I stayed in a queen suite. It was located on the bottom level of the hotel. My room was noisey. The heating vents were so loud when they came on, it woke me up. I could hear people walking over top of my head all hours day and night, the sectional chairs in the living room were faded with worn fabric and stains. The kitchen appliances were mix match and the iron didn't work so they had to bring me another one. There is no safe in the room and no ice makers on the premises. The only toiletries provied are one small bar of hand soap and stationary pumps in the shower of conditioner,
shampoo and shower gel. The bed was comfortable and clean, and the shower was good and hot.The furniture needs to be updated. Half of the laundry room washers and dryers were out of service. No one came to clean my room during my stay. This hotel is ok if you don't mind dealing with everything my review mentions that's not good.

I've stayed here many times. Service is friendly. Rooms are dated and a little worn, but the location is great -- a few minutes from the Avalon mall, GA400 and walking distance to the fabulous Big Creek greenway (which I always use). This time they upgraded me to a two bedroom suite. Regarding cleanliness, there was some gross mystery slime on the bedside table which I had to wipe up. At check out, the desk clerk was nowhere to be found for about 5-10 minutes and I was in a hurry. If you want a posh place, this isn't it. But the location is good and the hotel gets the job done.

Quite disappointed with the stay. Took an hour to checkin. There were nobody at the check in desk. Room assigned has super strong cleaning solution. They did assigned me a different room later. New TV were installed but it was not setup. Towels were completely worn out and tore. Employee were very nice.

This is the second time we have stayed at this property. everything was good, except the breakfast during the week...you can only eat so many breakfast burritos with plant based meat for 4 days in a row. There were some other options like bagels, pastries oatmeal and cold cereal, but as far as warm good the selection was not very appealing. I ended up going out to breakfast my last 2 days there.

The rooms are big and the kitchenette is nice. The bathrooms are dated, causing it to look unclean. Beds are comfortable. No Smart TVs. I was disappointed in how they handled the bill. Wasn't told until check-in that theres a $100 refundable damage fee but he told me not to worry about it. What he didn't tell me was that you're charged that $100 regardless and don't get it back for 5-10 business days. It wasnt even on my bill that I signed at check out. Didnt see it until it showed up on my bank account. I've never heard of this but won't stay at another Sonesta because of this. Way to treat your guests who are respectful of property.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sonesta! Everything was perfect, very clean, staff was couteous and even the customers that were staying. We didnt bring a pet but we LOVED the fact that it is a pet friendly location. We will definitely look for Sonesta locations everywhere we travel in the future!

On the other hand the staff seem kinda annoyed by the guests, and I must admit some of the guest were sketch.

The neighbors above us let their toddler run back and forth for hours. The carpet in our room was dirt - kids feet were black for walking around on it. . The kitchen floor was sticky. Bugs in the bath tub. Had to ask for towels. They wanted to charge us for extra blanket.
