This hotel is outdated. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable. My back hurt so bad after waking up in the morning. Mold smell in room. There were 2 bath towels in the bathroom. No extra towels. Definitely not worth $480 per night. I am very disappointed and will not be staying here ever again. Not worth it.

Upon arrival our tv in our room didn’t work. We moved to a lower level with a horrible view that had a fan drying the floor the entire first night. We asked for glasses that we didn’t receive for a full day. The room has no refrigerator nor microwave. We had to throw away so much food because we couldn’t refrigerate it nor heat it up. At check out we were charged $44 for two smart waters that are about $2.50 at most. We had the worst time there for my husbands birthday. Totally overpriced and the hotel is dated. I’ve been to Vegas more than 8 times and I will never stay at the MGM again not recommend to anybody. We had a total of 8 people staying here and they all hated this hotel and wish we would’ve chose another hotel with hospitality, ensuring consumers are getting all for their money, and update this old hotel.

Worn needs updating sprawling difficult layout

Beautiful place, nice room, clean.

Old hotel that needs some updates. The rooms were clean but dated and dingy. For the money there are much nicer places to stay on strip.
3.8
Cigarette smell, too much.

MGM casino and resort is very dated and not worth the price per night. Room not very clean, tv didn’t work first two nights, and didn’t even get the room type I reserved but since traveling alone didn’t complain about not getting king bed.

I like the property. Just wished they would have microwaves in the room

Check in takes forever. Checking in using your phone requires you to download an app, and the digital key is inconvenient at best because it’s required to open (multiple) doors just to get ti the elevator. You’ll still need it to use the elevator, do either you have to hold your phone while carrying/pulling your luggage or you will have to unlock your phone, bring up the app and get the key. You can get physical keys at the lobby, but that defeats the purpose of making the process self-served and convenient.

My husband ended up in the hospital, in Icu, the night before we were to arrive in Vegas. I called Mgm to ask for a refund for the 3 nights we booked. They refused to give us any refund at all.

Very good experience from check-in to check-out. Pricey food options, but there is always Denny's down the strip a block or so for those on a lower budget. Great amenities, slots and awesome pool area. Would stay at MGM again. Having a monorail there is a big plus.

The line to check in was so long when I arrived. There were only 3 people working. It took an unusually long time.
When I checked in I wanted to go straight to bed, but I could hear the planes right out my window. It was awful.
In the morning at about 7am all I wanted to do was sleep in, and there were a group of Spanish speaking workers outside my window chatting and joking very loudly. This was uncalled for. They should have more respect for guests staying there and wanting to sleep past 7am.
3.8
Very comfortable and around everything we wanted to see!

I stayed in a separate tower, that was the old one. Outdated lift and dirty hall, there isn't hall at all.
3.8
Beautiful hotel and room. The pool complex and lazy river are wonderful and the staff is friendly and accommodating.
Everything you need is right in the complex including plenty of stores and restaurants. Expect to do a lot of walking though--it's a big place. Very conveniently located to the airport and the monorail.
Considering the price and the $50/day resort fee, very little is included. There's no fridge or even coffeemaker in the room (coffeemaker is so standard, I rarely even verify when booking). As far as I can tell, the $50 resort fee is for towels at the pool. Expect to pay extra for most everything else and at inflated Vegas prices ($6 for a 20 oz soda in the little convenience store in the lobby, for example).

Outdated, expensive for it’s category, terrible elevator service, noisy, overrated
3.8
Too expensive to eat. We bought 4 hamburgers w/3 fries and 2 beers $135 and not very good. Food court. Be ready to walk miles to you rooms.
MGM is clean and appears kept. The room was clean.

It was a great trip we enjoyed it immensely. Can’t wait to go back.

Not worth money

Everything was amazing

I believe that ee got a bad room because with booked through hotels.com instead of directly through the hotel. They were given the last room on the tenth floor in the old part of the casino, which was a LONG way from the casino and restaurants. I was told that I would not be charged for parking, and then when I was leaving, I had to pay $23. We went to Subway to eat and nobody spoke english, so they refused to serve us. You had to point to what you wanted and there were no changes because they couldn't do it. I will never stay at this hoyel again.

Rooms need updating.
3.8
The service was terrible, there were so many people standing around not able to help you. I will never stay at this hotel again
3.8
They charge me extra $12 without any reason. I want you to refund me $12.

Arrived at midnight room was flithy crumbs all over floor used towels in bathroom. Waited till 2am for them to clean the room when I just wanted to sleep after a 12hr drive. Strip view which i was charged was a view and sounds of demolition at the Flamingo.

One of the reasons we chose the hotel was because of they advertise more than 1 pool and a lazy river. The pools are beautiful, and we enjoyed very much. I did not like that the pools were open on the weekend, but when the weekday came, they closed 2 pools only leaving the main pool and lazy river. This left the main pool very crowded. Difficult to get a spot to put your towel. Other guests were complaining as well. Also, they have a lazy river but fail to be upfront informing on the website that you will have to purchase a raft. They don't have rafts available to use during your stay like you might expect at a waterpark. I was told you can swim in it, but you have to buy a raft if you want a raft.
3.8
I very much enjoyed the MGM the restaurants are good (although very pricey) and the pools are great. The only thing I'd like to say is I was highly annoyed by not having a coffee maker in the room. I did not enjoy having to go downstairs and pay $5 for a coffee at 6am. Guests should be able to request one.

Staff friendly. Room hot

We ended an anniversary trip in Vegas for one night. It was our first stay at MGM. The rooms are spacious the bathroom is large and everything was great!
3.8
It’s an older hotel and needs a remodel and update. Staff was pleasant. Lines for everything and the casino said no smoking but there was something in the air that hurt my eyes and head like smoke

Amazing

I have a wonderful day at MGM

I will never book the studio king again. This part of the hotel is like the basement of the building. The “exit” stairs take you to an alley way with homeless people. I tried getting a new room but the front desk said they had nothing available which was a lie because I could have booked something online. We’ve stayed at the MGM multiple times and never have we had a room in this area nor been disappointed with our accommodations. The fact that still charge a resort fee for this part of the hotel is ridiculous.
3.8
Check in was easy and fast, person who helped us was amazing. Check out same fast and easy
3.8
Our checking experience wasn’t enjoyable, the checking agent was not friendly and overcharged us so we had to wait to get reimbursed and lost about an hour of our time!

Great deal for this hotel. Clean, comfortable, and well located.
