Excellent stay!

Nice visit. Had a pest problem but it was handled rather quickly.

Property is spotless and very nice location. 15 minutes from downtown SAV and the SAV airport. Host responded quickly to any questions we had as we are new to this form of vacationing.

This was a nice home. The space was clean and well supplied with dish-ware and soap. Nice and quite neighborhood if you're looking for a relaxed stay.

Unfortunately, the day of check-in was somewhat of a nightmare. The host did not send the access code at check-in time (4pm). After multiple VRBO messages, text messages, and phone calls, my family and I were in the driveway of the property before 7pm and the host would not answer any of my messages or calls. It was not until my husband called her from his phone (with a number she did not know) that she picked up and finally gave us the code. Host said she had sent it via VRBO app earlier but VRBO customer service confirmed this was not the case and we were disappointed that she was so unresponsive. Upon accessing the property, it was beautifully decorated and appeared to be cleaned. Of note, the VRBO listing says there is a bed in the living room but it is actually a sofa (that does not pull out to a bed). There were 2 very small cots that worked for our littlest ones. After our first night there, we noticed ant piles in both the kitchen and the dining room, which would be expected in GA this time of year. There were also quite a few baby roaches we had to kill. The morning we were to check out, a maintenance person showed up to the house at 0945 (checkout was 11am). We had no heads up from the host. Host told us to let them in and they would not bother us; however, they were drilling and hammering drywall very loudly while we were eating breakfast and relaxing before our long drive back. It was very disappointing.

Great stay, house was clean and well kept. We didn't really need it but we couldn't get the WiFi password to work. The toilet in the master bath ran occasionally also. Overall, no complaints. We went for a work trip and appreciated the calm suburban community to come back to after each day.

I can’t express how perfect this house is! Beautiful inside, safe neighborhood, & just a $30-$40 Uber ride away from Savannah. 45 mins from Tybee Island. When we come back to Savannah, we will definitely rent again. Prices on Uber were higher due to St. Patrick’s Day weekend festivities.

The pros: very nicely decorated, plenty of room for the 5 of us. Neighborhood is quiet, and it doesn't take long to get to the highway to head to Savannah. We were able to figure out the Roku television system or stream from our laptop. The cons: while it was cold outside and warm inside, we constantly struggled with the NEST thermostat, which seemed to override our attempts to turn it DOWN, so we would wake up too hot to sleep. The mattresses are a little too "squishy" and made my back hurt after 5 nights. The cute blue decor extended to a too small Keurig coffee maker, for which we had to buy a 30+ pack for us to make one cup at a time for 5 days. I think a larger standard pot would make sense for a 3-bedroom house. We needed to do dishes immediately, as there were not enough bowls or coffee mugs, and the silverware was practically disposable quality. There were also barely enough towels and those were mismatched. We had 4 small bath towels and 3 washcloths and handtowels for the 5 of us. For what we were paying, I would have (and have had) better. We had to ask to get additional TP (1 roll per bathroom for 5 days) and the supply closet didn't even have many more towels that could've been used. Communication was quick when we had issues but I had to reach out for instructions on checking in and what to do when we left. There wasn't a welcome email/text or book telling us what was expected on departure. With a few changes to the kitchen supplies, housekeeping and basic communication, this could be a 5-star home.
