’s and cereal but charged for 2 breakfast buffets, do not disturb sign broken but not replaced therefore staff woke us up, on a more positive note the concierge staff (alesso) was great, having worked for Marriott for 22 years, I was very disappointed.
